Who Called Us

Got a call from this #. Caller ID read "SD&A Teleservice." They were fundraising for the National Resources Defense Council, an organization we've contributed to in the past. NRDC usually calls us on their own but apparently has hired this company to solicit for them. That usually results in the organization giving a smaller part of the contribution to the services they are supposed to be giving. In return, we will cut our donations to them if that turns out to be true. Will check on Charity Navigator and similar sites to see if their expenses go up.

WETA public radio fundraiser.

Multiple calls for at least a week now (as of 2-28-13). Call times vary from early morning to late evening, one to several times a day. A message was left on the last call--all I could hear was heavy breathing and what sounded like a casual, friendly conversation in the background.

Calls, no message left. My name is on the Do Not Call registry.

I received two phone calls from this number (310)693-2915, both today (2/28/2013 at 4:13 PM) and yesterday (2/27/2013 at 2:29 PM). No message was left on either call. I have emailed them via their contact link to never call me and/or send me any mailings ever again, as my cell number is on the donotcall list. I've also reported them to the donotcall.gov site. I will be adding their number to my blocked calls list, should they decide to ignore my firm request.

The caller "Stefanie Schreink" claimed that I had donated to Democratic campaign and they need my soport for $150. I said no thanks. Hope do not scam nobody.

called back, voicmail said to leave nubmer to be removed from calling list.

Called but didn't leave voicemail. So far only one call.

Called, left no message.

The caller "Stefanie Schreink" claimed that I had donated to "Emily's List" in the past and could I now donate more money. Since I have never donated to "Emily's List", this is obviously some kind of scammer making cold calls using an autodialer. You can be assured that whatever you give to this "charity" scammer (or any other caller asking for donations) will go 100% to the scammer and 0% to the charity. Never give any information to any business, charity, or other entity that calls. If you want to make donations, always initiate the call/email/whatever yourself.

Multiple calls/day, several days in a row.

I donated a little to KPCC 2 radio-athons ago. I never give to charity, so it must be their company that just called. I won't be giving to KPCC anymore. I also get infrequent mortgage text spams (every 2-ish months) so SOMEONE sold my info. Never again.

They called on 5-27-2010 at 5:10 PM Pacific. The caller hung up right as the voice mail picked up. I've donated here and there to charities (policemen, firemen, Native American schools, etc.) in the past 6-7 years, so it definitely fits the profile of an agency seeking further donations.

Probably harmless.

I did not answer the phone. Caller did not leave a message.

ALERT !!!!! Claimed they were calling on behalf of KPCC Public Radio - asked for an outrageous "renewal" amount - They did identify themselves as SDA Enterprises - A SCAM - they had no info about my real membership - I will report to KPCC - I would NEVER give them credit card info -

It's a fundraising company, mainly for non-profits. If you've donated to a non-profit, then SD&A has been hired to request further donations.

They leave no msg. Anyone know what they want?

Several calls in the last couple of weeks - all hangups.

Calls my house at least 2 times a day. Don't know what they want.

I called this number back and it was a voicemail for a company that does fund raising. My best guess is for campaigns asking for money....
