I have received at least 20 calls from this Flordia # 305-836-7371. A recorting says "don't be alarmed, this is your last chance to lower your credit card intrest rate" It is exactly what is happening to these other people listing. Report this to the Federal Govt. @ esupport.fcc.gov. I did and I feel a little better about the whole thing. At least I did something to help stop it for all of us. You should too!

I called this number (386-985-5500), and I got a recording that said the number had been changed, and I was givin 386-985-5467. So I called that number, and got a recording stating that this number has been changed to a non published number.
I say either be on the line, when I answer, or doen’t bother us.

Hey, I have been getting calls from this number and I finally decided to file a complaint with the FCC. Here is the link to their online complaint form: esupport.fcc.gov It is an easy form to fill out and I don't know of any other way to get these people to stop calling. I am on a no call list and all.

It's a Payday Loan Application Center. If you've ever applied for credit, I believe it's a small third party operation that tries to get you to get a loan through them.

Must have gotten the 30th call today offering to lower my credit card payments. Am on the DNC list. I can't imagine why they haven't busted these guys yet. Maybe they are trying to get enough evidence to successfully proscetute them for fraud, which incurs jail time, rather than just violations of the DNC law, which is mostly fines. I'll knock back a few whiskeys when I see this pathological criminal on TV taking the perp walk, just like when I saw Bernie Ebbers on TV being escorted into court by LE. Bernie was wearing handcuffs. Bernie is in the cooler right now.

Called at my work at a number that is unlisted and only been activated for 2 weeks. Also called my home number - I never get telemarketers calls!

These jerks keep calling from different numbers with the same canned message saying "Don't be alarmed" but this is your last chance to lower your... blah ... blah ... I have already reported these scum bags to FTC when they called me using (305) 836-7371. They are identified with LEVERAGE CONNECTIONS, INC (866) 646-8102 in FLORIDA. GEE, Florida, land of the other crooked Bush and fellow telephone solicitor scum bags. What a shocker.

Same thing here. I pressed one to speak to a representative "about lowering my interest rate" on some "account" (I was really going to chew their ass and tell them to stop calling) and it just rang and rang, then disconnected. I tried to call back and got the same messages.

On their previous calls I pressed 1 to talk to someone and hopefully irritate them when I tell them they have called a number on the Do Not Call Registry. They usually hang up. This time I pressed 2 to "discontinue further calls", their term. I've done that before and it seems to not do anything to cause the calls to end. During my one day telemarketing career our system let you know if you tried to call a DNC number and wouldn't let the call go through. This credit card company doesn't seem to give a rat's a** about following the law.

My caller ID says "FLORIDA" - It's an offer about lower interest rate. I have tried the automated removal system, and spoken with a rep (yes they hung up on me also).

It was an automated call which I didn't listen to. Like most everybody, I'm on the do-not-call registry. I blocked this #, and feeling rather impatient today, am also forwarding this to FCC. I think it actually does help.

Who is this and why are they calling? I didn't answer and they left no message.

They constantly call and I get a recording saying it's my last chance to save money on a warranty. It says to press 1 to talk to someone. When I do that I get a person and as soon as I ask to be taken off their list they hang up.

It is obvious that this scam is widely used, many telephone numbers used. No actions from FTC or anyone else, so they can rest easy using this number. They must be doing something to scam people. I'd sure never buy anything on the telephone, unless I made the call. Never buy anything from anyone being a telemarketer, or pleas made to donate to societies, or Good Neighbor groups. Anyone who commits to buying or donating is asking to be set up for more calls. So quit buying or donating on telephone. This crap has to stop somewhere.

They keep calling despite me assuring them that 1) we don't even own any credit cards 2) we are on DO NOT CALL 3) we have asked to be taken off their list.

I have now filled out 2 reports on them with our state attorney general's office on telemarketer violations. I urge you to do the same with your state.

i just got a call and i picked it up and they said if you want to reduse intrist rate on your account press one! so i press one and got some guy with music in tha background and they said somthing about master card and i yelled what account is this?????? and he fucking hung up on me! so i call it back and its dissconnected and said the number has been changed to 386-985-5460 and that number was out of servis too! bull shit if you ask me

no message on machine. i think they are randomly "pinging" numbers, which is illegal.

Don't bother trying to get your phone company to help, they will try to sell you "Privacy Manager". They will NOT investigate or assist with scammers. Best thing to do is not answer in the first place. When you do and when you press 1 or 2 or whatever, it identifies your line as a good working line. You will be called back after that.
OH, and don't call them bad names here, we are not the guy that called but others that have received the same calls. The DNC list obviously doesn't work at all.

When I inquired what the business name was, he just asked me if I was (name). When I said I was not (name). He then paused and said, "don't worry. You are not tall enough." and hung up on me.

They called today around noon. I never answer these things, but hubby didn't know - picked it up - it was a telemarketer selling a cheap-rate credit card -- even though we're on the do not call list! I hate these guys. :-(

I answered the phone and it was a recorded message about this being the last day for a lower interest rate on an account. they did not identify which business it was representing. I hung up when it asked me to select an option.

Google "American Debt Negotiators". That's the Florida-based scammer behind these calls, and they should be reported to the authorities as such.

You CANNOT report them using their fake name (Card services, etc.) or the fake information that they illegally place on your Caller ID, as this is a waste of your time because absolutely nothing will (or can) be done using this false information.

I've been recorded messages from this number letting me know I can lower my credit card rates (all my rates are lower 2%), when I call back to have them take me off their calling list I get a live person who then hangs up. This has to be some kind of scam

Been calling for weeks. Just an automated machine offering to reduce interest rate on a loan. Thats the only information. I dont even have a loan. I push the option to opt out of the offer. They still call back. Im on the DNC but you cannot file a complaint on these calls unless you know who the caller is.

Got a call today 10/24/08. Sounds like credit card fraud.

Really, I should disconnect the phone and the doorbell when my husband is home sick from work! He called me at work to tell me that he got a recording from this number saying to push "1" if he wanted to lower his interest rates (I would have hung up at the start of the recording, myself). He said he got a "black woman" who started talking a mile a minute. When he said he was confused as to what account she was referring to, she immediately hung up. He dialed *66 to get the phone number. I looked it up and got this site. I reported it, as we are on the Do Not Call list.

Apparently, it is some "company" trying to get your credit card information under the guise of "lowering your interest rates".

I got my first call from this number today. I answered it and an automated voice said something about last chance to reduce interest on my loan I don't owe anything. It said press 2 if you don't want to receive these calls and I did and hung up. I hope I didn't give those psychos any information by pressing #2

I am a musician and was in the middle of performing a song when my cell phone went off on vibrate. I came home and started to investigate the number and found this group of irritated people, just like me. I wonder what can be done about this?

Do Not Call list violator: Caller identifies herself as Carry Williams from Account Services. This is really Versa Debt. They want credit card numbers. A call back of the number gets a "new Number advisory: New number is " 386 985 5467

I received the call from a Weber Jewell, and when I returned the call I was directed to 3869855467. This number had been changed also to an unpublished number.

Same as all the other comments. Scary...Jewell Weber better quit calling me or they're gonna be real sorry! I have an unlisted # and am on the "do-not-call" list as well. I've got important friends in Florida so we'll see who wins this battle Jewell! You better be worried.........

I answered the 2nd call that I got today and pressed #1 to talk to someone (the calls are always the same recorded message about lowering your interest rates on your VISA card). They never give there name when they answer, normally when you ask for it they hang up on you. Last week I actually got a young man to tell me his name was Kevin and that their group was located in Atlanta, GA (who knows really) and eventually I got him to transfer me to a supervisor named Kimberly who hung up on me after I explained that I wanted them to stop calling me. Today the young man who answered gave the name of Steve after I asked several times. He told me he was calling from VISA Corporate. Then ,in my nicest and best customer service voice, I asked him to transfer me to a supervisor and he hung up on me. I notified my VISA credit card company last week about this so they could flag my account for possible fraud attempts & I recommend that everyone else do the same. By the way I did try calling the number back and of course got a recording saying the number had been changes to 386-985-5467 then I called that number and got a recording saying that it had been changed to a non-published number. Just an FYI, Ive also gotten calls from this same group with "Out of Area" displaying on the Caller ID with a phone number of 1-062-261-9053. That number of course is phony also, no area codes start with 0.

I have two phone numbers at my house & today I received a call on each line, within 1/2 hr of each other, from (386) 985-5500 Weber, Jewell (as appeared on my Caller ID). I've been getting these calls from this group for more than a month now. They have even called my cell phone number and I recently moved across the country and was getting them at my old location on my old telephone number too.

Called the number back 5 min after recieving call, they didn't leave a mssg on machine. Phone was answered by a very alert woman who claimed she was sleeping and I woke her up. VERY noisy in the background. Caller ID gave number but "unknown name"

Recieved a call from this person with number of(386)-985- 5500 at 10:32 am on 10/16/08. Returned the call and was told that the number had been changed since the call to 5467. Tried that number and was told that it was now a private number since the call was made. Someone sure is busy hiding their identitiy.Did not know that you could possibly make that many changes in less than 11 hrs.

Answered the call, got a recorded message. Thought I would play along to get more info. Pressed 1 as instructed to be connected to account services. Whenever I get calls like this, I report them. Go here: donotcall.gov I do not answer the call but go to google, enter the phone number and see what the call is. If it comes back as a telemarketer, pre-recorded message, etc. I report it. Enough people report it, the company gets a serious fine and, if they persist, shut down. Alway report these unsolicited calls...you are helping stop the annoyance for others as well as yourself! I reported this one this morning after also getting the call.

This number keeps calling too! At least 5 times! I told them to stop calling.
At first it is an automated voice that asks if you want to lower your interest rates on your credit card. Push 1 to lower rates. I push 1 and tell them I have no credit debt and the fist time they hung up on me. The next 4 times I told them to stop calling me. It is really ANNOYING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just got home and caller ID showed that I missed a call,and gave this name and number. This is like the 3rd time we've gotten a weird call. I spoke to a gentleman at our local FBI and he said that they get so many of these types of reports, they can't really do anything about it.
BUT,
there is something you can do... if you do receive a call and if you answer and notice that it's an automated message, immediately start pushing random buttons on your phone. The computer will get confused, think your phone number is bad, and delete it from their system.

I answered the call and was transfered to a live operator at a different number. When she spoke to me I told her to take our number off their list. And she hung up on me. I called the operator since the number on caller id was no longer valid and left a different. There is no active calling number. Was instructed by the operator to contact the better business burea.

I reported this to the FCC today. Calls are coming in non-stop. Caller ID states 'Florida Call'.

Was not home when call came in. Googled it to find it on this site and others.

I tried calling this number back and I got a message saying the number was changed. I tried the changed number and I got a message saying the subscriber has changed the number to "unpublished number."

I received a call toaday from Id caller says Weber Jewell, 386-985-5500. so I called the # back it said the # has been cahnge the new number was just 1 digit different so I called it and it said out of service or something to that affect.

This number has called my house several times. They called today and my mother answered to tell them not to call and we weren't interested. The girl (called herself Casey) on the other end got extremely rude and defensive when my mom started asking questions about her so called 'account services company' and why they were calling. How to we find out exactly who it is and stop them. It's obviously a scam.

After recorded robot pitch I had to press 1 to connect to a live person. She stated the company was "Account Services" from California, offering lower rates if Mastercard or Visa balances were presently carried at interest rates of 10% or more.

More than likely this is the Florida-based scam company American Debt Negotiators (just Google their name and see for yourself), and they should be reported to the FCC, FTC, Florida State Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services and your own state's Attorneys General office as such using the information provided on the web site heatherwithaccountservices.com.

They are breaking numerous state and federal laws with each and every call, including using fake Caller ID numbers, placing unsolicited, recorded advertisements on peoples home, work and cell phones (including ones on state and federal Do Not Call lists), making verbal threats, refusing to properly identify who they are, etc., etc.

I keep getting messages that this is "the last day for you to take action about extended warranty for your loan." I'll really be glad when it's my last day - (I don't have a loan???)

Connected with Rick and when I tried to question him about "Account Services" and who he was, he told me to stick it up my ass and "fuck you", then said he was hanging up. Scammers never give up. I filed a complaint with FCC, now looking for Florica AG to file complaint.

I get the same messages that the rest of the complaints here state. I filed a complaint with the
DNC (Do not call) website because I have been signed up with them for a year or two now. I am sick of the calls also. There are enough irritations in this world.

You can not call back the number. Calling (386) 985-5500 I received a message stating the number was changed to (386) 985-5467. I called that number and it stated that the number was changed to a non-published number.

We live in Chas., SC and continously get annoying calls from this nunmber saying that we have only days left to do so and so. We are absolutely sick of these calls and the disruptions they cause. Is there nothing that can be done to stop this? We are supposed to be on he National Do Not Call list.

Jewell won't stop calling with a pre=recorded message that always says its your final chance at lowering your interested rates. Ive had 23 final calls from her now. Although that 5500 number is on the caller id box, she uses another line 386-985-5467. I am also on the do not call list.

This caller Jewell Weber will not stop calling me with a pre-recorded message. It says its my final offer. Well I have had 22 final offer phone calls from this pain in the..... This call was concerning my account information. I said "Excuse me?" {They repeated} I asked which accounts, and they told me credit card accounts, I asked which ones, silence, then disconnected. Called back, received a steady busy.

Calls me regularly despite my phone number on FCC Do Not Call Registry since 2003.
I press "1" to speak with a rep. and ask why they call.
"Matt" explains it's because his company "Account Services" has an offer for lower interest rates.
Then ask to speak with a manager and ask why "Account Services" call me.
"Eric" explains that a phone bank calls the numbers, but he will remove me from their call list if I give him my phone number.
Why would I give them my number again and expect them to honor my request this time?

I also spoke to the representative and told them that I have been getting repeated calls and wanted off the list. They hung up on me. And, no, I wasn't yelling at them, though after being hung up on, I certainly wanted to.

Scam. I got the message; pressed one to connect with an agent. Went through a series of questions about my credit card debt. The guy said that I could lower my interest rates because I've been paying my credit cards on time. He said "we work with Visa, American Express, MasterCard and others." Then he asked for the 800 customer service number on the back of any of my credit cards. I told him to take me off their list.

Called us several times. Since we don't know who it is, we don't answer. They don't leave any message.

My mother called me to ask about this number. Less than a minute later, I received the same call she did. Rang 5 times; allowed my answering machine to pick up. Nothing but a dial tone.
