They scamed me and owe me moneyand kep hanging up on me and saying its comming in my account. I called the BBB what do I do know??????????

This company is a scam. Wentzville Missouri called National Auto Warranty Services And everyone still should contact BBB and the Attorney General of MO to help aid in this Law Suite.

This company used a predictive dialer based out of Florida so that it looks as if you are getting a call from Florida, when actually the call is coming from Wentzville MO. the company has now switched their name to US FIDELIS...they have been Dealer services, National Auto warranty, enaws and now US Fidelis. their commercials run on BET television and they are a rip OFF>>>>>

Got a call today from "consumer services"

I called the 305 number today and it put me in touch with Anna Jenkins, an 80 year old grandmother who is very very sweet and she told me that people were calling her all the time about this and she had reported it to the phone company. She has not been receiving calls lately (except mine). I really hope they catch these a-holes and fine the hell out of them.

I've been getting these calls constantly lately. I press 8 to be taken off their list, but their system never recognizes that action, so three times I've spoken to an operator to tell them that I want to be taken off their list. Last two times, they hung up on me. I just reported them to donotcall.gov

Same thing. Got the call for the 2nd or 3rd time and decided to press 1 and see if I could identify the company. They hung up on me after they figured out I was probing. Tried the *57 with Verizon and they said the number was traced and to call an 800 number to report it to the Verizon Nusiance call center, but they're not currently open to take the complaint. Also filed with donotcall.gov complaint and attorney general of FL. I like the idea of calling their 800 number from a pay phone. That cost about 50cents for the 1st minute and some more for each minute after.

I basically know how companies like this work. When you go shopping or inside of a department store (for example: Marshalls) and they ask you for your phone number (& you provide it), this is how companies like this get your phone number. Whether you are on the do not call registry or not (b/c you basically volunteered this info). These automated services call you not the actual representative so they actually do not have you phone number at all. On their end on the phone, it actually looks like you were the one that called them instead of the automated service. Option number 2 to remove your number basically does not work. You can remove your number by immediately telling the representative to remove your number from the do not call log but you will have to provide it and it will be removed in about 2-3 days. It's just like e-mail spam, if you just delete it you'll have more in your inbox the next day but if you unsubscribe from their site they stop after a few days. Take it from an insider trust me it works, hanging up does not help the automated service just calls you back at a later date. Try not to be so mean these people are just doing their jobs, which is not fun in the first place. They basically mislead us me about the content and requirements of the job and that's why I will be quitting and looking for another by the end of the week.

Posted on 5-21-07 about the call I received. Unlike all the drooling morons who don't answer the phone and then take time to post about it here, I actually did something about it.

I received a letter today from the Office of the Indiana Attorney General.

Here's a few lines from it.

"After an initial review of the information you provided, we have opened an investigation of your complaint.
While your complaint is pending, please cooperate with our attorneys and investigators if we contact you. You will be advised regarding the final resolution of your complaint".

Hopefully this goes somewhere as I received several more calls since then.

These people are deliberately sending false caller ID information. This is unfortunately very simple to do.

However, what you *can* usually do right after receiving these calls is to hit *57.

This performs a trace (your phone company may charge up to $1.00 for this). A trace will reveal the real number, and not care about forged caller ID information.

They will not give you the real number, however. The purpose of a trace is to create a record for law enforcement.

So, *first* do the *57, then call your local law enforcement. They have the power to subpoena the trace information from your local telephone carrier.

every Monday I receive a call and my caller ID shows this number. There is never a message and if I answer the phone there is never a reply? So, I just use the call to remember what day of the week it is

Got a call from this number a few days ago. Today, from the same place, but with ID blocked. Both times I talked to an agent. Both times they hung up on me when I tried to find out who they are.

Rcvd call from this number under Miami, FL heading on phone. Answered and heard a recording to reduce my interest rate through cardholder services and that my time frame was running out. I pressed one and told them to stop calling they said sure and hung up!

I was told by someone who works for a phone company (AT&T) that these are probably coming from crooks who have or gained access to a company's PBX (some companies have their own phone equipment, it's hard to explain in simple terms, but the only way to get these people caught is to contact that area's phone company- AT&T or BellSOuth etc). What it looks like is happening is someone has gained access to a legitimate company's phone equipment and is making random phone calls trying to scam people. Basically it's hard to explain but what you need to know is to report it to whatever is the local phone company that owns the phone number, for FL it's BellSouth/AT&T. Ask for their annoyance call center. As SOON as you get a call don't answer it, hit *57 (customer originated trace) then call the phone company. After you *57 a number 2 or 3 times and call the phone company they WILL inititate action. You usually need to get repeated calls from the same number and you must *57. (It's free and initiates a log in the phone company's switch software). If you don't do this, they cannot take action, if they receive enough flags for the same number it will catch them.

Damn the computer calls that wait for you long enough to connect you to some sort of scam. I hung up while listening to it click over to a live person.

Got a call from 305-253-9547 and having family in the South Florida area, I called back , the number is not in service for incoming calls. ODD! Then it bothered me so I googled it and found this site. Nothing has been done after all of these complaints?

Same crappy Florida company I ripped into before- they IGNORE the Federal No-Call list! They ask questions about how much debt you owe & IF you owe enough, they xfer you to a totally unrelated firm that does "debt negotiations" & promises to lower your existing credit card interest rates.

The calling company makes their money by pre-screening you & then handing you over to the debt negotiation company as a "live lead." These are SCUMMY ILLEGAL telemarketing tactics & a class action lawsuit might just shut them down.

Today, when I heard the pre-recorded schpiel about they're "calling from Comsumer Services" & I "may qualify for a lower interest rate on my credit card", I knew what a illegal call it was & pressed "1" for a rep- dumb girl sounded half asleep & wanted to know if I owed at least 10k in credit card debt. When I asked what company she was with, she promptly hung up on me. Florida needs to SHUT these people down!

I just got a call from 305-253-9547 and a pre-recorded message offered to "reduce my interest rates". I pressed "2" to be removed from their database, at which point the recorded message stated that I had been removed. I doubt that will keep them from calling again.

The recorded "Customer Services" message said it was about my "credit card accounts" and that there was no problem but it was "urgent" I call to see about lowering my interest rates.

I tried to call the number back as I did not know who it was and it says the number was disconnected

I don't know anyone in Florida, and if it's not important enough for these loosers to leave a message, then it IS important for me to check here. Glad I did. **Side note: contemplating cancelling my landline service, perhaps if enough of us do this, and explain WHY, Verizon, SBC, etc. will get the friggin hint!!!

Recorded message regarding lowering my credit card debt (which I don't have). Msg said press 8 to be removed but it then said it wasn't allowed. This time I talked to a woman ...I didn't let her start, I asked what company she worked for, she claimed that it was several companies. I told her I have no credit card debt and I am on the do not call list...she apologized and hung up....probably a scam...

First time I received a call from this number. Caller ID just said "Florida". I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message. Judging from all of the comments on here, I can probably expect to get more calls from these people. I filed a complaint with the Do Not Call Registry. Everybody else should do the same.

Got an automated call from this number at 1:43pm on 5/31/07. Punched 1 to speak to a person. I asked what card was being represented. Answer - We represent a lot of cards. I asked the name of the company - Card Holder Services who allegedly helps those with high interest rate credit cards. I asked to be taken off the calling list and was asked my number. I advised that they called me and should know the number. The person indicated she did not have time for a lot of idle chit chat. I asked where she was located and she hung up. I recommend pressing 1 and engaging these people as long as possible. If they really can't see your number, what's the risk?

31 May 2007 got call about car warranty. I called the number back, to be put on do-not-call list, but I got a recording that the number "is not in service for incoming calls". Is there any recourse for nuisance calls like this?

This is the 3rd call I've received in the last month from an outfit identifying themselves as "Cardholder Services". My number is on the Do Not Call List. They hung up on me when I asked for information about the company before, and now the representative hung up on me when I asked to be placed on their DNC list. I'd really like to learn who these people are so that I can sue them in small claims court.

I just got a call from this number about 20 min. ago. I didn't answer it since I didn't know who was calling. It seems they are running all kinds of scams from what I read. They are claiming to want to lower credit card interest rates, and car warranties. Then there was one who said they were coming to get their vehicles. Sounds fishy to me.

Had this number call on 5-29-07 and it wanted me to press 1 to be transfered to a car warranty sales. The message said my auto warranty is about to expire and I need to purchase additional coverage. It had an option 2 to have my home number removed from thier data base. I pressed this option. My number is on the do not call list so I don't know who they are. I called back the number, but it wont take incoming calls

I spoke to a rep who said the company is Dealer Services. They sell extended car warranties. I am on MN and Federal do-not-call lists but they say they scrub their lists daily, but it's not true. Spammers!

if you are on the DNC lists and complain. When these companies get sued it does help us all.

Your other option is to visit the web site, get their 800 number. Then go to a pay phone and call them. Stay on the phone at least 3 minutes chatting and asking questions they they will get a hefty bill for the call. Playing in the voicemail system, listing to the same messages over and over for the same amount of time also works...

They called me last week...they say they are the Cardmember Services (who you pay your credit card to) but it is a SCAM. THey want a list of all your credit card numbers - do NOT give it to them. When I questioned them on the telephone she switched me to her "supervisor" who ended up swearing at me and then hanging up. I reported them to Chase credit cards.

Noticed a call on Caller ID from this number on 5/25 4:14pm and shows Perrine, FL. When they reached Voice Mail they hung up.

Get this! I work for a Hospital in Ohio and their auto-dialer called an entire range of numbers that we own...IN OUR PATIENT ROOMS! Everytime I tried to talk with one of the reps (press 1), they hung up on me. Very frustrating. Thanks to whoever posted the Attorney General link and the scum bags' address.

The telephone number and FL address showed on my CALLER ID. I do not have voice mail and leave the ringer off in the morning. I looked up the number since I do not know anyone in that part of FL. I have had telephone calls in the past where someone left odd messages. Picking up cars and so forth. Say what?!

Re: OPT OUT mailing lists and so forth - some "insurance agents" and OTHER people get LEADS from OPT OUT/DMA mailings and DO NOT CALL LISTS to send you more JUNK mail, etc. When you complain as I did and caused a stink with some local FARMERS INS. AGENT here in Montana - the creep said that he did not call me but that he BOUGHT LISTS from OPT OUT lists. Take the lead or some odd company name like that is a SELLER of old and new information. That ODD agent who did not understand NO bought stuff from that place and continued to send me stuff down the road even after I complained to HIM, his local and national office!

These people and callers like the above are crooks and thieves of YOUR personal info even if you have an ID THEFT alert out... so where do they buy this stuff?! The DATA BASE companies and more. They will even send things to widows LONG AFTER their spouse died and NOT own up to the fact that they are using old information. CITI is one of those places! This goes for people who do not have any cards and closed up everything after a spouse DIED!

I detest them all for their invasion even AFTER you OPT OUT! NOTIFY the FTC along with those other places folks!

Received my first call from this number in Perrine, Fl. today. I keep a log of weird or irritating phone calls and after I have recorded up to three calls from the same number. I mail the list to my NC Atty Gen., Roy Cooper. The last time I mailed him, his office contacted all the companies listed and sent me a copy of the letters his office mailed out. One by one each company called me and begged me not to enforce the $500. penalty on them to be paid to me. They have never called me again. If I receive more calls from these Fl.guys I will send the info to Mr. Cooper's office and see what transpires.

Have gotten hang-ups from this number twice this week --once when I picked up and once when I let the call go to voice mail. I am on the "do not call" list and I have anonymous call blocking, the caller ID simply said "Florida", no name.

I tried to report to donotcall.gov but it says I can't because their phone number was just registered on 5/22/07 and they can call for 31 days. Have to wait until 6/22/07 to file a complaint. I don't understand why,oh well.

I received two phone calls out of Florida yesterday--this one and another, which was identified as a realtor. I have signed on the "blocked calls" list and fail to understand how these people get through. So, I think I will find out if there is a way to report "solicitors" of this nature.

It started with an automated message telling us to stay on the line to extend our car's warranty. Once we talked to a person, he did not know about us or our car. We could not get him off the phone even when we asked for materials from them or a call-back number. We eventually had to call up from this "won't take no for an answer" person.

This was on my caller ID from yesterday. No voicemessage left. Other folks commenting that it's an auto warranty scam--I received some junk mail with something similar a few weeks back but tossed it without a second thought. Don't know if it's the same scam.

I received a recorded phone call from this place that called itself "Consumer Services." The recording offered some credit rate deal. This was the second call within a month with the same message. The first time, I pressed 1 to speak to a representative. When I asked for their name, they immediately hung up on me. I tried *69, but the phone number was blocked. When I got the call today, I pressed 1 to speak with a representative (got put on hold...), and the person who answered said he was from Meridian Consulting Group. When I asked him to repeat the name and he realized I was writing it down, he hung up. This time, *69 reported the phone number: 305-253-9547. I reported it to donotcall

Some "card services" scam that violates the federal do not call list. They have called twice this week and both times have hung up when I asked for their headquarters information, or contact information so I can report them to the gov.

Called on 5-22-2007 at 2:03pm CT, heard only silence when I answered. I tried calling the number but recorded message states "the number you have reached, 253-9547, is not in service for incoming calls."

P.S. I just emailed the attorney general of Florida and told him he may want to shut this operation down before there is a rash of identity theft. It's very easy to do, and if we all send an email, they'll find out whose behind this scam.

These idiots just called me again. That's twice in 20 minutes. I was playing along with them and told them I was interested and then they hung up the phone. Chickens.

This is an obvious scam to obtain credit card numbers. I got the recorded message of "lowering the interest rate on our credit card". Obviously, these folks need to be in jail for identity theft. I blocked the call.

Got a call from this number this morning. A recording said it was John from Consumer Services and it was about lowering my credit card rates, but not to worry, my current cards were fine. Press 1 to speak to a representative, 2 to be removed. I pressed 1 and got disconnected. Reported even though the number is probably fake.

I got a call from this one today. Automated message said it's "Cardmember Services" and there's no problem with our credit cards but they want to give us a better interest rate.

I get a call like this at least once every other week but this is the first time there was a number on the Caller ID. I called it back but of course, it's disconnected.

I received a phone call from same phone #. the recording stated they were going to pick up my vehicles. they hung up on me. i called back but the recording stated they do not accept incoming calls. did a search on google found same info like everyone here.

The recorded "Customer Services" message said it was about my "credit card accounts" and that there was no problem but it was "urgent" I call to see about lowering my interest rates. I hung up.

This number is an automated message about lowering your mortgage rate. You must press 1 to talk to an operator. The option to remove your number by pressing 2 only replays the message. Illegal autocaller and no way to be removed basically. I refuse to talk to an operator. Have called at least 5 times prior to my answering.

Recording about reducing credit card interest rates, I chose '1' to speak to a representive. Her name was 'Kinesha' who wanted my name and phone number. I asked what company she worked for. She said 'Account Services' and wanted my name and number, I asked where she was calling from and she said she couldn't give me any information until I gave her my name and number. I said I wanted her information FIRST ... she hung up. Caller ID said 'Perrine, FL'. Have two weeks off and was much enjoying a very rare afternoon nap ... they woke me up! Will report to donotcall.gov!

I use call screening, automated message and something of eligibility expires, then nothing... Obviously not using the federal DO NOT CALL and should be reported.

When my Mom refused to give the number of the credit card, the man actually laughed at her and called her a B***H and hung up. Definite SCAM!

Just got a call from 305-253-9547. Got a message offering loan consolidation from a company called "Account Services." I pressed 1 to talk to a representative. When I asked for a call back number, the representative hung up.

this number keeps calling my home number, and I got the same info from Google. There is another number with the (202) area code from washington, dc that keeps calling my cell. my mom answere the (305) number and they said something would expire if you don't hit the 1 key. as my mom gets confused a lot, this is really upsetting her. does anyone know what is going on here?

This number has called 3 times this week and never leaves a message. Caller Id says Perrine, Fla and google says Yannis Pikiers. Further serching on the net finds that there is a famous ballet dancer in fla. with the name Yannis Pikieris! Very Strange indeed.

This call was an automated "lower your interest rate, press one to talk to a rep." I pressed one and told the guy we were on the do not call list and to take my name off his list. He said the do not call list has nothing to do with lowering my interest rate and hung up on me. When I tried to call back by scrolling back through Caller ID and hitting "talk," I got a recording saying the number was disconnected. Very odd.

I told him I was concerned that he was calling to extend my warranty but didn't even know what vehicle we were discussing. I tried to call them back and got a message saying that the number had been disconnected. Can't find them on reverse lookup either.

3:35 pm. Recorded message about some low interest rate scam. Press 1 to talk to rep. or 2 to be removed. I pressed 1 and some mumbling guy answered. Said I was on the national do not call list and I want to talk to his supervisor. He politely said please hold. Music has been playing for the past 15 minutes. Hopefully their hold system doesn't hang up...I'll leave the line open for days. :)

I got the same call. Its a recorded massage saying cardmember sevices etc. press 1 to speak to rep. Rep said name is john taylor and company is greetree usa. I ask who placed phone call, he didn't know I asked to speak to someone who did, He said please hold and hung up.

This recording called on 5/12 at 12:46 pm, wanted to extend the warranty on "the car I am currently driving." Never actually said what car that was. Offered me the option to speak to a representative (press 1) or to be removed from “this list” (press 9).

Got a call from this number, no message, showed from Florida. Don't have any idea who this is, probably some scum credit company that trys to collect old debts that people don't owe.

Called 5-19-07 at 11:22 am didn't answer since I didn't know who it was. I don't answer unavailable phone calls.
