I would think after thousands and thousands treats they might get the message their scam is no longer works. Think about it? How many times would you like to hear this treat in a day?

I have called my federal rep. Kenny Marchant complaining about these scamming calls. I got back 30 pages of paper telling me how to file a complaint which I have been doing for 5 years. Please call your federal reps. and file a complaint in your area. I am just like the fellow "Disgusted". The telephones companies are aiding and abetting in these crimes.

I've been called SO MANY times by SO MANY different numbers, I've lost track of which sites I've put comments on! Got this call at 9:07AM on my home phone; recovering from a MAJOR illness and this WOKE me. Didn't answer/no message, but I've gotten the "Rachel" call too many times to count.

Telling people to BUY a call-blocking phone or service is OK, BUT I think we are MISSING A MAJOR POINT here: THE PHONE COMPANIES, and CREDIT CARD COMPANIES ARE **IN** ON THESE SCAMS, OTHERWISE THEY WOULD HAVE STOPPED BY NOW. Do you NOTICE that the SOLUTION for NOT BEING VICTIMIZED/the LAW VIOLATED is for *US* to *BUY* SOMETHING from CORPORATE AMERICA???

THINK about it: Buy a PRODUCT or SERVICE so that CRIMINALS CANT HARM or REACH US. Doesn't that sound a little like EXTORTION to you??? Isn't that the same as the neighborhood mafia extracting a fee for 'not' beating you up? With the DNC List the GOVERNMENT KNOWS WHO these violators are. They COULD shut them down - BUT THEY DON'T. NOTICE HOW THEY **ALL** want to SELL you a product or service to 'stop' or 'block' these calls (AFTER you've gotten at least ONE of them at any given number, of course) OR **'PROTECT** Your Credit - but HAVE NOT LAUNCHED ANY INVESTIGATIONS or LOBBIED CONGRESS themselves to stop them on our behalf? CALL YOU PHONE COMPANY and **DEMAND** they investigate these numbers and STOP them; on threat of a LAWSUIT.
Call your CREDIT CARD COMPANY and DEMAND the same thing.
CALL ALL YOUR GOVERNMENT REPS and tell them You're gonna make it a VOTING ISSUE the next time their up for re-election.

Hangs up after 15 seconds. Also never leaves a message when my answering machine takes the call-hangs up in seconds. Calls weekely-sometimes daily. I am on Opt-Out list. 10/19/11

Received the first call from this number today at 11:31 p.m. in Kansas. See the number is a cell phone from Mizzoula, Montana. I did not answer as caller ID said Credit Services and this odd number so assumed it was a scam call. My answering machine picked up and there was a hangup before machine message was finished. I'm on a NO CALL list so assume that is why they do not leave a phone message. This was on my land line.

I think that there have been enough complaints that they need to be disconnected.

They called my cell which is an old land line number. I get calls like this all the time. If I don't recognize the number, I'm not wasting my time to call them back.

I pressed 6 somehow and someone with an accent came on the line; said he was with credit services or some such stuff. I told him to take me off their call list, basically screaming at him at this point. Jerks.

Recorded message about credit card; sounded like they were trying to get me to change to their credit card.

They robocalled my business and the recording claimed they were "Accounting Department" offering a reduction on my credit card interest rate of as little as (more than my current interest rate) and that I should press "1" now, because my eligibility is soon to expire.

This is a phishing scam. They did not announce what company they work for nor advise me to call my bank or look on the appropriate website. They did not know who I was or even what place they called. If you get this call - well, you're on this website so obviously you are pretty savvy. :) Congrats!

Got this ROBOCALL from "Heather" offering to lower my credit card rate to as low as 6%. Didn't ID company calling nor which CC they want to talk about. For some reason lately I've been getting a lot of robocalls.

I just got a call from this number and they claimed to be calling from my "credit card" (very vague, didn't identify which company) and that they wanted to offer me a lower interest rate and that this was my final notice. They wanted me to talk to somebody in order to do so by pressing 1 or press 2 to stop further calls. I didn't bother talking to somebody and pressing 2 was probably not the best idea. Either way, this is clearly a scam so do not give them any information. Your credit card will not call you to offer a lower interest rate in this way. They will adjust your interest rate without calling you.

We received a call from this number this morning on the cell phone. I answered, there was dead air. I called this number back, and a voice recording said,"thank you for calling back. If you are not interested in our special services, and wish to be placed on a do not call list, please press 1." I pressed 1 to not be called again. It's a credit service.

I clicked 1 to get a person. Asked specifically what credit card company they are calling from. They said Card Services, we can lower your rate, blah, blah, blah. I asked which card specifically are you referring to? He then said the two Visa cards I have and said if I have a balance over $2500 I can lower my rate and asked if I had a balance that high. Told him I wasn't interested and to remove my # - he hung up on me.

Please contact your local FEDERAL Congress people and demand these criminals be stopped. The phone companies can stop this with a flip of a switch.

Yes, this "caller" seems to be a con. Has gotten our numbers and some information from some other source which makes their calling disturbing as well as annoying. I agree with other people reporting this number--file a complaint with the FTC about them. Not that the federal government will help, but...

I see the DNC registry does not work! I get these jerks on my cell phone too! The robo voice states from the beginning..."Wait...don't hang up... " which I abruptly end after listening to my voice-mail that I pay for! My caller ID screens my call so I never talk to these cretins, but after countless spammers calling all day long, my caller ID is filled up by these lowlifes and the wanted numbers from before are deleted!!

I am on the DNC list. I've been getting calls from these folks about once a month for the last year. I don't have touch tone so can't respond to their recording to be removed from their list. I tried calling their number from a different and was given the option to be removed from their list by pressing "1" which of course removes the number I was calling from, not the one that was called.

You have no rights or expectations of rights.
The law was changed to allow people like this to fake both their # and caller ID.
The phone company told me "If you do find a way to stop them, let us know."
While it is supposedly illegal to use fake ID to commit a crime, I have yet to see anyone in authority who ACTUALLY cares.
DO NOT GIVE OUT ANY INFORMATION OVER THE PHONE TO ANYONE.

I'm on the DoNotCall list. No one on the line when I answered. Called them back and a recording thanked me for calling back. Gave option to be removed from their list. We'll see if that actually works. Will also report them to Montana AG office.

9:30 AM PST: I received a call from this unrecognized number. They hung up without leaving message.

Called the office (before 9 AM) - since I know all Montana numbers that come into the office are bogus, I just picked it up and hung up. Next time I might just be silent and see if anyone comes on the line, that always wastes their time too. :o)

Call your state's Attorney General office or check online. They usually have a "no call" violation procedure and actually pursue and fine these morons.

He tried to get me to give him my credit card number. I asked him to give it to me first. He said he had to verify that he was speaking to the right person. I told him good-bye.

Because it's not that easy to corral the credit reprice scammers, Private. The FTC bumped off a few of ''Rachel's'' boiler rooms last year, but they need your complaints to them and attorneys general to continue the momentum.

I am on the national DNC LIST. This is an illegal call. If you are getting so many reports on this why can't it be stopped and the caller penalized?

The usual ROBO call: "This is Heather with Account Services...." offering some credit card % reduction scam. Reported to DONOTCALL.gov as usual. Which I could do something else to stop these bastards from using up my cell minutes!

Said they were from my credit card company without mentioning a name and offered to lower my interest charge to 6.9% if I pressed 1. I hung up and blocked them from future calls

JunkCall: Please stop spamming this site. If I want to find other caller sites I can do that myself. Yours is hideously ugly, badly laid out, it slows my browser, sets cookies all the time, shows a poor command of English in its rambling headers, and its content appears to have been lifted wholesale from 800Notes.

They didn't leave a message, but I have no credit issues so it's bogus.

This is apparently yet another number attributed with the "Credit Services" scam. They don't honor the Do Not Call List, and it's not worth calling back the number.

Automated call from Account Services when you press 1 to talk to a live person to tell them to stop calling as you are in the Do not Call List, they rudely hang up. Nice! Caller ID showed "Procedures"

A robo call from "account services" stating that there was nothing wrong with my card but I need to talk to them...blah, blah, blah...and I hung up.

More credit card scams. I don't pay any interest on my cards and for sure don't need it lowered.

Call from Credit Card Services of Orlando Florida. Employee identified their location. They claim to work with all credit cards and they named quite a few of the big names. When I asked if they were part of those companies, he stated no, but they work with those companies, which basically means nothing. I have received numerous calls from these scam artists. I don't have credit cards, so not sure where they got my name.

Rings 3x's hangs up. Calls about once a month 3-4 days and gives up. Another loser who can't get a real job.
