did not answer phone call. i never answer unknown or private numbers. came here to see out of curiosity.
DO NOT CALL BACK. If it is a really important call for YOU and/or your family.. they will insist so much until you answer.
We should not feed these people by answering calls. If you want to help any charity organization, choose the one of your liking to do your good deed. Hope my message inspires somebody not to fall in the hands of unscrupulous people. G

Female caller, claimed to be from the March of Dimes. I asked for the supervisor and the woman hung up on me.
Recieved two calls 1/15/08 and one call from (330) 479-0010 on 12/17/07, same as before. they do not answer. LCD on caller ID "Stark City Disk, Canton Ohio...Looked up 0010 number, Stark City Library, Canton, OH.
They don't leave a message, they just keep calling.
multiple calls over the past few days
I just got a call from that number, after 3 rings it stopped. I did a Google search and the number is from INFOCISION.COM a telemarketing firm.
I didn't pick up call but called it back, said number is disconnected. The next time they call I will answer it and just lay it by my radio so they think their on hold. maybe they'll get the hint
The woman said she was with the March of Dimes. Wanted me to send out 16 letters to friends and family. I said I didn't have that many friends and she said they would provide addresses!!! All I had to do was provide the stamps. I hung up and decided to google "unknown" the number. I smell a scam!
I received a call from this number also. Thanks for everyones previous postings. I'm also on the Do Not Call List and to be honest..it does not seem to stop soliciting.

Person on phone finally said they were soliciting money for a white supremicist group and that their idea of healthy babies was white babies. Email the Cleveland, Ohio office of March of Dimes and let them know.
Called a couple of times, I never picked up.
Answer machine picked up but caller left no message.
Called at 1:56pm central time - no message could just hear someone hanging up.

this number has called a few times - usually I call back and it says disconnected - tonight a man answered and told me he did not call - sounded rude and hung up.
Might be March of Dimes, but probably commercial hack company hired to do blind calls. They are probably hacking the CID which may be illegal. Typically charity sees only small fraction of amount collected so really a commercial enterprise.
Best remidy would be to call local March of Dimes or nation office and complain bitterly. Say you will tell all your friends about this scam and tell them not to support this charity...hit them where it hurts and maybe they will think about not doing this in the future.
Calling it back u get "number has been disconnected" yet it shows on LCD;
This scammer has either or both: obtained this number as his "caller id"
or that number only MAKES calls it cannot receive them.

They called at about 8:57 PM.
Answered the phone, a womain's voice was asking "Hello?" several times. She behaved as if she could not hear me, then disconnected.
I called the number right back and it says that number has been disconnected no other information is available
