How do I stop them from calling?
- Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
- If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the FTC.
- Block them with a call blocker:
Uniden DECT1288 blocks up to 20 numbers, plus Private and Unknown, with the reject tone, without ringing the phone.
Panasonic KX-TG106 blocks up to 30 numbers, plus all unidentified callers, with a busy tone, after the phone rings once.
JF Teck Caller ID with Ring Controller blocks up to 70 numbers, and can be set to always allow up to 100 to ring through.

election research recorded message
Obvious scam
Same type of prerecorded message, from "Cardholder Services" but it says "Out of Area" with no number
Prerecorded - about reducing interest rate.
What displayed on my CID was "Connection Spee" (probably a partial name). Recorded MESSage about debt. I hung up on it. Called back with my # blocked. Says they do not accept inbound calls. Hope they bust this scam. My guess is they're phishing.
I got a call from this number a few days ago. I didn't answer b/c I didn't recognize the number (305-821-0725). This morning, however, I started getting calls from another Florida-based number: 386-538-7500; the caller ID message for this number says Jacksonville, Florida. I entered tha number in the Google search engine and found many complaints there, so I decided to look up the 305-821-0725 # too to see if there was any info. I don't know if those numbers are associated or if those people are sharing a call-list, or what, but it's odd that all of the sudden, I'm getting calls from Florida.
connection spee
no one answered when I answered it
i have "do not call"
Prerecorded: same as rest
I pushed 1, I ask who in the hell they where, the guy got mad and hung up.
On my caller ID, no message
just FL 305-821-0725
The message sounded a little odd especially when i realized that it didn't even say the credit card company but i realized that i didn't even owe any money thats when i GOOGLED THE NUMBER IT ENDED UP COMING UP AS A scam !!!!!!!!!!!!!
The message was the exact words i actually thought that this was sreious but i knew i did not! owe anything i GOOGLED the it came up saying that it was a SCAM!!!!!!!!
I just got the same thing from this number. Obviously, "Rachel" is pre-recorded, so I hung up, tried to call the number back and got a "this number is not in service."
Told the guy I had over 25k in debt and he said he could help me reduce my rate to 6.9%. Askede for my number and I said well, what is the name of your company, and he said Card Services,. I told him I would need to check his company out first and he hung up on me. That pissed me off, so I called: 321-397-3200 and spoke with Amanda. She said they will remove my number from all of their databases (yeah right) 10 minutes later I got the call again.
I contacted the Fl Atty Generals office and was told they had a large file on them and that a class action suit is in the making. I would recommend you all give them a call to make them pay out the ass for this harrassment.

Left no message. Don't know them, never got a call before
They've changed tactics (though they're still violating the Do Not Call rules). Today the recording claimed that my car warranty was about to expire--it actually expired 250,000 miles ago (I drive a lot)--and I could talk to them about purchasing an extended warranty.
Fortunately, after I pressed 1 to try to tell them "Go away", another menu option was presented for being put on their Do Not Call list. I used that option, but the government will still hear about this!
Call from 305-821-0725, I didn't recognize so I didn't answer it. 1 minute later I got an Unknown caller from 425-562-3215. I also did not answer thinking it was from the same scammers.
I pressed 1 to talk to a rep after the recorded msg told me the following. Recording says that she is calling to offer a lower rate of interest on my credit card. She does not say which one however. When I ask the rep this question, the phone is disconnected. This sounds like some kind of scam which many unsuspecting people might get invovled with. this person is not affected by the Do Not Call List requirement if he is working on an individual basis from his own computer.
Won't leave message-- filed complaint with donotcall.gov
Got a call from "Rachel" and pressed "1" to speak to a rep. I had the dumb cunt on the phone for 27 minutes giving her the wrong Visa #, the wrong M/C #, I acted deaf, old and confused. The stupid bitch must have really thought that she had a sucker on the line if she kept trying for almost 1/2 hour. She finally hung up when I somehow became lucid enough to ask her if I could stick my tongue in her ass and my dick in her mouth.
I reported this to local police department, this phone# goes to an apartment building. listed to :Ezequiel Gonzalez (305) 821-0725 10090 NW 80th Ct, Hialeah, FL 33016
what a great site this it... googled the number and found this. wasn't anyone on the line, though, no credit card scams for me!
Called me, didn't answer. Didn't leave message. I'm on Nat'l & State DNC lists, but I guess these guys slipped through.
showed up on caller ID - no message
Called once that I remember but left no message. Caller ID says Florida and the number.
Recorded caller. Pressed 1 for 'live' service rep. Asked him why is he calling? He replied, it was a computer generated call. I mentioned I am on do not call list and that he was violating federal law. I asked to speak to his supervisor. He took my phone #, said "Have a good day." I waited for supervisor, got a dial tone. As others stated, the prerecorded call said I qualified for some sort of low interest rate. I am indignant.
R'cvd a call from this number stating Connection speed. The person didn't leave a message but it seemed odd that I would be receiving a call from FL. If they call again, I won't answer.
When the voicemail comes on for the main number, just press 0 for the office assistant. She is very helpful
I called back on the number 305-821-0725 as listed by a previous blogger. I requested a supervisor and was treated rudely. The rep. connected me to, of all places, Discover Card. Discover Card gave me the number of what was on her caller ID. I called that number and spoke to the General Manager of this company. The name of the company is Accent Consulting. I decribed the call prompts and it was determined they own 305-821-0725. The General Manager confirmed that they have an office in Hialeah, Florida. The main phone number for Accent Consulting is 321-397-3200. The general manager seemed sincere and he listened to the call that I had taped where the operator used obsenities and vulgarities. If you have problems with this company, Call 321-397-3200 and ask for the General Manager. Try to tape the call if it is legal in your state.
I tried calling back the initial number and got telco message that the number is not in service for incomming calls.
I selected the option to talk to a rep and got a man who would not tell me which of my CCs he was calling about and when I asked to have my number removed from their calling lists he hung up in mid sentence.
I received a call from the same number and upon my insistance to be removed from their calling list, the rep. started using profanity and vulgar language. I have the call recorded as it is legal in my state to tape provided one in the party is aware. He refused to give me the name and address of the company. I have contacted my telephone company and the successfully traced the call. I have prepaid legal and because of the vulgar language I will pursue legal action. They WILL NOT violate my rights. I am on the do not call list.

We were not home. Saw number on caller ID. Looked up on Google.
A reverse number lookup says the number belongs to:
Ezequiel Gonzalez (305) 821-0725 10090 NW 80th Ct, Hialeah, FL 33016
Simon and K Culp have it verbatim... to a tee. This call came in on my cell my phone. I thought it seemed off and wierd that they did not say which credit card company they were with. I pressed 1 and was on hold with this HORRIBLE music that sounded like someone was holding a phone up to some awful radio station - no body answered the phone and the call got disconnectd
I also received a call from this number today. I am pleased to see this website! And I will continue to post these types of calls! I saw a link to government officials and I put a complaint in to them myself.
Here is a link to ALL of our local officials in NY visi.com
We all need to stand up to these sick individuals! This website will be a great place to start!
I am a disabled, single mother and I will not stand for people stealing our LIVES! The lives we have all worked so hard for. We will not put up with their lies and stealing. We will FIGHT BACK! Look out - because we will find you and I will also be putting a complaint in to the Miami area officials as well because I traced the number to a land line in the Miami area.
You will all be tracked down soon! Get a real job and get a real life! Stop trying to STEAL ours!
I got a call from this number and pressed 1 to hear their spiel. I was disconnected and received a return phone call from 321-397-3236 which is the same number that you are directed to when you press 1.
I don't answer any 1-800 numbers or any that won't tell me who is calling.
Same message as previously reported, "credit call company", but I don't have a major credit card. Reported number to donotcall.gov, as I'm on the list.
It kind of Galls me that these guys are so arrogant that they feel that the DNC list doesn't apply to them. I never had any trouble with telemarketers UNTIL those idiots in Washington passed this @! law. Send your Congressman and both Senators an email every time these jerks call and maybe Washington will get the message and do something more. Like have someone act on all the complaints we're filing. visi.com
It's a scam. They will go to jail soon. I wonder how many poor trusting old ladies willingly give their information. Shame.
I got a call from this number on my Caller Id also. I called it back and got "this number is not in service for incoming calls" also. I am on the do not call list so I just went to report it.
I didn't answer the cal, but called it back to see what company answered, and I got a recording saying "this number is not in service for incoming calls"
Husband answered the phone & said it was a recording, stating it was about our credit card but basically same as everyone else has been getting, he hung up before it was over. I called the # back and I a "please leave a message" from a man named Jessie...I will also report it to "Do Not Call" list.
This number rang at 10:29am on 03/20/07. There was no sound until I said hello, and an automated female voice starts pushing lowering my interest rates on credit cards. I hung up after 3 seconds.
I have Caller ID but was working and picked up the phone in a rush. they asked or me by my last name and I told them that the person didn't live here anymore -they were not pleased with that.
My phone rang 3 times and then disconnected. I suspect they have called before.
My wife got a call from them today. They would not identify who they were or give a good call back number. When my wife asked to speak with a supervisor, she was hung up on. If ANYONE knows what company this is or has any solid information about them, please email us at j_t_aj@yahoo.com so we can forward the information to the appropriate federal and state agencies. We are on both the national and state do not call lists and are not supposed to get calls from companies like this.
Unidentified recorded message advertising re- finance. Press #1 to talk to a rep or #9 to have name removed from list.I hung up
They called. Did not answer. Saw name and number on caller ID.
Message on caller ID said FLORIDA CALL. No message left on answering machine. Filed a complaint at donotcall.gov
I received a call from this number, no one answered me when I said hello.
Called again! I was 2nd on this last on 3/14/07. # is already registered on donotcall list. Reported the # last time. Reported again this time. If there is a 3rd time, there is no telling who or what I may do. I mean, it's a phone and I can't do much. But please, bring me the person on the other end of this phone and I will show them a grand old time. I PROMISE.
Got a call from this number, but I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message. I then called the number back and it said that this number can't receive incoming calls. What the f***!!
I had a live person. very nice. But wanted card numbers no way was I going to do that. I too am on the no call list.
Showed on caller ID, but didn't leave a message.
Prerecorded: "Hello. This Rachel, Cardholder services, calling in reference to your current credit card account. There are no problems currently with your account, however, it is urgent that you contact us concerning lowering your eligibility for lowering your interest rates to as little as 6.9%..." I am on Do Not Call list also and am going to complain.
Can the phone company please stop these scammers? This is ridiculous. WHo falls for this BS?

Same as everybody else - a recording about credit - & I too reported to DoNotCall List
This was the second time that I received a call from this number within the last few days. The first time, it showed up on my caller ID as "unknown. The second time I was in the process of dialing another number so it automatically forwarded to me cell. I recoognized the recording but, this time, I got the number. It has been reported to the National Do Not Call Registry as both of my number are on that list.
Came home to number on Caller ID, no message left.
I also recieved an illegal call, as I am on a do not call registry. I would start making some phone calls. Maybe contacting your state attorney general's office? Who else?
Same thing - pre-recorded "Hi this is Rachel", identifying herself as being with "Card Services"
I hit option 1, and spoke to a representative.
He asked for my name
I asked him what company he represented, and said that the recording did not indentiy the credit card company in question
He said "We're Consumer Services of Orlando Florida", and admitted not having a prior business relationship with me.
I informed him that I was on the Do Not Call Registry
He said that a computer called my phone, and that he needed my name and phone number to ensure that this company would not call me again
He also refused to give me the physical address of the company he represented.
I've filed a complaint with the Do Not Call Registry
JUNK
Same crap. Turned in a complaint to Do Not Call Registry.
Caller ID takes care of these calls. I don't even bother picking up the phone.
Yes, exact same thing, twice today. I hung up on them both times. When I search Google for the number it come up one Ezekiel Gonzales, of Hialeah, FL! ???
Called once but left no message. Not sure who they are
call today from this number Hialeah FL - no message - just # on id
called first time today and only one time, left no message, just number on caller id
Repeated Calls from this number on my caller ID today but no message on voicemail. We have 'Donotcall' but makes no damn difference!
I gotta tell you. Coming home to this kind of garbage voicemail has got to stop. I don't even have any credit card debt, and am on every no call list known to man. Some states have anti-dialer laws for sales calls like this, really wish there was a better way of ridding ourselves of these people. If you look up the number in google's phone book it actually shows some dude's name in Florida, which is equally odd. Maybe it's just one clown in his house with a computer dialer leaving messages.
Called once (so far) but left no message. Not sure who they are - says Florida Call.
"Prerecorded: "Hi, this is Rachel." Then she says that she is with my credit card company, yet she does not mention the actual company name! She says that I am eligible for a lower interest rate if I have X amount of debt. Excuse me... but My REAL credit card company would know the amount I owe! Then she says that this offer was only for a limited time and that I need to act fast. I am then given the option to talk to a rep by pressing 1 or for no more notices, press 3. Well pressing 3 only made the recording start over! I hung up."
SAME EXACT THING. WORD FOR WORD. COULDN'T HAVE DESCRIBED IT BETTER MYSELF.
