Who Called Us

Answered another call from this "company" They always hang up when I ask for company name, etc. I have reported them to the FCC twice

This number called my home and hung up said nothing.

I have turned off my answering machine & let my fax mchine answer now anytime there is no # or i.d. or I don't know the #

Spoke to Amanda with Card Services, number comes up as out of area, 386-409-3699 and 323-547-0001. I've recieved over 17 call in the last 2 weeks! I've begged them to put me on the do not call list! They keep calling!!!!!!!! At all hours!!!!!! Qwest won't help me - call tracing is not available with these numbers they said. Urggg......!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why can't we stop them????? Card Services is the DEVIL!!!!!!!!

This number showed up on the caller ID for our fax line. I hope they liked a fax machine squealing in their ear! :)

Same BS with the prerecorded message that tells you to not be alarmed about your cc-s. The next time they call you and you talk to a person over there, ask them why does the company employ retards who don't know the difference BTW the company's name and a company's accounting dept.

I've been offered a one time chance to lower my mortgage payment. That's a neat trick, considering I don't have a mortgage.

I was racially harassed by a man stating " You white bitch, when Obama becomes president you will all be white slaves." the number was 1-386-409-3699

My father passed away and I have been living in his house trying to take care of the estate, etc. and have been getting these "Don't be alarmed, but this is the last chance to get lower interest rates on your credit card..." calls constantly, several times a week for a couple months now. Today I got one like Sandy reported, they said "that if either my Mastercard or Visa had a balance of under $2500 and that I'd paid my credit card bill on time in the past six months that I could take advantage of having my interest rates adjusted to 6%." Once a month or so ago I got a nice guy who said he'd take him off the list, but since then every rep I get and ask to get removed, they just hang up. Same thing when I ask what company "Card Services" really is so I can report them. My father's number is on the federal and NY state do not call lists, but what is even more weird is he never had any charge cards or a mortgage and was 89 years old when he passed away. My parents never believed in loans or charge cards, so they never had any, always used cash only on everything, so where they got the number from must just be a random dialer program in total disregard of the do not call laws because they surely did not get his number from any lending activity. It is very annoying in any case to get these calls, but with my father only being gone a few months, it is even more distressing to be constantly harrassed like this when I am expecting calls regarding the estate and trying to get through a most difficult time. They really need to be sued and fined under the law.

I have received 3 phone calls from these guys in 2 days. When asked their company name, they say "Consumer Services" and attempt to obtain confidential credit card information. It sounds like a telephone "boiler room" in the background, and they refuse to state where they are calling from or any more information about their company.

They hung up on me when I wouldn't play their game and give them confidential account information.

(And they, obviously, disregard the federal Do Not Call list).

Recorded call to lower interest rates on my mortgage. Told to press 1 to talk with my "representative" in charge of my account. After being on hold, call hangs up. This is getting ridiculous as when I do get a "rep" I ask how they got my number since I am on a no call list. they claim they got it from my mortgage broker. Mortgage broker denys this adamently. TOTAL SCAM. I told them never to call again, and the man told me to get &^(*&^ and hung up. I now get calls from the sme 386# but a different phone number. Ridiculous! And no one does anything about it.

Phone rang. Didn't recognize number, Caller ID on TV said "OUT OF AREA" answered and recording " Hello this is Gina with Card Services" at which point I hung up.
When is the government going to outlaw number change services? Throw these operators in jail and throw the keys away and that would stop 99% of these calls.

When I answer they do not respond. I have received several of these calls in the last month. I have sent a message to Bell South. Very suspicious call.

They called again,this place is a scam, they want you to get a lower interest rate on your credit cards, and as soon as you ask them what their company name is they hang up. If they were legitimate they wouldn't hang up. I am on their calling list and I have asked them several times to take my number off their list. I keep getting calls from different numbers....same company Card Services...

Same as others. I pressed 1 to speak to them and asked who they were and they hung up. I get these quite often and will let the Attorney General know. Obviously, it's a scam.

Same message as numerous other times: "Don't be alarmed but this is your last chance to get lower interest rates on your credit card". Caller ID this time just says "Florida call". That number has been disconnected so obviously the ID is being spoofed.

They have been leaving a message every day. But today I was here and answered. It said...don't be alarmed but this is your last chance to get lower interest rates on my credit card. When I questioned them about why they were calling me every day they hung up. I called the number back and the operator says the number is disconnected. I had a similar call a few weeks ago and they ask for my account number. They were going help me with a deliquent account. I said I have no such account..they wanted my acct number so they could fix the situation. I questioned them and they hung up on me...it too said disconnect when I used the number on the caller id to call them back...
