I received a phone call from this telephone number any my caller i.d. indicates that this number belongs to Myer Associate. My husband answered the phone and they asked for me, but I was not in and they did not say what they wanted. Since I don't know who they are, please tell them to quit calling me!
Calling MANY times each day and keep saying Hello, Hello, into voice mail. This morning in VM actually asked for my wife by name, but don't seem to realize they are speaking to my voice mail. A great reason to keep the home line, somewhere to send SPAM!!

Two calls today. I didn't answer, and they hung up before the answering machine picked up. The second call was shortly before 9 p.m. and woke up my husband, who was trying to catch up on sleep after being up most of the previous night for work. If I find out what "charity" or political organization they represent, I'll be sure never to contribute to them.
Siad they were collecting contributions for some police agency. Calling for my son Ben who hasn't lived here in 8 years.

Per the donotcall.gov website, "The National Do Not Call Registry does not limit calls by political organizations, charities, or telephone surveyors." You can thank our wonderful politicians for this loophole. Why would they want to hurt their own biggest source of funding?
Thanks to those who listed the 800 # to call and have my number taken off the list. They were calling my house up to four times a day, as early as 7:45a.m. and as late as 8:30p.m., I was about to seriously lose my sh*t. Evidently being on the Do Not Call List doesn't apply to politicians mooching for money....

Fundraiser wanted $200 donation to Obama for President. Fortunately we were able to work something out and I only have to send them $110, which is very good. I don't have a lot of extra money right now.
Caller identified himself as representing the Democratic Party in Oregon.

I decided not to use their on-line DNC registration because it asks for my e-mail address.
When I called to put my number on their DNC list, the person who took my phone information told me my number would be removed within 30 days.
I told him I would post their number on the internet so everyone could call them and hang up. Have fun people!
This was a call from the Democratic Party asking for State donations for the State of Michigan. I believe that various organizations
hire this service seeking funding. I have blocked the number with my phone service, but I have found that such businesses
have up to 10 phone numbers, so when one is blocked they use another and another and another. I can block just 10 numbers
total with my present phone service.
As I understand it, being on the "do not call" list does not prevent political or charitable organizations
from calling you. Nor does it prevent any business from calling you, with whom you have had transactions after joining the list.
Just call 1-800-676-9233 (The Meyer Company) tell them to take
your phone number off their list and they will. At least that's
what they told me today when I called. Could take 30 days but
it's usually done within 24 hours. Hopefully that will end it.

First call came thru at 12:21pm on 6/30/08. When I answered, caller asked for my mother and indicated she was from Democratic National Committee (caller ID said "Business Center). I told her my mother, who was recovering from surgery, was having her lunch and was not interested in taking the call. I hoped that would end it.
On 7/1/08, calls came through from the same number again, first at 12:34 p.m. and then at 1:09 p.m. I was away from the house and my mother answered the phone--no one was there either time. Same day, the call came through again (3:11 p.m.) and, when my mother answered, the woman asked by name for either my mother or me. My mother again told her she was recovering from surgery and was not interested. We are on the Do Not Call list and are tired of getting these calls.
They hang up as soon as my answering machine picks ups. I, too, am on the DO NOT CALL list. It seems worthless to register for the DNC list, since we get so many calls like this each day.

Unsolicited call received at my parents' home at 1:25 PM today. The caller asked for me by name. The # is one I used as a teenager 20 plus years ago! The # was registered on the do not call list as soon as it was available and was renewed on the list this year. My parents don't give any information about me and my siblings and where to reach us but they do try to take messages when a call comes in for one of us. The womanon the phone was rude and nasty when my father tried to get info from her.
They have called at my office (Govt.- State of Alaska)about a half dozen times in the past week. I observe the phone number on the phone LCD display. I answer, wait 1 - 2 seconds, no answer so hang up. When there is a delay in answering, I assume it's an automated dialer in the process of switching to a live agent. So, I hang up before they speak.

I live in Washington State. I received a call from Meyer Associates at 2:58pm Aug 31 (320-656-4105). I picked up the phone & said hello. There was a second or two delay and then a woman said hello. She asked for my husband. I said he wasn't available & asked to take a message, but she said she'd call back later. Sep 1 @ 2:33pm, I received a call from Business Center (320-259-4099). I wasn't home to receive the call, & they did not leave a message. This morning (Sep 2) the phone rang & the CID said MAT (I assume it stands for Meyer Associates). I answered, and the woman asked for Mike (my husband). I asked who's calling, and she said Washington Polling. Mike came in from the garage and took the call. The woman asked him which Senator & Congress person he was voting for. He told her, and then she asked about some other elections, but he said he hadn't decided yet. That was the end of the phone call.

They call between 4pm and 6pm a couple times a week. I don't have caller ID so I *69 them and then google them to find out who they are. Not like it does any good, but according to google this phone number is Meyer Associates out of St. Cloud, MN. I am on the MN and National do not call lists.

I loathe these people, they call multiple times a day and my number is unpublished, so I don't usually get cold calls. If it weren't long distance, I would badger them a few times a day too. Political surveys suck, no one really wants to answer their questions.
