These criminal telemarketers illegally leave fake information on your Caller ID. The only way to stop them from calling you again and again (using different spoofed Caller ID info each time) is to report them using their real identities.

Information on how to do this can be found at the only web site whose focus is to do just that: heatherwithaccountservices.com .

Please take a few min and file a complaint with fcc.gov , ftc.gov , and Your States Attorneys General.

if you, as a result of receiving one of the "Heather" calls, have ever had any actual transactional dealings with any of the companies possibly behind or somehow related to this scam.

If you have conversed in detail with the representatives of any of these companies about their services or, more importantly, gone so far as to receive written materials in the mail that contain identifying information such as names of company reps and return mailing addresses, or have ever been charged service fees on your credit card by any of them, please email the details to the aforementioned address. On web sites like this one where people have been complaining about receiving these "Heather" calls, there are posts from people who have had such contact with some of these companies. If you are one of those people, please email the details to the aforementioned address. Action is underway in several state and federal law enforcement agencies intended to shut the real culprits down and sort out the innocent parties (if there are any) at the same time.

I got called yesterday and they wanted my VIN number and insurance number but didn't know what kind of car I had to extend the warranty on. Every question I asked her referred to a specialist, but wouldn't transfer the call until he got the requested information on my vehicle. All I could get from him was the company was Auto Protection Center in Miami.

I just got a call from a company called "Consumer Services With Visa And Mastercard". It was the call about my credit cards and getting a lower rate, press one to talk. After being on hold, the operator identified himself as Samuel Williams. When I said I was on the Do Not Call List, he said that the computer was having problems. When I asked him for the complete legal name of his company, he hung up.

Today, I received two calls from Unknown Name, Unknown Number. The number that was called is on all the DNC lists (Federal and Texas).

The first one came in around 5:30pm for credit card low interest with a deceptive message about running out of time for my account to take advantage of low interest rates. I pressed two which supposedly would have my number removed from the list.

The second one came in at 6:00pm and used the exact same technology, VRU voice, etc. except this time it was for my car warranty that was about to expire. This time I played along to get as much information as I could. I gave them a fake name and my address and confirmed my phone number. They wanted my VIN # and I told them it would take me time to dig that up and that I had to go. They told me I could find more information on the web at autoprotectioncenter.com but that was a bogus address. But I did find them here:

I plan on continuing my sharade (sp?) until I can get something sent to me in the mail. If that fails, I will harass Heather/Ivonne/Dexter!

They called my parents house and said that because my mother had such a great credit score, they could help her lower her intrest rates. He even asked her to give him her credit card names and numbers. He had a strong middle eastern accent. Luckily she was smart enough to hang up.

Got call on my cell phone, pressed 1 to lower my interest rate on credit card. Pressed it because I wasn't happy, told the guy I wanted off whatever list they had. He was rude and acted like I called him. Sounds like scam to me-never did say what company it was.

These jerks call me all the time with "information about my credit cards". I haven't had a credit card in around 10 years.

Argh! I've been getting these calls about credit card reduction and car warranty coverage for weeks. I do not have caller id, but when I *69, I got 305-758-9297. Called it and got the not in service message. Anyway, today I selected the #1 option and spoke to a rep. When I demanded a phone number and address of her company she gave me, 212-201-3515. When you call the number, you get a rude and obscene message that goes on and on and then says your call is being routed to a foreign country and you'll be charged $19.99 per minute. I called my phone company to complain. They say they'll remove any charges but can't help otherwise. The address I was given ws 155 International in Marrietta Georgia. Probably fake, too. The phone company told me the 212 number is in NYC and the 305 is in Miami, but if they are able to generate fake caller ID's, I guess there is no hope. I guess I'll just give them fake info next time they call just to waste some of their time!

This is a company who claims to be calling to offer you interest savings on major credit cards, but they want your card number, last four of your social, etc. and when I pressed them about what they were offering, they got nasty with me! These calls all started about a month ago, shortly after posting resumes to Monster and Career Builders. Any similar expierence out there? Could be that's where they are phishing ur numbers from.

An automated message about lowering credit card interest rate. I press 1 to speak to someone and ask them their company name. He says "Card Services." I ask to be removed from the list and he hangs up on me.

I pushed 1 and they wanted my vehicle information. I told them to take me off the call list and they hung up on me.

I kept getting calls from this phone number. I tried to dial 1, then told them to put me on their do not call list. They called again today, I pressed 1,
asked who they were, told them to stop calling me. The guy told me they were Winn Dixie Natural Spring Water. I said, "so, a spring water company
is selling credit cards?'. "Yeah", he says, then hangs up.

I got a call from this number again today. Fifth time so far. When I dialed "1" as promted to speak to a customer service rep, I asked the person the name of the company she worked for, she hung up. It's a scam.. DO NOT PROVIDE ANY INFORMATION TO THESE PEOPLE. YOU WILL REGRET IT.

It advises me this is a limited time offer.
It gives no credit card company name. It gives no account holder name.
It is more than likely one of those credit card theft places, or identity theft places.

Called our landline this afternoon, left no message. Called back out of curiosity, and got a voice--in a slight southern accent--that the number was no longer in service.

Two calls in same day. First from Warranty Service stating that warranty on automobile was expiring and must press 9 to obtain extended warranty. Second was because of high credit card interest and must press 1 to obtain lower rate. Pressed 1 and she asked if I had been transferred because of high credit card interest rates. I asked the company name and she said "Financial Services" working "with your credit card company." I asked which credit card that was and she said, "all of them." I asked if she was a telemarketer and she hung up.

I've gotten this call a million times, usually from an unavailable number. when I have answered I have told the person that I am on the DO NOT CALL list and they have been rude and hung up on me. I dont' even have a car!!!

Rec'd a call from this number in afternoon. It was a recording from "account services." I hung up and dialed *69 to get the number. I receive this call every week or so.

Automated recording says, "Hi this is Heather from Account services..." Heather proceeds to tell me that there is a problem with my credit card and I can fix it via her limited time offer. The recording ends by saying, "Press 1 to be connected to an agent, or press 2 to be removed from the call list." I pressed 2 and got a confirmation message that I was now on the do not call list. This is the SAME recording I have been receiving calls from all year - at least twice a month. Each time, I press 2 to be removed from the call list, yet the call continued.

Called saying I won a vacation package and to either press 9 to get off the call list or press 1 to continue with the vacation. I pressed 1 and the man ask for my name. I told the man if I won a vacation you tell me who won, and he said it was the number that won, and then I hung up the phone.

Got a call from Heather at Account Services (Most of us know her from other phone numbers). Since these people call on a regular basis, just for fun, I gave the phone to my 18-year old so he could play with them. He needs experience dealing with scam artists. They were looking for Credit Card number, VIN number, expiration date, mothers maden name, social security number... He happily answered these questions with bogus answers. At the end, caller was informed that he was being played with. Caller responded with a series of profanities. Love it when we can get their tail a wagging, and cut them off at the knees. hahaha

No need to look up the number and complain, these criminals are faking their caller ID so whoever you find and report is an innocent victim. The + on the front is a dead giveaway, that is supposed to mean international. Some are even formatted as if they are international (and you just know telemarketers will be calling you from another country, don't you?). Oddly, this gang/group is the only ones I've ever seen do this. I'm actually much *less* likely to answer a call I think is international, not more. What re they thinking!? Bozos. They should die a horrible death. With nasty, big, pointy teeth.

I just got a call from 305-758-9297. My phone number is in the "Do not call" directory for years, so I filed a complaint on donotcall.gov.

When I answered, it was a rude recording about my car warranty expiring. Option to push 1 to speak to someone or 2 to disconnect. I pushed 1 and within 30 seconds a male picked up. All he said was, "can I have the make and model of your vehicle." Rude voice. I asked "who is this?" and he hung up.

Call came in this evening at 7:51 PM - tried to call the number back at 8:15 PM and received a message that this number was no longer in service. In 20 minutes it's out of service? Give me a brake.

Reporting this number to the DNC is a waste of time because the number is bogus and this scam has been going on for over a year using different Caller ID numbers (and has been reported as such numerous time to the DNC and FCC folks. It seems that the DNC and FCC folks do not have the investigative powers to track down the culprits (even though I believe I did so as stated in one of my posts above) despite having the technology and power to monitor any personal phone call you make or receive in its war on terrorism. Our tax dollars don't seem to protect us against real everyday threats like these scammers.

Incidentally, Fred is a member of CIVILIAN INVESTIGATIVE PANEL FOR MIAMI DADE COUNTY. They are an appointed law enforcement body. Go figure!!

They called me on my mobile number and asked for me talk press one (1) to renewal my trucks warranty. When someone did answer they asked for my Truck model and year. When I ask them i have several cars which one are you calling about? The male that was on the other line just hung up.

Don't deal with these people if they call you, it is a SCAM. The guy hung up on me when I asked him what account he was referring to, in reference to lowering my interest rate. He told me he was calling from Credit Card Services when I asked him his company's name.

I have received calls several times from this number. The recording states the vehicle I am driving is about to loose the warranty...I don't listen past that msg. Interestingly However, we have our home, office and cell phone numbers on the do not call list. It doesn't prevent this number from getting through. When I tried to call the 305-758-9297 number back it says the number is disconnected and no longer in service. I reported it to our local telephone company and they are unable to help either. It was suggested we google the number to come up with the name of the business and then go on to the do not call website and report it.
It appears there is no clear answer to correct or report this! :-(

The numbers they are using that appear on your Caller ID are spoofed and not real. The female member of this criminal pack whop uses the name "Heather" and sometimes "Michelle" reportedly has made the mistake of calling people back apparently from her real telephone number, 425-336-4620, which is registered with Level 3 Communications to a Britten Dunford in the Seattle, WA area.

(By the way, a trick is to act extremely interested in their sales pitch but keep complaining that the phone connection is bad and for them to please call you back. If they do and they're sloppy (like "Heather/Michelle" apparently has been), then you get their real number on your Caller ID.

What I don't understand is how the authorities can't seem to do anything about this long-running scam, especially if a person with an address like Britten Dunford, can be found with just a few minutes of Internet search time. Why can't they raid her place and arrest her?

"Heather someone" called as a computer generated message and told me I was getting my finance charges reduced but not on what account and I don't have any! I was told to press 1 as this is my final call. I pressed 1 to speak to a representative and then listened to music for a while and then was told I was first in line and then was told the call was being disconnected due to not being answered. When I called back the number is now disconnected!!!!!

I have pushed the option 2 several times over the last 3 months to have my name removed from their call list. They still call back. I pushed one today and got a live person who asked for my name. I told them , "No you may not have my name, what is your name, company name, and managers name?" I called the number back, and the recording says "you've reached a number that has been disconnected, or is no longer in service." I called this number now, 3:23PM EST. Most likely some scam.

Obviously, this is a identity theft scam. The bait is an offer for lowering credit card interest rates. The scam is getting you to divulge personal account information. Somehow, they have called me at home and on my cell phone..both numbers listed on the national Do Not Call Registry. When I asked the caller the name of his company, he said he works for all credit card companies. When I asked the name of the company that issues his paycheck, he told me it was none of my business and began insulting me and called me an idiot. He hung up on me.

I have been dealing with the same issues as all the issues listed here, The FCC should be dealing with this and working on stopping these useless calls, I get an average of 1 call per week. I have pressed 1 and 2 and no change. Calls just keep coming and these people are very nasty when asked questions. Call your attorney general, the fcc, and the attorney general of Florida. That is my recommendation.

when i picked up the phone i got a canned "this is heather calling about your credit card account. [didn't name the card] there are no issues with your card at this time but please stay on the line as a customer representative needs to talk with you about your account information."

This scam deals with credit cards. When I hit 1 option to speak with live person, I then ask who is repsonsible for putting my number on Do Not Call - THEY HANG UP!.

This was a recorded message from a gal named Heather. She said she was from Cardmember Services and that there was nothing wrong with my credit card account (she didn't name it) but said I should call her to reduce the amount of interest on my card. I pushed random numbers on my phone in an attempt to confuse their recording and hung up before she left any number for me to call. After I hung up I dialed *69 to find out who the last caller was and it gave me the number of: 305-758-9297. We have gotten this same call several times before! They need to stop! We have our name and number on the Do Not Call list. Is there anything else we can do?

Call started as a robot call to press one, then a live person came on and tried to gain my personal information. I told them I didn't feel comfortable telling them that and I wanted a different number I could call them back on. Discussion ended.

I am on the Do-Not-Call list but these people have been calling me repeatedly since sometime during 2006. I have repeatedly asked, begged, and demanded that they remove me from their list but they won't.

You can add as many numbers as you want and even program it to have ALL 800, 888, 877, & 866 numbers dumped straight into the answering machine. I’ve had it about three weeks and love it. Repeated calls from this number on my cell phone. Recorded voice advises "my auto warranty is about to expire" (not) Everytime I receive a call I report it through the Do Not Call list-never seems to do any good though.

I get this call frequently, only today did I get a hangup. Today they have called twice in the last hour. Usually it is a recorded message telling me there is a problem with my credit card and hold for information about how to consolidate my credit cards. I have used the "dial 2 to be removed from this list" option at least a dozen times. When I dialed 1 to be connected to a sales person, as soon as I said I wanted to be removed from the list he hung up on me. I have reported this to the do not call registry. Continuous calls, about 2-5 times a week. sometimes about random vehicle warranty that is nonexistent, and most recently about lowering interest rates on loans and credit cards. Im tired of it and am reporting to the Alabama Attorney General. Watch out! This SCREAMS SCAM!

Called this morning at 9:16 didn't leave a message. Called back and the line said it was no longer working.. huh??

1st call i've received from this number. They called my cel phone. I let ring into my v/m
but they did'nt leave a message.

Call came in. I answered. The recording was for a auto warranty renewal. Pressed one to speak with someone. He came on. I said to take my name off of their list. He hung up! I called back and received a messege stating that the number has been disconnected?!!!

I saw on another website that this may be a scam somehow where they try to get information from you or use your phone line. Others say it's a telemarketer who may be phishing for info. Anyhow, one way or another it's not a call I would want to answer.

I've been receiving calls from this number recently. No name, late in the evening, and never leave a message.

imperative you call back to get your interest rate on your credit card lowered. Call back no answer.

They called today at 3:48 pm and did not leave a message. It seems that some people do not respect the national do not call list.

I reported them to DNC. Next time I will ask them to hold while I answer call waiting. and leave them in suspense till they hang up.

Got call this afternoon. Man said our car warranty is about to expire and we need to renew. Our car has been paid for for 8 yrs. and is 10 yrs. old. Caller ID said Miami, FL. My husband hung up on him.

Female voice recording claiming "Congratulations you have won a free vacation. To claim your vacation press 9 now. To be removed from all lists press 8. Again to claim your vacation press 9." Of course I hung up and looked the number up here. If it really is Val Valparaiso I'll be taking them to small claims court for my easy 600 bucks.

when i pressed one to find out about "how i could lower my interest rate" she then said how can i help you- i asked well you called me , can you tell me the credit card company you are with and she hung up yet again....

I have asked these people to take me off their list twice but they called a third time today. Similar to others here, when pressed even just for the name of their company they hang up. Are they having laugh??? I managed to keep one of their sales people on the phone for a while last time, asking over and over how, if I were interested, which I might be, I could engage in doing business with a company whose employees aren't allowed to reveal who they work for. I figure I might as well take up their time and increase the cost of their phone call if I feel in the mood!

Automated message saying, "We are calling about your credit cards. There is no problem with your accounts; we just want to make sure you have sufficient credit available..." I hung up without listening to the rest of it. I'm on the do not call list. Can't we sue these jerks for violating the law?

When I hung up on caller...Michelle, she called back and said I was a bitch - the number she called from was 425-336-4620

Automated message saying that I won something and to press 9 to claim my prize ... pressed nine and proceeded to prank the operator with one a Arnold Swarz soundboard. This guys are a scam w/ spoofed numbers. The FCC really should do something about broadband telephone systems & spoofed number abilities!!

I get a call every damn day from this number. By the time I get to the phone, they hang up. They don't leave a message on my machine. I am already registered with the DO NOT CALL registry but that doesn't seem to matter. How can I get them to stop calling my house?

I get this number twice a day (0113057589297). It is a scam. Don't answer or if you do, don't press any numbers. They are phishing for valid phone numbers too.

It's originally an automated phone that wants you to press one to continue with a representative. I wanted to see what this was all about "lowering" my interest rates for card of which i do not own. The first time the man i talked with immediately hung up when I asked what company this was and how the had got my number. Then I received a second one today I did the same thing to try and get some information, but when I talked with this man i tried to seem somewhat interested to get some info from him. Not sounding too bright he answered my questions that they are "Card Services" and that he only answers the phones so he doesn't know where they got my number from. When I told him that it was a violation of the Do not call he actually listened to me till the end and just hung up. He also said they are a service for master card and visa to lower your interest rates. Though if they are working for master card or visa if you own one or have within the last 18 months they are allowed to call without violation of the Do not call. Though it seems to be more of a scam the number is not only linked to these possibly credit card schemes but also have been found that with this number may try to link into your phone to make calls to Africa and other regions like that. Number is traced to Miami FL and to an actual person, I don't know if that name has any affiliation with the calls though. Just thought i would give everyone a heads up (basically just don't answer and block the number if you can)

Called my cell phone 11:58 AM 3/26/2008 PST - automated message about an offer to lower the interest rate on my credit card, press 1 to speak to an operator. Obviously this was a scam (as they're calling my cell, illegal in itself, however it's also listed on Do Not Call anyways) so I wanted to get some more information to file a complaint. After pressing 1, the phone rang about ten times, and was answered by "Thomas". He immediately begins his script, "If you're like most people, you probably carry over $4000 in unsecured debt." - at which point I should have agreed, however I don't and didn't feel like lying to him. He immediately hung up on me when I said "No, but what are you offering?". If you try to call this number back, you'll get the tri-tones stating the number is not in service. Very shady. I hope someone is able to obtain more information about who these people are.

Have called twice today and no message left. Tried to call them back right away and after ringing a billion times it said that this phone number is disconnected. Ridiculous!

The call comes through as an "out of Area". They probalby want you to give them all your information so they can steel your identity or fraudulantly charge your cc accout. for security reasons its best that you DO NOT GIVE ANY INFORMATION for unsolitited called.

Received a recorded call about my credit cards (don't have any) and that I could get a lower interest rate (don't need it). When I attempted to call the number back I got a "This number has been disconnected" message. BTW, they called me on my cell phone.

This bunch calls all the time trying to get you to switch credit cards. They are in violation of the Do Not Call list but you cannot get enough info to turn them in.

call came in at 9:37 this morning... I answered it because I have been getting way too many of these types of long distance calls from so many different phone numbers in the past couple of weeks... I just wanted to see for myself what's the story... it was a recorded message that basically stated to press 1 for a lower interest rate or 2 to receive no future calls from them... naturally, I pressed 2 and was informed that my number was removed from their call list... that's it... let's see if that works...

I keep getting these calls! I have pressed whatever number it is to have my number removed, it doesn't work. Today I told the guy I had asked them to remove my number from their calling list, and I was on the do not call list. I hung up on them this time. I have also found that if you start asking to many questions they hang up on you! They supposedly will "help" you lower your credit card interest rates.

We get this call every day. When I finally stayed on the line to see what it was about, the recording told me to "press 1" if I wanted to get a lower interest rate on a credit card I already had. Of course, that was not it at all. They wanted me to switch over my cards. When I asked the woman what the name of the company was, she said "financial services". When I asked for their real name, she hung up.

Called yesterday and today, no message left.
