Some UNAVAILABLE number keeps harassing us for a LONG LONG time. This morning, some unavailable number called again, and it was identified as (402) 982-0721. I wonder whether it is them who has making our lives unbearable for a long time?

Anyway, I do NOT wish to receive any calls from them. I have no idea who they are. I am on the DO NOT CALL LIST. I do not need any help/advise with my credit cards (I am just FINE). STOP calling me %&$%&!

MD resident, whom you called at 9:53 today.

Call from "Heather at Account Services". "??" showed as caller on my phone. This call comes in every few days. I'm reporting them to the FCC at esupport.fcc.gov

Prerecorded call from "Heather at Account Services" but the caller ID identified them as "Credit Services". Pre-recorded message said that "there WASN'T a problem with our account but that it was EXTREMELY urgent that we call them right now in order to lower our interest payment." I didn't listen to any more of their pitch after that. Note: prerecorded calls are illegal and their name in the message wasn't the same as the name that caller id showed. Since we don't carry a credit balance, their "service" wouldn't be of interest to us. But since they didn't know that it clearly shows that they're just shotgunning for suckers, Oops, I mean "customers". File complaint with FCC/FTC AND your local Congress Critters since the FCC/FTC won't do anything.

Received a call from this number. A recording stating they could lower my interest rate and if I didn't respond, it would be my final offer. I pressed 1 to speak to a person, person came on the line and I couldn't understand. I asked person who they were trying to contact? Then guess what....person hung up! BEWARE!

2009-10-26 18:17:13 UTCjcr

It was a recorded message about my credit card account. It didn't say which account. It was an offer to lower my interest rate. It said it was my final notice to act on it. it gave the option to press 2 to avoid further notices. The whole thing seemed bogus to me, but I pressed 2 before hanging up.

This is a rather long recorded message promising an Credit Card interest rate of about 7%. They promise this is the last chance to respond, then the offer will go away. We'll see if they keep their promise.

I stop the calls like this one by using a phone company service called Call Screening. It allows me to block phone numbers individually.

they call and leave no messages.

Go to DoNotCall.gov and File a Complaint -- EVEN if you are NOT on the Do Not Call list currently you can still file a complaint -- why? They're using a recorded message at the beginning of the call.

Heather with credit card services spamming.

2009-10-14 21:11:53 UTCJD

It was Heather about my credit card. Nothing wrong but to contact them about lowering my interest rate. I use to get these out of Florida every day about a year ago. I don't know how many time to take me off their list. I was told then it was a SCAM. Can anyone get them to STOP!

saysy they want to lowert my VISA interes...I don't have a visa...nor is one reported on my credit report.

How do I stop them from calling?

  1. Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
  2. If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the FTC.
  3. Block them with a call blocker:
