Who Called Us

I got call from bank of america and it showed up a synergy solutions. I listened and I went to the website. I didn't get the credit report becuase I figured it was a scam and I would forget to cancel it and they would charge me. This was months ago. Someone stole my SS# and used it to get loan and I get calls from collection agencys everyday and my credit ruined. Now I have the service and I have am working on fixing it. They were great, they walked me thru the whole thing on how to fix it.

I don't know if this is the number or not because it never shows up on my caller ID, but I do have messages EVERY DAY saying..."This is NOT a sales call. Thank you"....but there's no number associated with it. So I would like to know if anyone else is receiving this message on their voicemail.

They are also using a full range of numbers from extentions 8700 through 8760

Called them back on 307-764-8753 and got a voice prompt to input a PIN. Phreaks, do your thing.

People called here for non existant people, 2nd time in two days. We are on Federal Registry, these people should be Fined.

Called back the number, got Synergy Solutions. They are not affiliated with Bank of America, but are a hired marketing company. BoA was specifically not authorized to share my phone number and information. I was told it could take up to 30 days to remove my number from their call list. I gave them 7 or else they would be subject to DNC list violation. BoA will be losing my accounts over this.

They call almost daily, won't leave a message and won't tell my wife what they want.

They called again today and have been calling fortwice a day at least for a couple of months.

I put myself on the list not to receive calls from telemarketers, etc., yet I am still receiving calls from this number and a couple of others.

Bank of America credit monitoring service. Starts off "I assure you there is nothing wrong with your account".

then blah, blah, blah, I just let them keep talking... when they stop I say can you repeat that...then when they finish i say, I dont' understand can you explain it again....then just sit the phone down.

I called and the company is Synergy Solutions and they appear to be selling some Identity theft solution. They got my number from Bank of America. I told them to stop calling me. Now I can wait for the next person to call from another company. So much for the DNC list.

Getting calls, every so often, from this number. We don't answer and they don't leave a message.

I was in the shower when the phone rang...worried it was my husband who was out of town...got out dripping to see unfamiliar caller id...didnt answer...got back in shower and looked # up afterward...how annoying.

I called them back and figured out who it was. When I told them it was my cell phone they asked me to hold and hung up on me....

They call me at least once a week and don't leave a message. This website is great for figuring out who these annoying people are.

Idiots...they called, identified themselves as MBNA/Bank of America but asked for me by my maiden name....I informed them that this must be a sales call even though the caller stated no. I indicated I was not interested and hung up. I will go to bofa website and take myself off their marketing lists. Ugh.

They call me every day as "wyoming call" and won't leave a message nor tell me why they are calling - Annoying as h***

They have called everyday since the first of the year. My husband has MBNA/BOA card. They asked for him when I did answer. I have BOA card and they have never bothered me until now. Even though it is a joint account, they will not talk to me so that I can take our name off of the list

I am on a DNC list yet this number calls me everyday at different times and shows as Unknown Name Last time was 01/15/07 @ 10:47 am; 01/14/07 @ 2:03pm; 01/12/07 @ 12:43 pm - did not keep records of previous days calls

Have been getting these calls for several weeks now shows up as Powell, WY on the caller ID-We have accounts with BOA and MBNA...Thanks everyone for posting..We are opting out.

I have caller ID service and am on the Do Not Call list. Comes up as Powell, WY here for this number. Never leaves a message and has been calling twice daily the past week. I too had a MBNA card bought out by BoA and hate telemarketing. Cancelling this card when it is paid off. And I agree, give your phone number as NONE from now on.

The caller does not leave a msg. When someone does pick up and the caller is told that I am not home, they just hang up.

Began receiving calls from this number recently. They are apparently using an auto dialer that connects to you and then to a "representative" after you answer. I ALWAYS hang up on any call that does not have a person on the line as soon as I say "hello". I too, have a credit card that has transferred to these marketing maniacs.

America site bankofamerica.com and opted out...now let's see how long it takes to clear up the calls. BTW, you have to select the "set your preferences" or something similar, to get to this option.

MBNA / BofA makes sense.

This phone call was to my 80 yr old mom. She said that it was Bank of America wanting to help her with her credit report, and could she give them her personal info. Mom said no. I dialed *69 and got 307-764-8700. I decided to conduct a reverse search.

The guy claimed to be representing Bank of America, but he was a very slick talking New Yorker accent type and he wanted to speak with me about identity theft and how BoA was going to provide me a free credit report just to make sure I had not become a victim. I was VERY suspicious and asked him to tell me where he was calling from. He got flustered and said I already told you....Bank of America. I asked him again....where. Then he said Oh, you mean where. I said Ok, then what companyI think it finally dawned on him that I was trying to figure out the caller ID, so he made up some bs story about how the caller ID in his building sends the wrong text. Then he asked me to hold for a moment. I wasn't busy, so I agreed. When he came back, I asked "Sir, what do you want from me?" Without a word, he hung up. I really think he was an identity thief, but just not a very good one.

I rue the day BofA took over MBNA...MBNA never bothered me. BofA calls non-stop. What number do we call to get them to stop?

I have been recieving calls from Synergy Solutions on a daily basis for months. They never leave a message or respond if I answer.

Always amazes me how companies try to initiate a business relationship with me by ****ing me off and bugging the living ***t out of me. Yes, I feel much better now.

This site rocks. Thanks for all of your tips. After reading your comments, I waited for them to call again. I told them I knew who they were, and what they wanted. I was polite. I told her we weren't interested in any offers, to please take our number of their list, thanks for calling and have a Happy Holiday. Kill 'em with kindness.

It is a marketing firm working for Bank of America. THey can call you even if you are on the Do Not Call Registry because you do business with Bank of America (who has recently acquired MBNA).
You can call the phone number on the back of your credit card and ask to be removed (they were very nice when I did this) or you can go to bankofamerica.com and opt out of in-house marketing.

2nd or 3rd time they've called. The Caller ID always says "Synergy Solutions", who I don't recognize, so I never pick up. A quick Google search showed a website essentially offering outsourced telemarketingservices.

call received on 12/6/06 and 12/7/06 at around 5:40 p.m. Not home to answer.

Reading some comments, agree it is Synergy Sol's, whose business is telemarketing. They dared register themselves in the Do-Not-Call registry, which precludes filing a complaint against them. They are violating the law big time, via loophole real or made-up.

My caller ID said "Basin, WY" and I do have several MBNA accounts so I believe that it is BoA trying to sell me something. Adding them to my block list (SunRocket rocks!)

Got 3 calls on 11/24/2006. We were out of town, but saw the number on the caller ID. My wife has an MBNA card. If BOFA is trying pull some crap and sell us something, I will go insane on the poor soul who calls us back.

Sick and tired of these people calling. I am contacting Bank of America and threatening to close all accounts I have with them unless this stops

I do not answer the phone but it does get anoying that they keep calling. They always hang up on the machine.

It was not quick and painless for me until I called back and talked to a manager. I am also a case of having an account with MBNA and now tied to this nightmare called Bank of America and their incessant marketing plan.

Called asking for my husband, he will never answer the call because it just says Wyoming on the Caller ID.

We live just north of Detroit. This number shows up as Synergy Solutions. We usually let it ring but when we do pick up, there's no answer. They have called us everyday for at least a month or two--sometimes 2-3 times a day. We are on the national Do Not Call list so I have reported them.

Called the number back, person answered "Synergy Solutions". I asked to have number removed, she said it would take 30 days. It was quick and painless. They are calling for Bank of America, who took over my MBNA account.

I called it back and they said "synergy solutions" and claimed it will take 6-8 weeks to get me off their list. I swear I want to have NO phone number at all. I am starting to write "none" when I am asked for a phone number. Why should I share my number when it just gets abused?

This number keeps calling. MBNA gave up CC business and now it's BOFA trying to sell me credit Ins.

I have not been home to even attempt to answer the call, but this number is calling daily for the last week but never leaving a message. The only reverse lookup hit I've ever gotten is for Bank of America in Powell Wyoming, but I'm not sure this is reliable information. Since I'm on the federal do not call registry, I've filed a complaint at their website.

He wanted to sell me some identity protection service or something... one of those "we'll check your credit report for you and subscribe you to this service for 30 days; then we'll start charging you every month" things.

I am getting a similar number (307-764-8702), no message either. One of my credit cards orignally owned by MBNA was just aquired by BoA. The same thing happened when another credit card was aquired by Chase. I kept getting marketing calls from Chase, no message until I dial the number back and went through an automated removal process.
