"They call from a company by the name of Eastern Research Services. Their president is Kean Spencer and number is 610-543-0575 Ext. 306.

Call his office often, tell the voicemail you are taking a research on the kind of phone call he likes. He'll probably get the message."

We were receiving calls even after 9 p.m. I called the number 402-982-0757 and left our home phone number on their option to have us removed from their call list. Phone recalling said it would take up to 48 hours to be removed. When we still received a call after the 48 hour period, I called again, left a request to be removed again and additionally left a voice message recording (it's an option) indicating that I had left a request twice. They've stopped calling now.

They've called multiple times each night after 8pm. I have ignored it till now, but tonight they called twice THREE MINUTES APART around 8:30 pm when my young boy is (or was) asleep. Long delay when I picked up, then someone mumbled several times and would not respond when I asked them to please stop calling here.

I received 3 calls this evening within a 2 hour period of time. The same was true yesterday and the previous day as well.

Called and asked am I Mr. Gonzales, Then hung up. Annoying

have been called by this # too many times to count.... called the president as was noted in a previous post that had his number and ext. asked to have my number removed from their list or I would be calling his number constantly.... if we all call him and fill up his mailbox he might get the idea... although I doubt it after viewing his photo in an article they have in the news section of their web site.... he looks like he was a bully in school.

Received multiple calls from this number. I said that I was on the do not call and they said that they were not selling blah blah blah. I told the guy to remove me from their list as this call was unwanted. They called the next day. I called the number and supposedly they will remove my number (i used an automated feature). Also, registered with the do not call list. These people should be warned in a not so friendly way.

I received a call on 6/20/2010 during the evening hours from the same number. Since I did not recognize the number, and Caller I.D. did not list it, I did not answer it. No message was left by this caller. I am sure it is like the rest and it's a Survey Caller.

Got a call at 9:15 last night. I don't like to hear the phone after 7 pm. After 9 I was mighty pissed off. Young man asked for someone in the house over the age of 18. Said there was no one hear to talk to and please don't call again. He said he had to because a survey was already started (that never happened!) I told him in no uncertain terms not to call back and take me off your list!

I have threatened to sue them, i have asked them nicely, I have cussed them out. They call 2-3 times a day harassing me to take a survey. I don't want them calling and I have told them to stop immediately. I am also registered with the national do not call list. Not to mention the company calling has a do not call list and I have done it several times. I was hung up on today as I told her to stop calling me. I am getting sick and tired of it. Waisting my minutes and time.

I've been getting 1 or 2 calls daily with a computer recording about an energy survey. Someone called my house phone today, July 1, 2010, at 12:59. I didn't answer because I was on the cellphone with a call I needed to stay with. Later, I did a "Star 69" (I do not have Caller ID) and it came up with 402-982-0757. I believe I am registered on the National Do-Not Call list - I'll have to recheck. I filed a complaint with the FCC the other day about another phone number that has been calling. Check out the FCC website, or Google some key words like "phone call complaint." Who has time for this nonsense? If enough people file FCC complaints maybe we can get even.

They called twice today, once around 4pm which I did not pick up ... then at 9:03pm which really pissed me off. Two kids sleeping so it is down time. Told them to take me off the list, some bitch ass kid tells me he does not have to. I simply told him to fucking suck a dog dick. Called back and left a nasty message with them ... next time they call I will put some porn on and set the phone by the TV.

This company is Eastern Research Surveys. They are protected by the rules of the FCC because they are not telemarketers and are conducting a survey only. If they ever try and sell anything during their survey they would then be restricted by the FCC do-not-call rules. So far, I don't think they've tried selling anything. Good news is they supposedly offer a do-not-call list you can be placed on by entering your phone # at website: easternresearchsurveys.com Hope this helps people out.

They called and I agreed to take their survey. It was mostly about economic conditions in this area, my perspective on it as well as that of the nation. They also wanted to know about debt (particularly mortgage and credit card). They also asked me to judge my own levels of knowledge in various aspects of financial managemnt. I told him I needed to hang up but he said there were only a couple of questions left. I eventually hung up after answering 8 more questions. I feel this survey could have lasted all night if I continued to answer questions.

Some East Indian sounding dude called my house looking for this person that does not live here. I have been at this number for 4+ years. Stay tuned.

In this last week I have received about 3 or 4 calls a day between the hours of 6p.m. & 8PM. Even when we tell them we do not answer surveys they keep on calling. To me this is harrasement. It's making us very nervouis. Is'nt there a government agency that we can report them? Something has to be done.

I told them I'm not interested, but they keep on calling. They are very annoying.

these assholes call me 6-8 times a day and it getting rather annoying. im at the point of wanting to file harassment. i get the same calls over and over again and they ask for michael. im like ok there isnt a michael here. well when will he be there? um i said there wasnt a michael here. well is your father home. i said no my father died (wich is true and the guy got real quiet) and then he asked for michael again and i just hung up

THESE JACKASSES CALLED FIVE TIMES. ON THE FIFTH CALL I PICKED UP AND THEY ASKED ME TO ANSWER A BANK SURVEY OR SOMETHING. I TOLD THEM NOT TO CALL AGAIN.

Been calling my house for days, I finally answered and agreed to take a survey.
1st question was "what best describes your ethnic background, white caucasion, hispanic, african american etc....."
When I answered "white caucasion" I was told no more questions for me !!
When I asked why they only wanted minorities answering their questions I was told "That is what the computer says" ! I gave them an ear full and told them to never call my house again and demanded they take me out of their data base.

I received a phone call from this number twice this evening and once from 202-534-3124 all with the Caller ID of ER Surveys. I let it go to voicemail twice and on the third time, I got fed up, picked up the phone and got their "automated dialing" noise that was connecting me to someone. The person on the other end of the line asked to speak with my husband (called my husband by name). I told them they could not, but asked who was calling, they said they were Eastern Research Surveys. When I asked them politely to remove our number from their calling list, the kid on the phone told me that he couldn't do that without my husband's permission, since it was HIS name they had on their list. When I pressed further to say that it is MY house and MY phone number as well, he said it didn't matter. He needed my husband's permission to remove our phone number. I find that a bit disconcerting, since there are other people who live in this house and have to live with the phone ringing...despite the fact that my husband might not be home at the time to tell them himself (when I know full well that he would completely agree with me).

I found this site: easternresearchsurveys.com that I put my phone number into and it said that it should be removed within 48 hours. Hopefully it will work!

Calls leaves no message comes up as ER Surveys this is the 3rd time and we are on the "SO CALLED" DNC list...what a laugh

Called me 3 times in the last couple of days. Picked up the second time. Butchered my name too! Wanted me to do a survey, I said No and hung up. They called back 2 days later.

Answered the call, got a noise that usually means that the call was automated, and is redirecting. Then after about 5 seconds, an unidentified male butchers my last name which is perhaps one of the most easily pronounceable words even for someone who's not a native speaker of English. If you can't take the .5 seconds to correctly pronounce my name, that raises red flags. When he asked if he could speak with me, I just said "nope."

Receive a call and nobody talk, then hang up

These people call every day after dinner. The few times I picked up the phone there was no one on the other end. I want to tell them to take me off their list and stop calling.

This number has appeared on my ID as both "service announcement" and "ER surveys". Other bboards on ER surveys reveals that it's a pain in the a**.

Calls throughout the day. Even had the gall to call after 10:00 PM.

No answer when phone picked up

Received a call from them again. Seems they call daily around 4:00 pm my time. I asked them kindly to please stop calling.

caller ID shows "Omaha NE" and the one time I answered the caller said he was "uhhhhh doing a short uhhhhhh survey." When I said I don't respond to calls like that when the caller ID doesn't list the company name, he said "uhhhhhh, it's just a short survey" but declined to give more info. Since then we have gotten multiple calls, daily, all hangups.

multiple calls, i never answer, thought it might be related to us census since they just hit the neighborhood. not sure. any info would be appreciated.

Said they were from Roper (sp?) Research. They claimed to be doing a survey on drug awareness or some related topic. They wanted to know the number of kids in grades 7-12, age 12-17, total adults, adults 18-24 which seemed like bracketing but ok. Then they'd hit certain groups and ask for exact ages at which point I balked. Then they went into the bracketing again and then got back to the exact age. I laughed and said we already went here and I wasn't giving the exact ages. We went a bit back and forth and I asked who was asking for the survey and who gets the info. They gave the nebulous "we're just an agency that conducts surveys" so I replied to put down the answer that says that I won't give an exact age. A bit more of that and they just hung up. Fine. Don't call back.

I took the survey. I wanted to see what they were up to. They were asking me about my opinion on illegal drug use and my knowledge on the different types of illegal drug use in my state (HI). Mostly Meth and if the TV ads are making an impact. The thing that got me was when they wanted my personal info and my income bracket. They also wanted my name and address. I'm not going to do anything that may put my family at risk so I gave them bogus info. They said they wanted my name and address so they could send me a $5gift certificate. I don't want it. Who evergets it can keep it. :)

Same scam, the bot calls, when they get a live voice some boilerroom kiddie picks up. called me twice in same day.

I think that the company is CITISTREAM COMMUNICATIONS, INC. , which makes outbound calls for other companies or organizations. I usually pick up the phone, let them go through their script, then tell them to wait that someone is at my door. I set the phone down, and come back about 5 min later and hang it up. That usually gets them to quit calling! ;)
