Who Called Us

On my ID it says Health Benefit .I have not call any insurance company so I think this is a bill collecter. I see everyone else saying something else on their ID.

I too would like to leave a similar message. I am the President of Interviewing Service of America or ISA. We have a software product called Opinion One. However, we are NOT the company using that name doing robocalls! We do not do Robocalls with Opinion One. NEVER! The company doing these calls is adding and changing number constantly and using legimate company's names, like our's and Keller Fay Group to do their unsavory business. Once again ISA is in no way related to whoever is making these robocalls!

I am the CEO of the Keller Fay Group and wish to make clear that the information provided here saying my firm is the parent company of whoever is making these calls is not true. We have no relationship to them.

No voice .. nothing but when I called back, there was a recording stating that too many calls were made from this number (mine) and the number was now blocked. If only I could block these jerks

Call the 866 toll-free number at the end of this message and POLITELY ask to have these calls stopped. I did, was forwarded to a fellow who's responsible for Citistream's clients (which is the actual caller, not Citistream). He asked for the 402 number, my number, and assured me he'd handle it.

The National Do Not Call List is a federal law. Most federal laws are broken by someone sometime. The orgs that don't give a $#!+ will call you anyway instead of going through the trouble of reconsiling lists.
There is a complaint link on the donotcall.gov site. I can't verify the gov does anything, but I would think after many complaints on one number, they will go after them.

Phone rang twice, answered and no one their. Likely a computer call. Searched and searched for ownership and found affiliation with Media Matters, a liberal George Soros funded organization.

What's the point of the Do Not Call List? I'm on it but these people still call. Do Not Call List is like having a de-barked and toothless guard dog.

Missed the call, tried to call cack but it has an odd message that I've called this number too many times. They don't ned to worry, I won't call again. We did get an earlier message about lowering interest rates, my husband was dumb enough to press two to be removed, I told him that just sends our number on to other autodialers.

I got the same thing about calling too many times. They've called me twice. What do they wanna do now? Tea parties were a flop. Palin's bogus claim of injury by Letterman is a flop. What do they want outta me?

I have received two calls from this number. I have actually answered because they call on my business phone and I have clients nation-wide. This is a pre-recorded message concerning the Tea Parties (sp). I tried to call back to get on the Do Not Call list and another pre-recorded message said that because I had called THEM so many times that my number was blocked from calling them. What a mess.....

I just got this call this afternoon on TUE JAN 09 2009 @ 12:45 PM CDST. It was some recording about something pertaining to a Tea Party?

I got a automated voice saying:

"Americans, are you aware of the tea parties taking place around the country? Please take notice today." Then it disconnected. I don't what the calling organization was or whether it was for or against the tea parties.

I have been getting the Press 1 to renew your car insurance, or 2 to be removed from our list calls for months. Trace shows they come fom Florida, or Virginia. At 730AM and 9PM. Weekends too. I have been added to the do not call list TWICE in past and they still called. I RE entered it again 2 weeks ago. Those calls (I don't know why) seem to have stopped, BUT I just got a call saying America wake up to the new tea party, or some such rhetoric and then the hang up. Trace shows 402 982-0647 listing. When will it end? NONE of us need this torment. Who pays for this? Suppose they want to say things that are pornographic, or racist, or ? Does a congressman have to be called for it to end? Report to this, or that? FOR WHAT. They know already. It isn't the call. It's WHO gets get it.

After we talked to him he registered three telephone numbers of ours with DO-NOT-Call registry. We have not received any telemarketing calls for the past 10 days.

If you have not registered your telephone with the DO-NOT-CALL REGISTRY, telemarketing firms can keep calling you. No point getting hassled and calling telephone companies or carriers who own the telephone numbers. Carriers do not have have control on how their telephone service is being used as long as a customer pays the bill. Carriers cannot disconnect or shut down a customer who is paying the bill. Only regulators has authority to shutdown or disconnect a customer through an order. Don't blame the carrier who own the telephone number. Plus carrier cannot give customer information unless it is a supeona issued by regulatory authority.

Telemarketing firms obtains hundreds or thousands of telephone numbers from various carrier within US and initiate calls. Hope this understanding help all of you who are getting these calls. Currently regulators are working with the carriers trying to find the source on which telemarketing firms is making these unwanted calls. For the record they know these calls are not coming from telephone company who officially own the telephone numbers.

Citistream Communications is a telephone service provider and does not make solicitation calls. Telephone company does not have control on who makes a call and what is said or displayed on the caller ID.

Telemarketing firm use telephone services from a number of telephone services providers within US for undertaking telemarketing campaign. Telemarketing firms or their customer make the calls. Found out Citistream is a telephone carrier and does not make any calls.

Came to know one of it's customer TMcallerid.com has been assigned some of these numbers. TMcallerID or their customers are telemarketing firms making these calls.

You should call TMCallerID directly and complaint. TMcallerID # 503-327-8183

I ask because shortly after being laid off, I started getting these damn calls. Out of nowhere, I started getting them. I'm thinking either they are buying or somehow extracting numbers from state employment services or they are getting these numbers from big job boards where I've posted my resume.

Rang 3 times at 2:22 PM on a Monday they hung up and I got a dial tone. Caller ID said "service announcement". What is the point of this?

two rings hung up as I answered

These type of calls annoy the hell out of me.I'm disabled and I don't need this.

They have called several times on our land line and hang up when we answered.
we no longer answer it. It said service announc on id but get a recording that the number is no longer in service when you try to call it back. Next time they call I am going to try and answer it on the first or second ring and hold down the #5 on the dial, it gives a loud buzz like a fax machine.

Both of our landlines (sequential numbers) rang at the same time and then hung up after ringing twice. The same phone # and the name "Service Announc" appeared in both caller IDs. Both of our #s are on the Do Not Call Registry. We haven't got a clue who it might be. The number in caller ID is phony. Several attempts to call them indicate the number is "not in service" or "cannot be completed as dialed".
They called my Home. Time of call:11:43 am.

Here in TX 972 area code: I answered at about the 2nd ring, automated voice saying to participate in a survey press 1. I pressed 0, it hung up.

Caller ID said Service Announcement- I'm sure it's just a way to get you to answer your phone. I called it back..surprise! Number not in service. It's a SCAM.
Just ignore it- they EVENTUALLY go away.
