Definitely a scam!!!! First a call from 860-756-0352, looking for fnancial information? then followed by this? Just phishing for active #`s s all

Caller hung up and left no message on voice mail. I phoned number back and got recording instructing me to "press 1" to be removed from their call list. Did so even though they probably wont.

Called four time this afternoon trying to give FREE diabetic supplies. When I told them we dealt with another company they kept calling back. I'm supposed to be on the "do not call" list. Asked them not to call anymore the second time and they have called twice since.

Msg on machine sounded like young girl laughing.

We don't answer and they don't leave a message.

As to the genuine Mark, your research tenacity is admirable. The PacTel scam callers are not easy to pin down, likely operate outside the US, and they have a seemingly endless supply of Pacific Northwest numbers, reported elsewhere to be technically defunct leftovers. I would imagine spoofing through VOIP is part of the business plan.

I will say that when years ago I still needed to combat email spammers, Level3 was among the few carriers which didn't seem to care about my complaints and I suspect was a spam harbor.

Ms. Bowman, you have been warned repeatedly against publishing your personal data for the whole world to find.

One more time: Your callers DO NOT maintain this site or any of its pages. They are not reading what you bash out in all-caps fury. You will not get compliance with your orders until you deliver them DIRECTLY to each of your callers, if they can be found.

The ''Mark'' from 12 June is an impostor, another refugee from the Duncan / Garrett soundboard prank call group who thinks its hilarious to go around pranking users of this site.

Finally tracked down the carrier for this phone number. It used to be called Qwest Comm but is now called Century Link. The phone number is coming from the Seattle WA area. Again technically you have to be a CenturyLink customer but this is their annoyance call hotline: 800-582-0655

Now I would like to actually track down the address and true phone number for the marketing company responsible for these calls. If anyone find its please post. Thanks!

Okay after doing some more research it is not level3's phone number but instead it is "Pacific Telecommunication Group". I have yet to find a number or a website for these people. Apparently they are in bed with marketing companies and do not wish to get public complaints. If anyone has a number or a website for them please post it here. Thanks!

My mother-in-law is diabetic and while living in a RV next to our house was using our phone service for a couple years prior. But since she movied out a year ago I keep getting calls from these diabetic supply company. I have given them multiple times my mother's phone number and told them no one is diabetic that lives at this number and to please update thier computers with the correct information. I have gotten about 15 calls in the past year. Once about every 20 days or so. I am now annoyed beyond believe. I have my phone number unlisted and also on the national no call list. I have tracked down the number to be level3 communications and am now complaining directly to them and filed a complaint to the national no call list. These people do not have any respect due to their gorilla style marketing tactics.

Here is Level3's info:

Fraud department (even though it says you can't complain unless your law enforcment, another telco company, or a customer of level3) I highly recommand that you complain anyways. My local telco company would not do anything but ask me to get a $4.25 service to allow me to block phone numbers. I don't feel that is fair to have to pay to get rid of these guys.:

These people will not let up!

I am sick of these calls, they call sometimes 2-3 times each day, some of the callers have a foreign accent. What is really bed is now they still call but their system hangs up on me instead of deleting my number from their call log machine. When I find them I am going to send them a big box of surprise so they can use their own care plus. Completely sick of this crap.

2012-05-18 17:16:56 UTCNorma

Do not call here again. If I need any kind of supplies, I will call and get them myself. There are no diabetics in this house. I AM TIRED OF THE CALLS.

2012-05-18 17:09:43 UTCMick

Have already called four times this morning !!!!!! Pain in the butt people......will never do any business with these jerks!

2012-05-18 01:36:21 UTCgail

Received nine calls today between 9:52 EST and 3:39 EST. Caller hangs up when call goes to our answering machine or hangs up when I answer. I called their # and requested removal from their calling list. Recording says allow 24 hours. We'll see if this works.

2012-05-16 23:01:09 UTCJ Watt

Couldn't understand the person who was calling.

2012-05-14 19:13:19 UTCMorgan

Caller identified self as "Cindy from Diabetic Care Plan Plus." Said I was in their database as being a diabetic. Vague about how they got that information. When I asked what she wanted, she said that they were in the process of sending me a new meter and strips under my health insurance. I told her that I did not want ANYTHING sent that I did not request, and that if they attempted to send me anything I did not request and bill my health insurance, I would have their heads. I asked, "Is that clear?" She said, "Clear," and hung up.

This company/person keeps calling several times every day. My number is on the Do Not Call registry and they've been told not to call here. Just today they've called 6 times this morning, about every 15 minutes. Both yesterday and today I filed complaints on the Do Not Call site.

2012-04-01 14:26:27 UTCHeatshield

Says "Diabetic Suppli"

2012-02-25 14:47:01 UTCGeorge Mejias

Constant call for unknown person. Hangs up and trys again later under another name.

How do I stop them from calling?

  1. Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
  2. If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the FTC.
  3. Block them with a call blocker:
