403 is in Canada. Lame attempt to skirt US laws.

'Card Services' again, known flagrant DNC list violator and financial scam gang, typical modus operandi is to claum they can get you a lower interest rate. Original head of so-called company went to jail, a related gang that uses the same tactic and in fact may be the same one offers 'auto warranties' and other matters.

Agents are often rude, one when asked for a supervisor said 'No, F*** you'. This gang often uses illegal prerecorded messages as well, that is in violation of the law also, whether you're on the DNC list or not.

This number called again, exactly two months after their first call. This time, they left a message on the answering machine similar to the one that Mark received (see his comment from June 13). It states that this is your final chance to lower your credit card interest rates and/or reduce your credit card debt before your file is closed and sent to collections. So, they encourage you to take advantage of their services before it's too late.

Well, it should be obvious that this is a scam. Only a complete fool would provide them with any personal information or give them any money.

Delivered recorded message: "This is your final courtesy call before we close the file on your..." (cut off when dialer sensed it was "talking" to an answering machine.

This number has called a couple of times today. So far, it has left only a few clicks and dead air on my answering machine.

Looking for info on Google shows little information, other than the fact that several others have received calls with the same results (i.e. dead air or clicks).

How do I stop them from calling?

  1. Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
  2. If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the FTC.
  3. Block them with a call blocker:
