I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message on answering machine. I am really getting tired of people calling that I didn't give my number to. I get at least 5 unidentified calls every day at various times. It doesn't matter if you tell them to take you off "their list" and I shouldn't be on any lists to begin with. So annoying!

I was called twice today. The first time I heard a horn blow and an automated voice saying I can get a free cruise if I answer 10 questions. The 2nd time I kept pressing zero and a woman operator answered saying I won a cruise. I asked to be removed from the call list. She kept repeating (Right right right right right..) Kind of pathetic.

Got a call just now, 8:23 pm and when I answered I immediately heard a buzzing noise. I hung up right away. What now? How do these people get our unlisted number???

Automated, said I won a cruise to the Bahamas. Ten questions: 1. Male or Female? 2. Age group 3. Do you have health insurance? 4. What type of internet do you have? 5. What type of television do you currently have 6. When was your last television purchase? 7. Do you use major credit cards of write checks? 8. Is your vehicle under factory warranty or do you have an extended warranty? 9. Are you a homeowner? A live person tried to take my name, address, and phone number.

I got the call today and I asked why I won and who is giving me this trip and they say they can't tell me. I said I wouldn't want to accept something like this without knowing where thee tickets are coming from.

Call came in at about 10 am pacific time. Calling the number from my cell phone results in a repeating message that the number or code dialed is incorrect. We have had our phone number for about two weeks (it's unlisted and unpublished), and we just added the paid-for phone company service that tells telemarketers to remove our number from their list.

I got a phone call saying i cound win 2 tickles if i anwser 10 question i was happy to hear that i was having a very bad day that turned things up right for me until today when i looked up the phone number they called from i was so upset somebody should do something about this they are doing nothing but playing with people how would like it if somebody did that to them something needs to be done

I got one call today so far. I heard the whistle blow on a ship and an automated voice saying I won a free cruise and I hung up without listening to the rest. When I asked to be removed before it didn't happen. I agree with everyone else here, it is kind of pathetic.

automated message about getting 2 free boarding passes only reason i picked up was because it said it was a cellular call these scammers are getting creative

I picked up the phone and it was just dead air. I think they got TeleZapped.

I have received numerous calls from this number. Each time, an recording prompts me to answer questions to receive a free Nassau cruise. I answered each question with a "#" and was put on hold for an operator. When she finally answered, she asked for my name as I wanted it on my boarding pass. I told her that she could not have my name, and that she was to remove my number from the calling list. She claimed "we don't have your number." and hung up on me.

same as others. unavailable. i agree with eva. and why should we have to go through the trouble of calling up each one of these 100's of annoying telemarketing numbers when we didn't ask to be put there in the 1st place!

as part of the scammers punishment, IF they ever get caught they should be required to call each number at whocalled.us on this list and tell them to remove everyone from their lists permanently. yeah, right like that's gonna happen but we can hope...

Called and when my answering machine answered, they left no message. Must not have been important!

These folks have been calling my fax, then my office phone, back and forth, over and over. The last 4 digits of my business fax are xxx(n), and of the the office line is xxx(n+1). The lesson learned is when opening a new business and selecting phone numbers, while sequential numbers are theoretically easier for customers to manage, it also makes it easier for scumbag "researchers" to harass you as they work down the sequentially numbered list of victims.

I just received my new phone number and I didn't give it out to anyone, not even my boss. Within 24 hours this number was calling me and has been ever since, twice a day. Yep, very annoying!!

01/10/08 - 3:45pm - this call with the stinking boat whistle, boarding pass whatever else crap
01/10/08 - 8:45pm - Freeuom Voice called w/news about my credit card & debt...WHAT?!?!
Someone please tell me how any company/organization/or otherwise can earn the right to call my home after I took every possible measure to ensure that couldn't happen. Something is very wrong with this shady corner of society. I wonder what George Bush or Paris Hilton or Barbara Walters would do...surely they have the same problem, right?

Check your caller I.D. If you don't know the number DON'T answer! If you don't accept the call maybe they will waste money somewhere else!!!

Received call at 8:13pm, I answered and said hello several times, and then it sounded as if the other person hung up.....

Recalled the number, and a recording said "the number or code is incorrect, please the the number and try again". I did several times, but received the same recording.

For all you people who are wondering how they got your unlisted numbers -- they didn't. Operations like this typically use an automated dialler that sequences through area codes and prefixes until they get a connection. After that connection ends, the system moves on to the next number. If you're on the Do Not Call List, they're _supposed_ to block your number. Whether they do...???

They now called to Canada. I was so silly to answer their questions. Thank you for all your emails folks! They are clear my head and I will never pick up the calls from unknown number!

They just called and told me to come to this website. How interesting. I guess it is true nothing is free. They did not ask for my credit card # thank God.

They phoned me and I was so excited about a free cruise! I gave them my name however when I checked the caller id it did not reveal that a called had been made. This is kind of scary I hope I didn't give out to much information. I should have known it was to good to be true. Who get's something for nothing. I should have known better.

I am always skeptical of so called "offers" because its very rare to find ANYTHING free. But I got the call and answered survey questions then immediately looked it up online.SCAM. enough said. Sad thing is they called my work and was so called "fishing" for people since i had not given this number out. just be careful and politely or if you would like (as my roommate would do) act like she was sobbing when she answers the phone or start singing at the top of her lungs to never call back. good luck.

i got the smae message and survey from the "this is your captain speaking" people. they asked about how i pay my groceries, our diabetic history and other totally unrelated crap. and i logged in too and saw that it wouldnt let me because the lady on the phone also misquoted my city and then hung up before i could correct her

I used search terms: 'cold calling Nasau survey' on Google and the top of the listings was a site that gave all the phrases used before I hung up... except no reference to repeated use of a foghorn sound with the spoken words but this may have been added recently to put people in the mood for a cruise by some marketing whiz-kid. The man who put this information on the Internet is a real credit to the effort needed to put this kind of racket out of business, presumably by changes to existing legislation which is needed as we become part of the 'Global Village'. I will add a local warning to my Neighbourhood Watch News Letter. I am registered in the UK not to receive cold calling however there is a loophole that international cold calling is exempt and this company amongst others makes full use of that loophole. Come on International Legislators, the game has alrewady moved on, you need to catch up! Preston Lancashire England.

i just got a call and when i answered my phone they asked me a bunch of questions about squirrels... after about 45 mins i got kinda tired of it thats when they asked me to take my pants off, i was kind of hesitant at first, but they said it was for research.. it was kind of wierd even after that the phone call got muffled and i couldnt understand what they were saying, all i made out was yess ohh and a slapping kind of noise, i guess they work really hard over there and have to multitask alot so its hard to get these interviews done. The call ended after i heard a faint moan and a voice saying "Mr bush, your wanted downstairs" ... i still want my boat cruise

I answered the survey out of curiosity... now they called me back saying i won a cruise, etc, etc... and finally, the real question popped out: "you have a credit card number?". duhhhh that guy must think i'm an idiot to answer him. when i told him i wouldn't give it, he started coughing, increasingly.... until he hung up.

I tried to look up the freeimperialcruise.com addresss they gave to me after I immediately got suspicious when they asked me for my zip code, unfortunately I gave them that information as well as my real name/but no address.
I thought they claimed this to be "an all expenses paid cruise for two people and wanted to know whose name to put it under, it did unfortunately obtain my real name sortof , I changed the end of my last name, now what will they ask me to pay? grateful I am not alone, cathy
