Who Called Us

We've gotten this org. calling from different numbers. I guess they think if they don't get us with one number they'll get us with different ones. This makes the Diabetics Assoc. seem less creditable. Therefore no donation from us.

I suspect it is ADA. They call several times each day under different town & state names. Sometimes the actually use ADA I am a diabetic and an ADA member but their tactics are deplorable. They also use, 571-261-0106, Haymarket, VA, 434-878-9983, Brodnax, Va., 703-291-9032, Triangle, Va. & 240-218-7702. ADA.

I've been receiving at least one call a day from different numbers - all from ADA. I've also been filing complaints on the Do Not Call Registry for each number they try to contact us through. I have no idea who these people are and refuse to answer their calls. Hopefully enough people will file complaints to shut them down.

These people are calling seven days a week, at all hours and from different
phone numbers!!

They call us from FOUR DIFFERENT NUMBERS and never leave a message.

Theses douchebags call 2-3 times a day, as late as 10PM. Various numbers, all show ADA on call ID: 410-202-0108, 301-223-0109, 434-878-9983, 703-291-9032

I filed complaint at National Do Not Call Registry, Everyone, please do the same to get these people stopped. You don't have to give any personal information other than the phone number receiving the calls!

had one call day for 4 days and once was even at 8 in the morning but had it awhile back after they stop after a week and picked back up again. decide to pick it up and sound like fax machine so did no good to tell them off. try to redial back but you have to dialed a one to complete the call so didnt wont to pay for long distance call. I am on no call list as well

This IS the American Diabetes Association. It is non-stop endless calls daily on multiple numbers: 301-223-0109; 410-202-0108; 571-261-0106; 757-769-7127;434-878-9983; 703-291-9032 and 240-210-7102. They are becoming an annoying group. I have supported them in the past and have an ADA membership but no more. I'm fed up with this type of solicitating. (see comments from Fed Up below, same as mine!!).

ADA is NOT the American Diabetes Association. If you just want to put the letters to words it could be American Dental Association, Americans for Democratic Action, Alternative Distribution Alliance, Audio Design Associates, etc... It is also a town in Oklahoma.

Nobody knows who this is. I have read several message boards such as this one and nobody has positively identified the callers origin.

The call came in at 7:20pm. They did not leave a message.

This number called on a Sunday evening, almost 7 pm. Grrrrr. When the answering machine came on, they hung up. It had ADA on the caller ID.

The American Diabetes Assoc is behind this. I called them, thinking these calls were a scam, but the customer service rep told me that they use telemarketers to make these calls - looking for donations. I asked her to take me off the list and she promised she would. That was 1 month ago. I have been reporting each call to donotcall.gov and yesterday I filled out a complaint with bbb.org (The Better Business Bureau) against ADA. Hopefully, something will stop them. This is nothing but harassment.

Probably Infocision of Akron OH calling for the Am Diabetes Assn. Note that Infocision records calls w/o notice or permission, illegal in 18 states. Other callers for ADA also record w/o notice or permission.

I called it back, a recording came on stating it was the American Diabeties Association and they were attempting to reach me recently. Press 1 to be removed. You enter your number and they remove it.

KEEP GETTING THESE CALLS SEVERAL TIMES DAILY EVEN ON SUNDAY MORNINGS!!!! MACHINE PICKS UP BUT NO MESSAGE IS EVER LEFT. PAINS IN THE BUTT.

Keep getting these calls 3-4 times a day, 7 days a week! How do you stop them?

Called back, received recorded message with option to block future calls. Speaker identified caller as American Diabetes Association.

Received calls from this number several times. No message is ever left and they call all different times of the day.

Just received a call but there was no one on the line when I answered. I called the number back and it was a call from the American Diabetes Association. When you call the number you receive a recorded message and an option to have your phone number removed from their call list. If you do not want them to call you then just call the number back and have your number removed. It is that easy to stop the unwanted calls!! Hope this helps.

Have received calls from "ADA" from two numbers: 301-223-0109 and 240-210-7102. They hang up before the answering machine comes on. No message. I noticed there is an "Ads by Google" to the right of this box saying "American Diabetes Association. You can help make a difference. Please make a donation today" If ADA is the American Diabetes Association, they just lost my support (I am a diabetic). Why is that google ad coming up on this site?

Have received many calls from ADA. This number and 434-878-9983. No message is left... for obvious reasons.

I figured this was the American Diabetic Association, but anyone can say anything.
It is originating in Williamsport, Maryland.
Just tell them your sugar is too low to talk right now.

Have had a few calls (just recently?) from this number. Let it ring through to voice mail as I do not recognize the number. They/he/she/it never leave a message...

Just had a call and hang up from this number. What is this persons problem. Psychopath, no doubt.

this number is showing up on my caller id as 1-301-2230-109 ADA. the clue that it is spam is the placement of hyphens in the number id.

This number keeps calling but never leaves a message on the machine. We don't answer call we are unfamiliar with.

Left no message and no ID - probably yet ANOTHER bill collector looking for my sister. (NEVER let a family member move in or use your address - or you will suffer with these kinds of annoying calls too)
