This is indeed the fundraisers from WWU.
This number is from WWU fundraising. Why they think parents can afford to give them more money when their kids are in college there paying beaucoup money is beyond me. One reason they are looking for money is because Gov Gregoire and our wonderful state government are trying to tak even more money away from the college, away from scholarships and are also taking work study away. Call your congressperson and tell them to knock it off. Apparently they don't support Pres Obama who just said in the State of the Union address that he wants to find MORE money for college students, not take it away!
Gotten several calls a week in the evening from this number. I never p/u. They never leave messages. How do I get them to stop calling??

No message. Called at 8pm on a Monday. I am a former student, but have no association with a foundation.
Why are they asking a recent grad for money, if that's what it is. I haven't even found a job yet!

If you're a Western alumnus, or the parent of one, the Alumni Association is making fundraising calls. They don't leave messages--probably because they know the likelihood of anyone calling them back is slim to none--but instead will keep trying until they get someone to answer.
I have also received calls several times a week from this number for the last couple of months. I called the number back, but only received a voicemail message. It said something about the WWU annual... phone-a-thon... whatever that is.
So, we've decided it is definitely a WWU office phone? I thought it was an on-campus residency. Can you comment on your findings, BG, or are they confidential? Thanks for posting.
If it is WWU, that would make some sense, my daughter goes there. Why don't they leave a message? I know that I recieved an email yesterday informing me of an on-campus safety issue (there was a report of an armed person on campus..unsubstantiated, so I don't know if they are related. I own a security company, and will reverse the number through law enforcement.

I have received 2 calls from this number in the last 2 weeks. I am a WWU alumni but am not involved with the university or alumni organization at all. I used to get solicited for donations now and then but not for several years, I guess they found me with this new public access to cell phone numbers. Thanks! Fun for me.
