How do I stop them from calling?
- Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
- If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the
FTC. - Block them with a call blocker:
Uniden DECT1288 blocks up to 20 numbers, plus Private and Unknown, with the reject tone, without ringing the phone.
Panasonic KX-TG106 blocks up to 30 numbers, plus all unidentified callers, with a busy tone, after the phone rings once.
JF Teck Caller ID with Ring Controller blocks up to 70 numbers, and can be set to always allow up to 100 to ring through.

Yeah - I have not answered either & they have yet to leave a message. We do not give our cell out to anyone except trusted friends & relatives. We have a home/landline phone & get enough telemarketers that I do not need them calling our cell.
Also using #'s 773-728-8019 208-664-0749 207-377-7914 603-875-6285 All of these #'s have appeared on oour cell phone that we have had for 10 years thru Alltel. The calls have been made from all of the #'s listed in the past 5 days.
I am calling Alltel to see what can be done. If anyone else finds a solution to this problem would you please comment on how to fix this.

I have been getting repeated calls from this number to my cell phone in April-May 2009. Very annoying, but I haven't answered.
Call came in from Macomb, Illinois, and they claimed to be from something called Warranty Services. It starts out as an automated message that connects you to shill. This company has called me repeatedly (from different numbers) for months.
Reverse lookup shows 309-833-5323 to belong to a Chella and Joseph Phillip - and further research shows she's 26. Still not answering, since I know no Chella at all, nor a Joseph Phillip, especially in Illinois.

This number keeps calling my cell phone and I am getting tired of it.
Since this number is showing as a Verizon number and being a Verizon customer I called to complain. Verizon has a lawsuit against three of these companies and the person I spoke with at Verizon was very aware of this issue. So, they are doing this on behalf of Verizon customers. If you are not a Verizon customer I would suggest contacting your provider to complain. Also, if you ARE a Verizon customer they will block the spoofed number, 309-833-5323, from calling your Verizon phone - but you have to call and ask. For those of you that don't know, they (the bad guys) can make a call look like it's coming from a different number rather than the real number - that's why we're seeing the 309-number.

Received call @ 10:28am CT on Friday, 5/1/2009. No message and didn't see the call until later. Tried calling the number and just received a recording that said, "We're sorry, you have reached a number that has been disconnected or is no longer in service. If you feel you've reached this recording in error please check the number and try your call again." How friggin' annoying.

I just got a call on this number to my cell phone. The owners of this company needs to be shot.
This number has been calling me for about a week now. 1. I dont even HAVE a vehicaland 2 my number is a VOIP...VERY unlisted must be auto dialer.
Most likely the auto warranty scam. I don't answer numbers I don't recognize. I haven't seen anyone else post a problem with this number yet.
