Who Called Us

Third time they have called and left a message about a political candidate. I will definitely voter AGAINST that candidate. I have added the number to my Phone Tray program and they will get the message that my phone has been disconnected!

Did Not Answer, so I have no idea who/what they are.

I missed the call at 7:38 pm. No name given, no message left. When I called the number, a message said it was Karen, looking for the person who had contacted Argosy University.

I got a missed call from this number.

"They" didn't leave a voice message, but when I call back a recording replys with my phone number spelled:
"1-2-3-4-3-2-1 N-O - J-O-B"

This company called my house 3xs today. Today is the 1st time I have seen this company call. The caller id says Minute Poll LLC. They do not leave a message when they call.

This is a survey company...I didn't answer but my kid did.

i've got this number on my cell phone a couple of times. i don't know who the caller is.

im on the national do not call list, they shouldn't be calling imo. maybe congress could impose a USD$250,000 penality paid to the caller for breaking this trust.

that number has called my cell phone repeatedly the past few weeks...and never anyone there when I answer. Let it go to voicemail and they never leave a messasge.

I do not answer calls with a Chicago area code.

The caller left a message saying they were looking for participants to take part in a telephone discussion on shopping. If qualified, I could receive $50 for my time. They left an 866 telephone number but I did not return the call.

I get over 50 calls a month from all sorts of scammers and or telemarketers. About 6 months ago I bought a 'Privacy Call Center' from 'digitone.com' and it's incredible. You can list all your friends and love ones numbers and even a specific area code and prefix to allow, and they will ring and pass thru unobstructed. All others will be asked to enter an extension number of the party they want to speak to, and then will be disconnected. It catches every single unwanted call. I've had months of peace and quiet. Our number ends in a 0001 and it's obviously a big hit with these bottom feeders. I don't work for digitone and this is strictly an unsolicited testimonial. Good luck!

Do not call list does NOT protect you from political or charitable calls. When u sign up at alot of internet sites etc, the fine print may give them permission to pass yur name on for surveys etc..............

This party called on my cell phone (listed on the nat'l "Do Not Call list"). No message left on cell phone.

Didn't answer and they didn't leave a message. This is a great site. First I checked the area code online and found it was Chicago. When I put in the whole number I found this site. I'm relieved to know I didn't miss a call from a close friend who lives in Cicago.

I received a call from this number at 5:04PM 5/11/07. my caller ID said Minute Poll LLC. I wasn't interested, so I simply picked up the receiver momentarily and replaced it to stop the ringing. At 5:54PM they called again, and I did the same thing. Again at 6:25PM; same reaction. And, yes, once more at 7:00PM. Again I lifted the receiver momentarily to stop the ringing, and replaced it. Then I decided enough was anough and I called the number to tell them to take my phone number off their list. A young boy answered (pre-teen, 9-12 in my estimation. He simply said hello. I could hear 2 other young boys voices in the background - one shouted out my area code and telephone number, and the other one said "Gotit." At that point I hung up and I haven't heard from them again since.

caller id says "unknown" & they call 4 x's a day & everytime i answer they hang-up. sometimes they let it ring once or twice & hang up before i can answer.

We are on the Pennsylvania and the National "DO NOT CALL" list and we still got a call from this number. We did not answer, and they left no message.

Called my home office number after hours and left recorded message from "Jane Gilbert" that they are conducting a focus group of small business owners. Said they would pay me $150 to attend and that they are not selling anything. Sounded like she said she was with "Survey Center Market Research" in Chicago, which is a real company, but not in Chicago. Callback number is 312-546-5933 which comes up blank on this site and on Google. Sorry but it sounds too good to be true so probably a scam.

Ok, just found a phone number for them with a real human (Joel) on the other end. He's removing my number, but also seemed genuine in his apology for the bad behaviour of the auto-dialer.

This is a for profit calling center. Wanting to survey my choice of fast foods. They are making phone calls even when the destination phone is on a do not call list. Time to contact the FTC.

I am reluctant to press "2" as I may risk getting on one of their mass mailing lists. Who knows? I am on the "National Do Not Call List". These guys are probably breaking the law. Maybe we should each contact our individual state Attorney General's Office?

They called me THREE TIMES today! The last time was nearly 9 at night!!! This is ridiculous! The stupid thing is, if the Caller ID bothered to say it was a survey, I would answer it. But I never answer calls I don't recognize. And most of these other posts I've read said they aren't ever there on the other end anyway. Urg.

They called here in Marietta, Georgia at 11:43 AM. I just laid the receiver down and let them talk to themselves for about 2 minutes. After a minute of silence from their end I hung up.
