How do I stop them from calling?
- Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
- If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the FTC.

no msg left. persistent this week, 4 calls
This number has called me 4 times today! I didn't answer it because I don't know anyone from St. Louis and that's where the internet said it was from.
Iam sending in a report for 314 -737-4549 to stop calling me
called 3-25-13 at 8:17 pm; ID shows PROMO DEPT. Also called 3 days ago - same number - hangs up after 4 rings. Probably some sort of scam.
called at 8:35 p.m. left no message; I, too, am on the DO NOT CALL LIST - it does no good - seems like more calls than before registering on the DO NOT CALL LIST. Maybe that list was "hacked".
I'm on the do not call list, too. WORTHLESS! If your phone system has a place to block numbers, put it there. That's where this number will go as soon as I post this message. I have a message on my machine that is very generic (no name or number included that would tell them they reached a particular number they were looking for: "Hi. You have reached this number. We either can’t come to the phone right now or do not recognize your number. Please leave a message after the beep. If you cannot do so without hanging up, your call will not be returned or answered again."

I called them back from a sub-line (that doesn't show my number - but a different number), and found that it is a newspaper subscription line. Junk.
These are people trying to get you to subscribe or resubscribe to any periodical you have had or had been taking in the past. They are relentless. Calls several times a day starting much too early. They get numbers from calling lists and the DNC was for 800 numbers. They now use private or personal numbers. Charge them with harassment.
For over 10 days this group has called, often more than 3 times a day. Even after hitting their unsubscribe number which states number will be removed within 48, they continue.
Finally decided to answer and line hung up.

They didn't leave a message after the answering machine picked up. They've called numerous times in the past but this is the first time I've reported it here. I'm on the do-not-call list as well.
