How do I stop them from calling?
- Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
- If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the
FTC. - Block them with a call blocker:
Uniden DECT1288 blocks up to 20 numbers, plus Private and Unknown, with the reject tone, without ringing the phone.
Panasonic KX-TG106 blocks up to 30 numbers, plus all unidentified callers, with a busy tone, after the phone rings once.
JF Teck Caller ID with Ring Controller blocks up to 70 numbers, and can be set to always allow up to 100 to ring through.

Received many calls for my Dad, they won't stop calling or will they identify themselves on the phone. I used the reverse phone directory and of all things the calls are from a cell phone. As a former debt collector myself, alot of this seems real borderline. Dell is suppossed a reputable company.
They ignore cease & desist letters, too. I will be filing suit against them.
i beleve it is a collection agency and it is crap that they are bothering me 10 times a day up to 8 pm anite i have talk to someone and told them the case the thing that i got from them it is broke and in the prossess of being sent back and it has been broke for 3 months they need to stop with all the phone calls if i talked to them all ready
Called them back and got a live? person. Said they were Encore Management but wouldn't tell me what it was about. Showed up 35+ times on caller ID from July 8 to 11, 2007
This place calls constantly with a recording instead of a person. I don't know how they expect you to call back when the recording talks over our answering machine message so you don't get most of their phone number.
The other day they called every hour. Same message, starts at the same place. The call like 5 times a day on a normal day. Least I know who it is now.
ridiculous. they dont have the balls to get on the phone, they have a recording leaving messages. pathetic.

Yes this is a collections agency, Encore. They are a 3rd party collections agency for Dell Financial Services. The women at Encore r NOT helpful, I wrote a letter to the CEO & CFO regarding how I was mishandle. They cannot take any actions against its just a threat towards U to make you scared so Encore/Dell can collect monies owed. But Encore employees are NOT helpful they are very ghetto in handling business.
ERMI on behalf of Dell. Said I only had 2 hours to fix things or severe measures will be taken. Are they serious? Whatever you pay Dell is not enough!!!!!
These people were extremely RUDE to my wife and a call to the Better Business Bureau and Our Attorney will be made tomorrow
