How do I stop them from calling?
- Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
- If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the
FTC. - Block them with a call blocker:
Uniden DECT1288 blocks up to 20 numbers, plus Private and Unknown, with the reject tone, without ringing the phone.
Panasonic KX-TG106 blocks up to 30 numbers, plus all unidentified callers, with a busy tone, after the phone rings once.
JF Teck Caller ID with Ring Controller blocks up to 70 numbers, and can be set to always allow up to 100 to ring through.

They called me for the second time in 4 days. When I tried to play into them and get information about the company...they hung up on me. I am on the National and State do not call lists. If I find out who they are..they will be sued!

Sounds the same...They called me and an automated voice told me my interest rate could be lowered. I pressed one and was put on hold. Then a guy answers and I kept asking what specific card and he first said "any credit card like Visa, Master Card, and American Express" and the second time, he started naming off popular banks and credit cards. The first question was about how much debt was I in. He knew my last name as well. I did not provide any information, told them I don't trust them, and hung up.
I tried to call the number back and it said it could not be reached from this country. I found on Google that it was a Canada number.
1-305-696-3837 called me today, 11/17/08. I called the number back and got a recording that the number was disconnected...
Got a call from this number that said "this call is in regards to your credit card" (they did not say WHICH credit card ..hmm sounds real honest) then they said that my current interest rate is about to expire. I caould stay on the line and talk to someone to lower my rates .. or .. this is the last/final/only notification I would get.. Oddly.. apparently the first and last.. Uh huh.. I am on the no call list. :(
I've complained to National Do Not Call Registry about this scammer at least 2 times,
but (of course) nothing happens. It is so frustrating to get this call when
I'm bathing my kid or trying to let him sleep. Really, why can't Fed slam them?

Call from 308-696-3837. Call claimed to be from Consumer Card Services. Caller ID said Miami. Caller identified himself as John. Total scam. Next stop the Federal Gov't...

Got recorded message about lower interest rates & pressed "1" and asked the person who answered "Consumer Services" what company he represented. He then said "any credit company like Visa, Master Card or American Express". He hung up when I said I had no need of his services and was asking to be put on a "do not call list". (I.e., he did not honor my request not to be called again.)
Google "American Debt Negotiators". That's the Florida-based scammer behind these calls, and they should be reported to the authorities as such.
This was an unsolicited, automated call from "Heather" about my "credit card" and how my low interest rate was about "to expire."
I listened to the message, then chose "1," got connected to a LIVE operator who tried to sell me a credit card with a "lower interest rate."
The LIVE operator hung up on me when I said to never call me again.

More than likely this is the Florida-based scam company American Ddebt Negotiators (just Google their name and see for yourself), and they should be reported to the FCC, FTC, Florida State Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services and your own state's Attoenrys General office as such using the information provided on the web site heatherwithaccountservices.com.
They are breaking numerous state and federal laws with each and every call, including using fake Caller ID numbers, placing unsolicited, recorded advertisements on peoples home, work and cell phones (including ones on state and federal Do Not Call lists), making verbal threats, refusing to properly identify who they are, etc., etc.

Called to lower the interest on my credit accounts. What good is the Nat'l 'Do Not Call' registry?
I keep getting calls from this company and I press 1 to speak to a rep and as soon as you say that your number is on the do not call list they just hang up. I have also stayed on a pressed whatever it was to remove the number and that doesn't work either.
I called this number right after I missed their call. A message comes on that says the number has been disconnected or is no longer in service. Yeah, right.
I got a call from this number, Caller ID showed it up as Call Center, FL. Did not answer and it did not leave a msg.
received call from this number 305-696-3787. An automated msg. was heard saying "this is" (could not make out name of company)! Msg. went on to say "this call is in regards to your credit card" Then the call hung up very quick! I DON'T HAVE ANY CREDIT CARDS!
thank goodness for caller ID. I don't know how this was calling me so I refused to answer it. I don't know anyone in Miami Fl.
