Who Called Us

This number called me twice but I didn't answer. When I called back it said it was Donor Care Centers on behalf of some other company name I couldn't quite hear.

They called yesterday and asked about our swimming pool. They said that it was the biggest on in the U.S., then asked if it was an indoor or outdoor pool.

-a very, very goofy form of harrassment.

"I have reported this number to my state's attorney general. Too many calls from them. I am on the do not call list."


I'm sure he has nothing better to do than worry about you getting an annoying phone call. What an idiot.

Call 1-800-445 7128 and hold your ground. I have started receiving outbound faxes which sends even though I do not have fax services on. I decided to use Reverse Lookup on Whitepages.com I looked further and found elsnet.org lists a number to be removed from this call list. Just because they consider themselves a non-profit does not make outbound faxes right. This is a European Company so be careful.

Caller wanted to update info for a directory and wanted me to answer some questions I told them we don't participate in over the phone surveys and hung up.

Calls at least Twice a day for one week

I find this rather silly. I worked for the comapny in the past. It would be nice if some people rather than blogging about the evils of telecommunications would donate their time to saving babies lives they might be much happier.

Called 3 times a day for past month. Left no message, very annoying. I am on do not call registry.

They call almost every day, did not leave any message.

I have filed a complaint with the FCC at fcc.gov

Ameridial has been calling relentlessly for the past 2 weeks. It started with solicitations for March of Dimes and they currently put us on hold, "waiting for service rep", and the line cuts off after a minute or so. Calling the number, 330-244-1186, puts me on hold and then reverts to a voicemail system that promises to call back later.

How can we stop this scam?
Obviously the Do Not Call List isn't working!

They have been calling 2-3 times a day for a month. Never a message, always a hang-up. Called back today and all the resp were busy, did not "hold for next available representative"

I called them. They are exempt from the Do not call list as they are a non-profit. You can call and ask them to not call you and they will add your number to their list. It takes a few days they said.

Calls from this number daily. Usually nobody is there. I am on the DNC for my state.

called at 1:10pm. phone rang twice, I decided to answer it. when I picked up the phone all I got was a dial tone. been on DNC list since 2003. first call from these people, and it had better be the last

They called again today and I answered this time (hoping to mess with them). They said they're March of Dimes and mentioned the contribution I made some time ago (which I have), and basically tried to get me to donate again.

They called to verify information for the Manufacturers News - Illinois Service Directory.
Its is free publication sent to Illinois Manufacturers.

Wanted to update our "free listing" in their directory. They have called several times in the past, and I have repeatedly asked them to remove us from their listing. They always hang up when I tell them to remove us.

Calls here 3-4 times day and hangs up when we answer

they've been calling me for several days. I don't answer, and they don't leave a message. very bothersome!

Gave no name...Asked what she wanted. Began talking about Bibles for our troops in Iraq. I asked if she was aware my tele no was on the "No call list?" She said she was and continued with her pitch. I hung up.

2nd time calling, no message

They called our business here to "update your listing with us"
I suspected they would try to sell me another useless phone book, but they did not.

They have called every night for atleast 3 months around 8:00. We have caller ID and do not answer. We are on Do Not Call List but they keep calling. I answered a few times and they hang up. To call back you are on long distance and on eternal hold or busy signal.

Called at 8:30 am. I thought I had answered and hung up after a few seconds of silence but then heard a female voice asking for my husband by name. I didn' t answer her.

they have been calling for days--always during the school day, and also, don't leave a massage.

Some credit collection agency, randomly phishing for people with same last name.
