How do I stop them from calling?
- Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
- If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the
FTC. - Block them with a call blocker:
Uniden DECT1288 blocks up to 20 numbers, plus Private and Unknown, with the reject tone, without ringing the phone.
Panasonic KX-TG106 blocks up to 30 numbers, plus all unidentified callers, with a busy tone, after the phone rings once.
JF Teck Caller ID with Ring Controller blocks up to 70 numbers, and can be set to always allow up to 100 to ring through.

Called my cell phone. I looked them up, cause I didn't recognize the number. I put them into Extreme call blocker...no more calls from them.

Automatic dialer... no one there till I spoke, they asked for the owner... told them to old on.. laid the phone down, they total call lasted 1 minute 9 seconds then they hung up... GLAD to waist their time!

A sale call who claimed to be NOT a sale call, thanks to my Earthlink phone system, I can block this caller from calling me ever again.

I don,t trust any company that make cold calls, they seem like preditors or telemarketers dialing thousands of people a day ask me i think they are sick! CPC another company to ad to our do not do business with list...
this caller is told everyday to stop . they think laws dont apply tothem when they call every day,
I just got another call from CPC. I get several calls per week at my business from this number. It's irritating and interupts work flow to say the least.
I just noticed the Google ads below this message box...CPC Management Agency! Can you believe it? They are advertising on the very page people complain about the company on!
I get these all the time, caller asks for the owner, I explain that he is not in, he is frequently on job-sites, the best to get him is to leave a message, they say, No Message and hang-up. Sometimes is a rude person, sometimes they are actually somewhat pleasant. Wastes my time, and interrupts my workflow. Too bad the National Do Not Call Registry is for residential only!

Cresent Processing : wanted to talk to the owner - when I asked what it was in regards to they asked if I was an owner. After I said no she hung up.
got a call this morning from a very rude lady wanting to talk to the owner, when informed he doesn't take phone solicitation calls she said its not. When informed she was talking to one of the owners, she started her spiel and after 30 seconds I broke in and said it IS a phone solicitation call, do not send me anything and do not send someone to my business- we are not interested. then i hung up on her. during the whole phone call she was very rude...why would i want to do business with someone like that?!?
I went to their website and sent an email message to ALL executives to have my number removed. They actually called back within 2 hours via their 877 number. Very nice and promised to have all my numbers removed. Sounds like they are trying to change their image.
Female came on the line and asked to speak to "the owner of the business", which is funny because she called a residence..I informed her that she must have the wrong number, she answered by asking, "Oh, this is not a business I called?" I said no and disconnected the call.
After asking 9 times to not be called again, I've reported the number to the FCC, including all past calls. I've repeatedly told their rude reps that we do not take unsolicited calls, period. The owner won't talk to them, period. When I asked to be placed on the do not call list today, the rep actually laughed, and hung up. I just drafted a 600 word email to Mr. Kesler, the president of CPC, and indicated to him that I plan to send 10 emails to him for every one call I get from his company. Not that it will make a difference, but if it annoys him just a teeny bit...well worth the effort.

I just got a phone call from them. They asked for the owner and I replied which one, then she said that she had the wrong number. I asked what company she worked for and she said crescent processing. I checked them out on the web and it turns out that they are a credit card processing company with some questionable actions on both the processing end and when hiring their sales reps that they charge to work for them.

I switched my land line number to my cell phone, right away started to get these telemarketing calls. A GIANT pain.
A TEMPORARY salution that I am using is to
1. Save the number in my cell phone.
2. Identify the number naming it "X".
3. Then change the "RING TONE" to none.
Wha-La no more call come in!

I have a home tax practice. CPC has been calling at least once a day for several days. I checked out the number here to find that it is a credit card processing office. So, this morning, I picked up the call. The lady first asked for the business owner. I confirmed and then she began a spiel that her manager wants to come to my office and would I be available at 11:30 (it is 11:25 right now). I told her I had a home office and, before I could tell her I wasn't interested, she said they don't come to home offices and she hung up. Other than the rude hangup, she was professional in her manner. We'll see if they stop calling now.
So, try telling them you are "just" a home office - maybe they will go away.

Caller said they were with Crystal Processing and asked for owner. For anyone interested Radio Shack has a Panasonic phone for $100 that will allow you to block up to 50 phone numbers. Best investment I've made in years seeing as how I receive recurring solicitation calls at my office. This phone number is now blocked. The phone rings once and then shows call blocked. The caller gets a busy signal and then the system hangs up on them. Small way to fight back on the scam artists since congress isn't interested in reigning in these abusers.
call back and leave blank or insane mgs.... press # then 0 to get the operator then let them wonder for a change, and call back a few times, I was amazed that I could actually get a person on the phone, felt good to harass them a little. They are rude and call over and over again....
