How do I stop them from calling?
- Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
- If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the
FTC. - Block them with a call blocker:
Uniden DECT1288 blocks up to 20 numbers, plus Private and Unknown, with the reject tone, without ringing the phone.
Panasonic KX-TG106 blocks up to 30 numbers, plus all unidentified callers, with a busy tone, after the phone rings once.
JF Teck Caller ID with Ring Controller blocks up to 70 numbers, and can be set to always allow up to 100 to ring through.

I get the same thing. Usually just a hang up, but occasionally someone asks me about health insurance. I've been called between 8 and 9 AM everyday for the last week. I re-signed up at donotcall.gov last night so we'll see what happens.
Answered the phone and no one said anything
Went on line for health insurance quote, now I get them calling me over and over .. even told them not interested still calling.
they call all the time. I went on line for one health insurance quote.. now it is non stop. My husband will have a new job and these stupid people will still be calling!! The same with a warranty for my car, that company keeps calling too, they even got my husband cell too. I just know the number sequence and don't answer my cell when they call. If they want to leave a voice mail, they can do that.
They call me like 10 times a day.I told them to stop calling and they still call me.am ready to press charges against them.

they have gotten my cell phone number somehow and have called 4 times today. No one speaks when I answer.
They keep calling (at least 10 times since yesterday, and once already today)and asking for me. If I'm not the one that answers the phone, they hang up!
These folks caled me last week. It is a company that sells Health Insurance. When they answered they identified as Health Insurance Inc. There was no info from DEX-Online or SuperPages.com.
I got a call and it just rang and rang. No answer.
No one spoke just called and hung up after a moment.
woman's voice left voicemail about "limited availability" called was cutoff.
Called back. No answer. Then it picked up and dialed random numbers. Silence. Then the call ended.
