Who Called Us

They just called a few moments ago and asked to speak with my husband, when I asked if I could help them they said they could ONLY speak with him...and by the way they NEVER identified themselves, which is ILLEGAL. I work for a telemarketing company and if you reach a live person on the phone you MUST identify yourself, what company you are calling from, and why you are calling. When I dialed back the number I got a recording that said the number was no longer in service or had been disconnected. Bunch of BS!!!!!

This is a collection agency...they continue to call for my ex-gf and she hasn't lived with me in over 5 years....I've told them this several times, I'm also on the DNC reg....if you keep getting calls file a complaint with the FCC.....esupport.fcc.gov

I get 2-3 calls from this number every day and they will not leave a message. The I.D. comes up Chicago, Illinois. It's annoying and this is a business number. I wish they would stop!

Called and asked for my girlfriend. I have no idea why. I told them to F off.

Called right at dinner time, live person, southern accent...ask for my actual first name. Said she was from Bank of America, and wanted to say thanks for being a customer. SCAM. I'm not sure what the purpose of that was, but they're fishing for your information.

Just received call from NORC U. They are associated with the University of Chicago and apparently are being currently used for who knows what nefarious reasons although ostensibly it's to perform a survey regarding health care. Check their site out. They are lackeys for Obama. Tell them nothing! The purple shirts (same as the brown shirts of Nazi Germany) will come treat you to their brand of union thuggery

Called twice today - no message - pure annoyance

Called my cellphone..I did not pick up becasue I did not recognize the number..they did not leave a message....cell phone numbers should not be made available I thought..

They've called twice and not left a message. I'm afraid to call back because that'll give them ammunition to keep calling!

why do we as consumers continue to pay for services, then taxed by state and federal govts... only to become victims of a system that takes our $$$ and then permits harassing scams. They can trace a fingerprint, they should be able to trace, stop and prosecute via electronic signatures... but I guess this is why I now pay 130.00 annually to 'insure' my id is not stolen. HogWash to a very scrutinized and permitted fleecing of the American consumer.

Caller id says chicago illinois- when i called the # back, message says # is not in service.

Called today, didn't answer, no message

I have recieved 2 calls from this person. When you try to call the number back, it is like the number doesn't exist.

called the number back and it said "Reward Services...please enter your 16 digit card number." When I hit zero it said it would transfer me to the next available rep but instead it disconnected me. When I put in a bogus 16 digit number it asked for it again and then said it would transfer me but again I was disconnected.

called 11:30 AM and answered it soon as I saw unknown # waited for a pause and hung up on them. On do not call list but that means nothing to these people.

they called & i didn't recognize the # so i didn't answer. I dialed *67 and then the number and it said it was a rewards center. whatever!

i'm on the DNC list, so i think it might be Discover.

My guess is hacker spammer ID thieves trying to elicit personal info. The other option is some illegal cold call center. They called me twice, had a "southern" accent

When you call this number back it says Reward Center and asks you to key in your credit card number.

Same experience here, we should all report this to the Federal Trade Commission or the FCC. This is damn annoying and VERY RUDE for someone to call me, ask for my wife then hangup on my when I ask who is calling.

Asshole called twice and left no message.

The number calls and leaves no message but the issue is that it is ringing onto a line that I have never listed and isn't even under a person's name.

I do not answer unidentified calls and I am on the Do Not Call list

this number called 4 times in the last 7 days. I just picked up when it called again and there was silence then a busy signal.

This person asked me if I wanted a Discover business card sent to me.She said she was calling from Discover card. I told her no. I asked her name and she hung up on me.

Ask for my wife. Told them that no one lives here by that name second time the called in 2 weeks. Asked who they were told me don't worry about it. I hung up on them

they have call several times in the past month asking for a Hector Hernadez I asked how did they get this # they said he gave it to them. I have a new phone service with never before issued numbers which are suppose to be unadvailable to telamarketers. Name that came up Elk Grove village IL

answered phone said hello 3 times no response. call id says unknown name.

Called my business on one of my RCF numbers asking for a "tracy" - when I told them I was a business and asked which number it was they were dilaing, the operator told me he was calling from JC Penney's for marketing purposes. I explained that he reached a business and he hung up

"unknown name" but 312 area code is Chicago.

Could not catch his name....could not understand who he was asking for....dog was barking!

Calls constantly...at least once a day for the past two weeks. Never leaves a message. I do not answer unidentified calls. I am also on the Do Not Call List so wish it would stop.
