Omaha Steaks? Thanks to these calls, I will NEVER order from them again. Same reason I seldom buy from Sears. TOO MANY follow up calls. Last time I bought from Sears, I told the salesman that if I got even 1 follow up call, I would never set foot in the place again. It worked.

I am getting these calls twice a day and although i have used Omaha Steaks this will cause me to stop.

They call me randomly... sometimes 3 or 4 times a day, other times once then not again for awhile... it's just annoying

They blew up my phone for past week calling twice/even three times a day and don't leave me a message. I called back and customer service said it was their "OUTBOUND" department. I asked if I could be removed from their calling list, and immediately she very nicely put me on their "Do not call" list. NOT COLLECTION- Just want to call and sell you their new "deal".

I did not have a problem when this number called me around 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 at night... but last night they called after 9pm, when I was asleep. This ANGERED ME. I was woken up by this number, and they did not leave a message. If this is Omaha Steaks, I am NOT impressed and they will NOT get a re-order.

I too was receiving 3 to 4 calls from this number daily with a caller id of Omaha Steaks and no message ever left. I had ordered from Omaha Steaks recently and was quite annoyed that they had this type of selling practice. All I did was go to their web site and sent an e-mail to their customer service department explaining my annoyance and asking that they remove my number from their call list. They responded to my complaint and have assured me that my number has been removed. It's been 2 days and no calls, perhaps this will work. Now, if I could only get all the other nusance phone calls to stop.

You probably placed an order for Omaha Steaks and missed the fine print. They add you to their mailing and phone list with every order you make with them. While I find it ridiculous they need to call everyday, it is not too hard to stop them. Just call the number (402) 593-1707. A live Customer Service Operator will answer. Just let them know you would like your phone number removed from their call list. They are friendly and willing to help. The call takes 30 seconds.

This is Omaha Steaks. I bought form them twice and now I get calls weekly up to four times a day!

It is Omaha Steaks. They will call daily and never leave a message. I have been through this before. Call the number back and you get their automated answering service. Don't give them a phone number when you order.

This is a collection company – NOT Omaha Steaks. A collection company is using this number on the caller ID. If you, someone you know or your neighbor is having credit problems you will be getting a phone call from this number. Credit card companies and collection agencies skip trace delinquent customers and call their family, friends and neighbors a method of legal harassment. They skip trace addresses of neighbors and contact cell phone companies to get names phone numbers of recently called phone numbers. Personally, I think this should be illegal. If I call another person OR contact their utility company OR get names and phone numbers of neighbors OR contact their cell phone company to get them to provide me with recently dialed phone numbers I would go to jail for talking or harassment.

This is bizarre. I'm getting lots of calls from Omaha Steaks. I love their product, they don't have to do this. They're hurting their business.

I am NOT exaggerating when I say that I receive a MINIMUM of 4 calls a DAY. My number is on the national DO NOT CALL list. How are they able to keep calling? I will NEVER buy anything from them again.

Very aggravating. Used to call every night but now we know to look for it and don't answer. This caused the calls to reduce dramatically- about twice a month.

One order and then non-stop phone calls from Nebraska

I checked the number here / saw the note to email custserv@omahasteaks.com / did this and received an apology & we will remove your number reply in about 30min time / we also ordered from Omaha Steaks a few months ago

These people have been calling for over 3 years, sometimes twice a day.

Don't bother, you can get better meat than theirs at Winn Dixie.

Received 6 calls in 2 1/2 days (today isn't over). I have ordered from Omaha a few times, but if they don't stop calling, I will write to the president informing him that they've received the LAST order from me.

it came up "omaha steaks" on the caller Id at work. when I answered the woman said she just needed to verify my shipping address for steaks that were ordered. I said she had the wrong number...no one ordered steaks from this company. she then tells me its a gift from someone else to us. I asked who it was from, she said she can't tell me over the phone...I have to wait to receive the package and it'll say on the invoice. I told her if she can't tell me who its from, she can keep her steaks.

It is Omaha Steaks and they wanted to do a survey with me about a recent purchase. They call at least three times a day.

Ordered Steaks this Christmas now I get a call at work every day and numerous emails a day. What a misteak!

I've read on other sites that this could be Omaha Steaks. I'm thinking it is possible since I've purchased from them recently. I have some items on order, but I would think that if they really need to 'speak to me' they'd leave a message, and that never happens.

Omaha steaks has been told repeatedly not to call us and they didn't for like a year. Now they're starting up again. Guess it's that time where they think cold calling former customers around the holidays will make a sale. I've already told them that due to their sales tactics, I won't ever call them again and place an order. They just can't take a hint!

i am getting even. i have been hitting redial on my phone for about an hour and a half now. i let the phone sit while i watch tv and about every minute or two i hang up and hit redial.

Not 12 hrs later, I got another sales call this morning after being told that I was taken off the call list. They "say" that they'll take me off again....whatever! I told them that at this point, I'm NOT Interested in buying anything from them due to their pushiness & obnoxious phone calls.

I just called them to be removed from the call list & they tried to tell me that my number is not associated with MY name & there might be someone at this number that wants these calls! I told them that I googled and found 33 other irritated people getting sales calls from them and many agreed that they will not be ordering from such an obnoxious company. She obviously didn't seem to care but claims to be removing my name off the list.

Didn't know who this was until doing a google search & finding this site. I've ordered from Omaha before and they have called to try to make sales....now I'm irritated and won't order from them again...pushy people!!

I ordered from Omaha Steaks 1 yr ago and they won't leave me alone. They called me last night(Friday night at 8:45pm) I will never order from them again even if their steaks are good!

I love the steaks but unfortunately they will not stop calling my cell phone (# I used when i ordered). I have been getting calls off and on the past year, now this week been getting 2-3 calls a day. I keep telling them I prefer to shop online for the specials but they will not stop calling. I will never order from them again in fear my number will be hit even more.

Well, it seemed to have worked for now (see my message above). This is the first day in weeks we did not receive a call from Omaha Steaks. Apparently shouting a threatening message into the phone before they even get a chance to speak does the trick. This is the second time this has worked for me. This first time was with a Public Interest Group that called two to three times a day for a couple of months. Never answered or would slam the phone down before answering. I finally screamed the same message into the phone at them one night before they even said a word and we haven't gotten a call from them in close to a month now. Sometimes you just have to put your foot down and get nasty.

I got three calls today alone. They call every day. I ordered from them once, was unhappy with my order, they refunded my money, and now they harrass me every day and night. I never pick up. The third time they called tonight I finally picked up and screamed into the phone "DO NOT CALL HERE AGAIN OR I WILL REPORT YOU TO THE AUTHORITIES FOR HARASSMENT! I AM ON THE DO NOT CALL REGISTRY!" Then I slammed down the phone. Hope it works.

These people will not stop calling. I will never buy their steaks again.

Got two calls today. 9:25am, and 3:29pm. I have ordered from their sister company, Ala Zing, but that was a year ago. Never ordered from Omaha Steaks.

First call from this number so far. I ordered from Omaha Steaks about a month back. I hope this doesn't mean they'll continue calling like everyone else here says.

Telling them you are not going to buy is not how you get removed from the list. "DO NOT CONTACT ME BY PHONE; REMOVE ME FROM YOUR LIST" will get you removed.

They call almost every day. I've ordered from Omaha Steaks in the past as gifts for family. I have also told them not to call me, even with their unadvertised specials. If I want to order I'll do it on-line.

Even if you tell these guys to get you off the list (I went as far as saying that the steaks made me sick for a week) -- they still call. Any ideas on how to make them stop calling pls comment.

After getting 2 phone calls a day I called to be taken off their list. They said that they know about the problem and I will be taken of their list. We will see?????

i returned the call, it is Omaha steaks, I do order from them , I have been called 3 time in as many hours, if they want to keep my bussiness they will stop the calls...

it omaha with good deals if you answer and say no they will call you in 30 days if you don't answer they will call you everyday, you have to tell them to take you off there list

After receiving multiple calls from this number, without them leaving a message for the last 2 weeks, I googled the number and found this very helpful website. I then called the number and immediately asked them to put me on their "do not call" list. The woman was very polite and the process took only 1 minute.

Called the Customer Service # 1-800-329-6500 they were very polite and said they would take me off their phone list.

Yes. Omaha Steaks. These folks are relentless. I ordered on-line for a corporate gift and they now call my office constantly at all hours. It just shows "Nebraska" on the caller id. I told them to stop again today. We'll see.

I get 3-4 calls a day from this number. I answered one time and it is Omaha Steaks trying to sell me something. I told them Im not interested but they continue to call over and over.

Technically, it was legitimate. I had bought some meat from Omaha Steaks on a special offer that they had mailed me. Since I had given them my phone number they were calling to try to sell me more meat.

I was in the middle of cooking supper and it was an annoyance.

They are now on my 'do not buy list' I got what was advertised but it's all worthless crap.

I emailed them and told them about this website, and I got a rapid and polite response:

I have been getting phone calls from this number every day for the last month. I never answer and they never leave a message. I have been ordering from Omaha Steaks for years, but the calls just started last month.

I just got a call from this number on my cell phone, didnt make it in time to answer it and they left no message. I googled the number to see who it was and I found this website, I am sure that it is Omaha Steaks. I ordered from them for Christmas, if they continue calling they will lose my business also. I contact that phone number to take me off their call lists. I contacted Omaha Steaks to complain of the situation. If I get a good reply from Omaha Steaks excusing themselves about the disruption, I will report back to you.

I recently placed an order with Omaha Steaks for the 2006 Holiday Season. I am just now receiving the calls. 1/9 7:23p, 1/11 9:32a, 1/11 1:29p. At first I thought it was a wrong number since I don't know anyone in that area code, but after the third call I decided to "google" the number and stumbled upon this website.
