Please contact your federal congressman for your area. I know the U. S. has many problems but we need to protect the honest citizens. Please take time to call and tell them somthing has to be done. This is a federal issue not one for the state. The phone companies need to be held responsible in some way.

Even if they already have your CREDIT CARD NUMBER, do NOT assume they are legit. I have heard that they are trying to get the three-digit security code you have on your card, then they can hack your card and use up your credit. Don't fall for it. Also, if they require a credit card number of a "good" card to "fix" your credit, you better believe they are taking money from your card. Don't fall for that either.

The us gov should go after these groups and FINE them for being in violation of the "DO NOT CALL" laws. We sure do need the revenue to decrease the debt!!!

Call about lowering credit card rates. I've had the same recorded call coming from other phone numbers. Near the end of the message the recording says to press 2 to end further calls. This definitely does not work.

So annoyed in fact that I filed a violation of the national do not call registry complaint against them because it is not only illegal for them to call you if you are registered on the list, but it is also now supposedly illegal to use a pre-recorded message and an auto dialer to make the call! To EVERYONE who gets calls from this caller... Do us ALL a favor!! Report them to the registry!! The more reports they get the faster they act!!

Credit card robocaller who keeps violating federal do not call laws

The intensity of the call was quite overwhelming. I -tensed- and looked at the phone. At that very moment a chill came over my body and I thought to myself: "My God it's someone trying to sell me something." My premenitions were correct! I played it smart and typed the number in ONE DIGIT AT A TIME! I stared with amazement at the screen and read the comments. It was credit card sales people wanting to lower my interest rates. Right then and there I felt like passing out but I kept my composure and wrote this instead. Run now. RUNNNN!!!!!!!

What is the use of a no call list if everyone keeps calling. I have no outstanding balances on any credit card, but the recording said that they could lower my interest rate! That is where I hung up. The number will be automatically Zapped from now on!

Have caller id, and number was 406-224-9078 Caller Id :Procedures Ringed 10 times then quit.

How do I stop them from calling?

  1. Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
