2/9/07 12:36pm
2/10/07 12:49pm

I answered one call. It was a lady with an asian acent asking me if I was interested in a credit card. I told her no and she hung up on me.

Sounds fishy do not give out info

They've called me consistantly for the past three plus weeks! Sometimes multiple times a day. We're on the nation "do not call" list, so why are they still calling?!

I received a call from this number on Wednesday January 24, 2007, and talked with a woman claiming she was from an acting/modeling agency. She had an Asian accent and kept probing for information. I didn't tell her anything because it all seemed weird. I got another call from the same number today, but I didn't answer.

I get this a few times a week. I wanted to speak to someone so I hit 1 like I was trying to get the new card but the phone tree hung-up on me. Sounds fishy! Are they just fishing for live phone numbers and then selling that list? I'm on the DonNotCall list. I guess I need to report them.

I ditto what wendi said. They keep calling without leaving a message so I decided to call back and I got that HSBC crap. Bastards.

Telemarketer, offering HSBC credit card.

I answered again this time and told them they had the wrong number. Let's see if that worked.

2007-01-05 13:48:37 UTCEmily

Talked to a woman with an asian accent, saying she was with some bank. I hung up on her because after that she just kept saying, "Hello...hello...hello?"

I have been receiving calls from this number several times within the last week. I am always at work when they call and they never leave a message

2006-11-26 14:02:55 UTCJeff

Calling once or twice a day. Never leave a message on the answering machine. My Do not Call registry expired, so I have re-registered and will report them if I get another call.

2006-11-21 19:38:23 UTCwendi

I received a call from this number on Tuesday at 5:30 PST, nothing came up on caller id and no message was left. I called it back and got a recorded message saying they were HSBC Bank calling about a credit card offer and if I was calling M-F between 6am-5pm PST to hold on the line, if not to call back during those hours. why did they call me if they were closed?

How do I stop them from calling?

  1. Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
  2. If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the FTC.
  3. Block them with a call blocker:
