Graham, 1901 Rodd Fld. Rd. #197, Corpus Christi, TX 78412; The American Diabetes has a 1-800-342-2383 number; Do not give out personal information (credit card, bank numbers, etc.) to anyone over the telephone, PERIOD! This is definitely a scam operation if they're calling "on behalf of . . . "! Warning!

I have a Panasonic phone system that lets me block specific numbers. This is the second company that I have blocked. It only takes a second and saves a lot of frustration.

I'm a the national do not call list and they still call everyday. If the government is actually charging them 10 grand a call, they'll be out of debt soon.

Hey, i e-mailed Sally ans she took my name off, i did that about YEAR ago and i HAVE NOT gotten ANY calls since.

I keep getting calls everyday from Futuremarket also and have for a few years. A few months ago I answered and they told me my husband had pledged $17.00 to the diabetes association and that they hadn't gotten their money yet so they asked if they could re-send the pledge papers.(Since we never received them in the first place). I of course said yes since my husband had already made the pledge with them but I found out he had never spoke to anyone about any pledges. I received the pledge papers and the amount was $17.50. Needless to say I didn't send them anything and the diabetes association got an earful from me. By the way, my husband is also a diabetic but now our donations are given at our local walkathon for diabetes.

They have called constantly sometimes it's 361-992-3060 sometimes it's 361-992-3033 Caller ID says "futuremarket" how do we stop these A__Holes. I already am listed with the do not call registry!!!!!

I am getting a call every day from FUTUREMARKET TE -(361) 992-3060. They dont leave any voice message but it is irritating that I get a call every day from them.

I am not suprised that this is massive computer generated calling.
It is also not suprising that this abuse of the telephone system originates in
Bush Country. Notifying the telephone company, the Attorney General, and other authorities are excellent ideas generated from readers on this site.

Well i called them back, they claim to be a customer service line for the American Diabetes Association - they claim they will remove my number from there call list, if it doesnt happen i think i'll start *67 my cell phone that has free long distance and start calling them every day tryin to sell whoever answers some of my household junk that i would put up on ebay LOL

I called the number and got a lady that answered "customer service". I hung up and realized I was on the list too. 3x a day.

they call - we generally don't answer - but boy are they a pain. Daily and 2x daily.

Ok. Here's the deal. It's not the only way to deal with these folks. But, it works for me. When anyone calls my HOME phone (it is a typical regular land-line), the call is forwarded to my cellular phone. My cell is programed to recognize repeat telemarketer callers and I can select "silent" as a ringtone for these fools. As a result my home phone "chirps" (not a long bothersome full ring) to let me know there's a cell call on the way. If my cell lights up but doesn't "ring" then it has intercepted a telemarketer call. The head's up "chirp" from my land-line gives me enough time to grab my cell if I am awake. If I'm taking a nap or just plain asleep in the morning....I never even hear the "chirp" and my slumber is uninterrupted. Ahhhhhhh.

Calls from these negative FutureMarket TE people come to our home morning, noon, and night! We're on the Do Not Call List. So how do these negative "wastes of space" get thru? The whole point of the Do Not Call List, is to stop these people, from bothering us! Someone is not doing their job. Come on, it's 2008. We have the Technology, we have the "Know How". Lots of calls, several a day, then none for a while, then it starts again.

I answered this, as we are on the Do Not Call list, and they identified themselves as being from a non-proft Diabetes Assn. It is my understanding that non-profits are exempt from the national DNC list regulations.

These people call every single day. Twice on Sunday as late as 9pm.

They have called me twice a day for weeks now. The guy that called today said his name was Paul Graham.

Receive 4-5 call a day. What happened to the no call list??

We frequently receive calls daily from this number but do not answer. It's Sunday evening and they're working their telemarketing scam!

Sorry for the 2nd entry. I called this number, they answered saying 'customer service' and I asked to be removed from their calling list. The lady was very polite, took my number and said they would try to get my number removed within 24 hours. We will see because I know they also have been calling at night (8:30) from another number: 316-992-3033.

They call my house EVERY DAY - even weekends, sometimes twice a day. I have never answered.

We have received several calls from both this phone number and 361-992-3060 in the last couple days. I answered the phone earlier and after trying to understand what the caller was saying, I just hung up on them.

Phone calls started Saturday morning at 9 am. I didn't answer the first 2. Answered the third and told them to remove my phone number from their database. They said they woild The next day, Sunday, I received another call. Needless to say I was upset. I've written an email to the company president. Look FTI is a company that just tries to make a living. Sally and Curtis have been dear friends of mine for nearly 10 years. I have gotten several calls from this #, and I never answer. Today, I actually called them back and the lady answered, "Customer Service, how can I help you?" I told her she can help me by stopping calling me, that they call everyday, and I know they are a telemarketer, and my # is on the National do not call registry, and she took my # and said she will delete it from their records.

If they call me again, I will call them back and tell them where they can send the money they owe me for violating the restrictions.

Calls almost every other day from several different phone numbers. The others are 361-992-3054 and 361-992-3070. And I am on the Do Not Call lists. Very annoying - these people should be stopped.

This company calls 2-3 times a day. If you answer, there is no one on the line, so they keep calling back. I've just grown accustomed to ignoring it. My suggestion: If they are representing the American Diabetes Association, write them and let them know what a shoddy job they are doing. Very strange, the lady said she was a nurse, available 24/7 for any medical help and left a number. She also left the name of the place, but I can't recall now.
The most important thing is THEY HAVE STOPPED CALLING!!!!

There IS an answer - I called the President at her home after 5 pm - 330-342-7905 - just asked for Sally, and her son got her on the line. I asked if she is with Futuremarket, she said yes, and I asked her how I can get them to stop calling me. She asked for my number and said she will take me off the list in 24 hours! Recieving calls from this number on average 1 call in the evening shortly after dinner, every other day. Sometimes once/day. Calls started about 1 month ago. Stopped for approx. 2 weeks, then continued. I've never answered. of course I'm on the National DNC list!

I answered this time (was not on my caller id phone) and they claimed to be from the diabetes organization! The nerve! They have phoned 3 times this weekend and it's Sunday evening / 8:30 pm!

I get at least one call a day from these jokers, including Saturdays and Sundays, for the past two to three weeks. They apparently took the day off yesterday, President's day.

Apparently, they use four different phone numbers, all described here, all starting with "361-992". The "caller ID manager" cited can block individual numbers, specified area codes, specified exchanges, and all numbers that comes through despite blocking via ACR (anonymous call rejection), such as "out of area". You can also program it to only accept calls with numbers on file in the device.

Despite the fact that I'm receiving daily calls from them, as well as two to three other telemarketing outfits, I rest easy. One day, 2 weeks ago, I received 8 calls, 6 of them from telemarketers, 2 for the wife, in one day. I put call tracking on for this device, and I chuckle to myself when I check it out at night, and find all these annoying calls stopped.

The user manual for the "caller id manager" sucks, so I called their "tech support" to get the device going. It's easy to use once you get the hang of it.

Also, you can route calls to up to 4 remote units, each with it's own "answering machine", and I'm thinking of getting a remote unit to route these calls to a machine where I record a nasty message.

These idiots keep calling -- even though I asked them to REMOVE our number. It's a scumbag marketing firm that's been hired by the American Diabetes Foundation. They called at 8:30 at night (I get up at 4:00, so was already asleep) listed as Unknown Name, answered (since I was fuzzy from sleep) and nobody was there. We are on the DO NOT CALL list. Aaaaarrrrgggghhh!

I get daily calls from this number and it's very irritating. I'm supposed to be on the "do not call" list. Why does this call get through? How do we stop these calls?

I've received calls from 361-992-3060 and 361-992-3070, which showed up as 'FUTUREMARKET TE' on the caller ID. After visiting this site I learned from another user's post that the company's website is: fticentral.com ... and if you go to the contact page of the website fticentral.com you can find the email addresses of the people in charge. I simply sent a short email to Sally Emch semch@fticentral.com stating that I would like them to "please remove the following number from your database: ###-###-####" and received a prompt reply stating:

(full message too long to paste here, but paraphrased = they are calling on behalf of the American Diabetes Association, seeking volunteers for their "Community Campaign for Diabetes" fundraising drive, they are exempt from "do not call" laws, their autodialer will keep dialing you until they get ahold of you and you either help them or tell them to go away, and your number will be removed from their database within 24-48 hours.)

I've donated to the American Diabetes Association in the past and will continue to do so, but I will never, ever donate over the telephone to any charity. I will only make donations by mail to charities that I can verify, so that I know that I am donating to whom I think I am donating.

Lesson to be learned: ignoring their calls won't work, since they will keep calling (up to 2 times per 24 hours) until you answer and participate or opt-out.

These callers from 361-992-3060 will be surprised when they call me again as I have cable system for my phone and can block calls that I don't want after they have called once!

I called the number on my ID for FUTUREMARKET TE and reached an Investigative comppany in Corpus Christie. They told me that they would remove my phone number from the list. We shall see.....

This number has been calling us morning, afternoon, and evening for days now. Never leaves a message. When we answer the phone, we get just a dial tone or a few seconds of silence followed by dial tone. I called back today and a woman said they are calling on behalf of the American Diabetes Association.
* So I called the ADA (1-800-DIABETES; Donate option) to tell them that their reputation and fund-raising efforts are being damaged by Futuremarket Te. The ADA rep said that she would take our number off their telemarketing list and would report Futuremarket Te.'s behavior to a manager.
* We also filed a complaint w/ the Do Not Call Registry. If Futuremarket Te. is a for-profit entity, they should not be calling us.
* The ADA will never, ever get another dime from us.

Get calls DAILY, serveral times. I, too, am on the DNC list. However, I think that charitable organizations, non-profits and governmental agenices are exempt from the list. But I believe that if you call the company directly to be removed from their call list, they must comply.

They hang up every time I answer, so I called back and got their address. I told them that will I charge $50 every time they call me and that taking my call constitues their agreement that they are obligated to pay. This worked for a friend of ours and he got a check for $50 before they put him on their no call list.

They called twice today, the first time was a hang up the second time they started asking for medical information. Calling ADA right now

This is the second call and unlike the first call when no one spoke on the other end, this time a woman said that she was calling from the "American Diabetes Association". Right at that point I requested that our number be removed from their list.

Started out this call may be monitored or recorded.Told trhem if this call is being monitored you beter get a better system. Caller was a woman with a VERY broken command of English. Same thing--getting calls almost every day (including Saturday and Sunday), sometimes in the evening too.

Charities are exempt from the Do Not Call list. That's how they get around it. I emailed the president, but I like the guy who found her home number and called her at home. I wonder if FutureMarket employees get these calls at home....I doubt it!!

I researched this company, FutureMarket. Found their president's e-mail on line and sent her an ugly message. Here is the reply:

We would be happy to remove your name from the files. I wanted to make you aware that we were calling your home on behalf of the American Diabetes Association. We are seeking volunteers for their "Community Campaign for Diabetes" fundraising drive. Fundraising organizations are exempt from the "do not call" laws in your state which is why we are able to attempt to contact you even though you are on the national "do not call" file.

The way that the dialing machines work is that until a final disposition is achieved ( a yes or no response) the number will continue to be dialed so that is why there are numerous attempts to reach you. I apologize for any inconvenience.

We display caller ID as required by law so that you can request to be removed from our files at any time by calling the number displayed. I will also have a full audit of your number pulled so I can report back to you exactly how many times we have dialed your number so you have it for your records.

As previously stated we will remove your name and number if you relayed it to our customer rep from our files and the American Diabetes files and so you know this can take up to 24 - 48 hours. If we can be of further service please let me know.

We get these calls most days at least once.
We never pick up and they just hang up when the answering machine comes on.
I plan on answering next time and telling them to stop calling!

You are supposed to be able to go to donotcall.gov and click on "file a complaint" and provide the company name/number and when they called on a form after your number has been on the registry for 31 days. Don't know if this works. We never answer unless we know the name and/or number.

Have been calling me and hanging up repeatedly. I called the number back and they answered Customer Service. I asked what company, and they said "On behalf of the Diabeties Association" But when pressed they did acknowledge that they were Futuremarket and did agree to remove my phone number.

I called Sally Emch, President and Owner and asked her to remove my number from her co. calling list. I told her I would sue her, Charity or not because they just hang up on me! That is harassment! She said she would remove my number. Let's see if it happens! I suggest you call her home like I did.

They've been calling several times every day for weeks. I have filed complaint with FTC but that's pretty useless since others have done the same for past year. If this is what my donations to American Diabetes Assn gets me then I am stopping. Phone company is of no use...call blocking does not work on calls from outside our "area". Do Not Call list is of no use since this is posing as a charity. They are a pain is what they are!

I have a complaint pending with the Washington State Attorney General.

We have talking caller ID on some phones, so we just ignore the several calls a day we have received for a week. When we identify a telemarketer's phone number, I just record "scumball" (in my own voice)into my other voice announce device. No need to go to a phone to see who is calling.

Took charge today and called them. They telemarket for nonprofits and are therefore not subject to government do not call regulations. They invited me to leave a message asking to be put on *their* do not call list. I did. We'll see if it works.

Calling several times a week, no one there, no one ever leaves messages.

I have had this number and name (Futuremarket Te) show up on my caller id several times. I am usually not home, but the past two times I was at home, but did not answer the phone when I saw the name and number.

I searched Google, and came up with a listing for FutureMarket Telecenter, Inc.; registered with the State of Washington's Secretary of State; Charities Dept.; as a "Commercial Fundraiser"

I just got my identity stolen and now I'm recieving calls from this number. Strange....

We've been getting calls from 361-992-3060 almost nightly for a few weeks. We haven't answered any of the calls. We are on no-call lists.

I wish these people would stop calling me. They call at least three times a day. They are barking up the wrong tree. I haven't had much success with the stock market. How do I take my name off their list?

A foreign born person says he is calling for diabetes. He is not asking for money but he wants to send me 6 letters. At that point I told him don't bother and I hung up.

I have received at least calls a day from these "people" for the last three weeks - I have a really short fuse for offshore telemarketers that can't pronounce my name. They keep calling despite my requests to be taken off of their list. I escalated to the ADA (who they say they are working for) and got another offshore person who couldn't help me and actually said that they had absolutely no managers anywhere in their office - that could be part of the problem

I called one of the numbers listed in from Fred Smith's coment on 10-22-06 and got a hold of a lady there, They claim to be a non profit organization, asking for donations for diabtes. Since they are non profit they can call anytime they want. I called the 361-939-7175 number to be removed from their list and documented the ladies name I talked to (Marysol) and date and explained, that I will sue if I receive another call since I asked to be removed personaly.

These people call any time day and night. I just let the answering machine and they never leave a message. I reported them to both the state and federal do not call lists but they continue calling.

I called American Diabetes Association at 1-800-DIABETES (1-800-342-2383). There is a phone option to have your name taken off their mailing list. When I spoke to the representative, I demanded to be off their telemarketing call list also(they said this would be effective immediately). He did not deny it when I asked if Future Market wasn't their outsourced telemarketing firm. Hopefully, this will work.

FUTUREMARKET calls 2x per day, everyday, for the past several months.

I've been getting these calls sincethe middle of 2006, never anyone on the line. I called the number back and found out they were associated with the American Diabetes Association. Asked to be removed from list. Calls keep coming. I am on the DNC list, but, unfortunately, I once DID contribute to the ADA, so it is legal for them to call. So I have discontinued all contributions to them. Will write the ADA.

Told me they were affiliated with the American Diabetes Association and would send me out letters to mail to people (only costing me the stamps). I would then collect donations from these letters and they would send me instructions on how to forward them the money in cash!!! I told them off and told them they were full of it! I am on the DNC registry as well! Let's see if they call again. PLEASE if anyone gets a live person, don't fall for it! If you want to donate, do it directly to the American Diabetes Association!

been getting a call from these turkeys daily for about a week. usually between 5 and 6 pm when i am in the shower.

Called me as well. I think the telemarketers register these city names with their respective phone companies to mask where they are truly calling from.

They call once or twice a day. The Caller ID shows FUTUREMARKET TE, whatever that is. And, as others have discovered, the number Googles to Corpus Christi, TX. I'm on all the No0Call lists and am getting MAD.

If these calls continue, I will call the FTC at 877-382-4357 or notify the Attorney Generals office to report these violations.

Caller was calling from Manila, Phillipines wanting me to agree to send out solicitations for donations for the American Diabetes Association. I complained to the Diabetes Assn Headquarters in Washington DC that they use offshore telemarketers but they didnt seem to care.

On the map above it says its from the missouri/kansas border, but on caller id it says its in corpus christi. when i checked the name instead, there are many more comments and it says its a telemarketing company that is apparents exempt because its supposed to be for a charity.
