If you go to sqmgroup.com there is a contact page to have your number removed from their calling list. We will see if they respect the request. Never have anything to do with Rogers Communications they are outright crooks impossible to deal with and are forever changing your contract to keep you on the hook for as long as they can paying their overly high fees for no service.

I cancelled my Rogers services 6 months ago and now they are calling to get my business back.......I swore I will never deal with these a-holes again....and I won't.

I've received calls from this number before and have never answered them thanks to info from this site. If I am close enough to my fax machine, I press the on-hook or answer key and let the call go through the fax machine. They usually stop calling my house after they get the fax sometimes they try a second time and if I do the same thing I do not hear from them for at least one year. Good Luck.

They just don't get it - But Washington says its OK for them to call you on behalf of someone you spoke with on the phone (maybe 10 years ago) enev if you are on the DNCR.

This is an automated customer satisfaction survey from Rogers after you have called their call centre. It took about 30 seconds before the automated program kicked in and the response times after entering numbers was very very very slow. Eventually, the automation hung up on me after I pressed a bunch of keys. Overall, a crappy system that is a waste of Rogers money and your time.

Received a call on my cell phone this morning at 9:45am. I did not answer because I did not recognize the number. They did not leave a message as is usual with telemarketers.

Have been getting calls from this number every day for the past 4 days, it does not show up on reverse look up. I never answer unsolicited calls from out of province or 1-800, 1-888 or any of those, most often it is a telemarketer wasting my minutes and time, oh wait those are the same hahaha. PAIN IN THE ***

The caller was a survey group calling me on behalf of Xplornet, my satellite internet provider, to ask questions about my degree of satisfaction with Xplornet customer service, whom I had called the day before on a technical issue. Nothing sinister here.

It is not the call centre's fault, they get hired by other companies to do a survey and they usually hire vunarable people with minimum salaries to do their dirty work. be polite to them

I got a call from 250-260-3907. I did not answer and they left a message in Chinese. It is the second time they have called me and I clearly speak English only and they keep speaking in Chinese. My answering message is in English and they leave messages in Chinese. Getting REALLY annoyed!!

This number did call me today> I called back, stayed on the phone listened to their message, and at the end of the message it does ask if you want to be removed from their call list. you can do this right on the phone, if you do not have a computer to go online to take your number off their list.

This was an unknown caller. I hung up prior to listening to anyone speak. It was a long distance call from BC. It mostly likely, due to the below comments, had to do with Fido as I subscribe to them and in the last week contacted their customer service dept 3 times.

I have one relative that lives in BC so what Im gettin calls about is crap....This I think is the 4th day in a row I have received a call now and have not answered. If this is a political phone call, first, its too late, second, Im Canadian, from Ontario....so it doesnt familly or legally have anything to do with me.....Again, this stuipid csll came from 250 260 3907.If i receive one more call I will report you.

Called 250 260-3907 then 321 753-9690 (survey crap) after talking with Rogers, lets all hook or computer to the phone line use the program termial and redial 99 times 1-800-446-2095 and bug the crap out of them, and for a follow-up do Rogers just for good measure.

Had a call today showing this number. Researched - it is a company called Service Quality Measurement based in BC. They are not telemarketers and here is how they describe themselves on their site:

You can put yourself on their Do Not Call list and they say they will remove you within 24 hours. The telemarketing legilslation in Canada has no teeth whatsoever.

Unknown number from 250-260-3907 dialed my cell, but didn't leave a message. Called the 1-800-446-2095 to get off their call list. Didn't ask how the unknown company got my "cell" number which is unlisted. Isn't the DNC list supposed to stop these unsolicited calls? Takes 24 hrs to get off of the list.

I phoned them back to see who it was -- an automated voice answered "something QM.. "We take surveys for companies that have been called your number or have been called from your number" basically that's what it said... I didn't stay on to pursue it - just added them to the dnc list.

I get a call from this number every day at around 12:20 - 12:30. I never answer, but when I tried calling back I got a busy signal.

When I answered the phone, no one on the other end responded.

This number calls me all the time without fail at 12:30 pm. I registered my number on the do not call list, we'll see if it works. Going through their website its hard to believe this company is as great as they say they are, due to all the technical problems they are having. Its like getting prank hang up calls everyday - totally annoying!!! Telemarketing for any reason should be not allowed!!!!! If a company wants to rate their service the company themselves should do it... at least then you can trust where your information is going to some extent!!!!!!

This call was another in response to the issues I have been having with Rogers/Fido -- This is a very poor way of overseeing that customer service personnel are doing their job.

these bastards are calling claiming wanting to do a survey for my recent call center customer service contacts, the only one I have called is shitty Capital One for a credit limit increase and they have not given me one in 4 years and i paid every month on time and never got a increase they still refuse to. Do not accept anything from capital one they report on your credit only what you owe not your on time payments or credits available. Capital one sold my number now it appears to these survey fucks out of vernon british columbia. I wondered who called... Well if it is Rogers/Fido they are calling because of long term customer service issues that began because I assumed or took over the service (and contract) from someone leaving the country. All I ever got was unfulfilled promises of resolution to the problems and once again they are compounding. Yesterday I terminated all of my services with Rogers and Fido. It appears that now they want an independent body to evaluate and report on their shenanigans. OK next time they call I might answer.

This is probably a number for which "I" will get charged if it was accidentally picked up. Seriously, there should be greater penalty for such companies who are soliciting unwanted "anything"! I signed up for the DNC-list so that I wouldn't be hounded by these "Animals". The calls are now 2 to 3 times more than before I signed up. Make this illegal and have a hefty fine with "Jail" time to make this a more serious offence. They must think it's funny to get away with "Harrasment".

Be aware that there are various ways out there to GET your phone number so companies in the US can all you, over which CRTC has no jurisdiction. This may be one of them. Going on to the Do Not Call List, gives your working phone number to a great number of undesirable companies who may ask for it; controls are inadequate in Canada.

This is a SURVEY company. If you've EVER bought a product from ANYWHERE and given your number to the company for any reason, incl for warranty purposes, you may get a call from this number. Many big name companies will contract out to these companies to do their surveys, evaluate the surveys and provide feedback to the company for improvement. My number is also an unlisted cell. I recently bought a washer/dryer. The company called to see how my experience was but I hung up.

Attached to BS survey that keeps coming up 000-0000, they say you will get a free cruise if you do the survey but don't tell you who they are. If this is legitimate then they should stop operating like a identity theft boiler room and the companies behind it should shut it down. I get calls every day and I am on the do not call list.

Vancouver BC, here. Nobody on the line and no message. I'm not a happy camper cause I had to climb down a ladder and spilled paint in the process, all to answer this bogus caller. I just registered at the new "Do Not Contact" service offered by the Canadian Marketing Association at the-cma.org but note that this association represents the interests of telemarketers, not poor schmucks like us - so it seems a bit like having the foxes guard the henhouse. I filled out their registration anyhow and put a check "yes" in the "Is registrant deceased?" box. Hopefully that may douse their member telemarketers enthusiasm for awhile at least.

I get 2 calls a day. says unknown from 250-260-3907. no voice message- dead sileance when i answer. Telemarketers WANT To Talk.. so I dont think it is that. I figure, either its a malfunction in some market research programmed computer... Or we are being Flagged. Marked. because we have common triats of some sort: Dont ask me.. I came on here and found this site. it is smq that is calling and everytime you call into you service provider (in my case fido) they call back to do a customer report/satisfaction survey. I just received this call. After reading here I contacted Service Quality Management Group (SQM). I utilized the number listed here to request to get off their calling List: 1-800-446-2095. Very friendly, very polite and very professional individual apologized for calling my cell phone and assured me that my number would not be called again. A side note, they were conducting a safisfaction survey for Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) and inquired if they had reached a cell phone. Upon confirming they had they promptly apologized and said they do not conduct surveys over cell phones.

We have the "do not call" thing here so once you say those lil magic words they stop calling. ;o)

Been getting alot of blocked and unknown calls lately, so we are huge fans of screening. Then this one pops up with S Q M Group, Inc and left no message. I searched it on Google.com, and apparently its some sort of customer service survey company. Other searches that came up was OfficeMax stating that they use/used this company.
When you go shopping and a retail store asks for number and/or zip code, don't give it out unless you enjoy these calls.

Yup, got called by this number on my Fido cell today. I had called Fido cust service on Friday to have some billing stuff changed, but not sure if that's related. My number is not listed and I've never entered it onto any website at all, so I'm pretty highly willing to bet Fido IS indeed getting SQM to do surveys for them, for whatever lame reason. I had this problem before with another survey # calling me, probably 6+ months ago. I just added the # to my contacts, and gave that one a silent ringtone so whenever they called I wouldn't even know. Low-budget number blocking... ;)

represent. It's a call centre.
to get off the calling list call 1-800-446-2095. Remember to ask them to remove you from their list and ALL AFFIALTED businesses they are connected with.
On their website, they have an e-mail section. You can just type in an "x" to get by boxes and then for email address give them their own, then submit.
Please also see comments at phone numbers 310-455-6048. I get calls from them too. and there's lots of posts to read.

I got calls too. We need to each report this to the CRTC. They will look into the phone records.

Have no idea who else they are currently representing but if you are an xplornet subscriber the company seems to have given them your name and telephone number, supposedly to do a "survey" the telno is run by sqmgroup.com. And if you don't answer the phone you can be expect to be called again and again until you do!

The folks making these calls are carefully trained; they 'recite from a script'; they record yer answers. They push to get you to reveal information you would never give to a stranger. Then their employer turns this information over to god-knows-who for another half-cent or two.
The folks making these calls maybe real nice folks, maybe one is your sister making a bit of spare change in her part time waiting for her Ex's alimony cheque. But ya can't tell me - in today's day and age - that anybody doing so-called 'harvest' telemarketing is not aware of what they are doing.

They deserve every abuse we throw at them.

I received two calls from this number the first one on 10/22/07 and the second on 10/23/07. The second time I was home and answered the call, their was no one on the other end. Just a short pause and then they hung up. The call came in at 6;41pm.On my caller ID.

I said they had a wrong number and they hung up, and didn't call back. After reading here, called SGM group at 1-800-446-2095. They were very polite when i asked to be placed on their conpany's "do not call" list, but asked which group I had received the call from - (SGM solicits on behalf of many companies). I said I did not know what calling group they were soliciting on behalf of, but that I wanted to be placed on the SGM do not call list, ot the list for GMAC, TELUS, FIDO, etc. They agreed.

I am in Northern Ontario, and the SGM rep wouldn't say which province she was in, but that they were indeed from Canada.

I got called by this number a total of 3 times over the past few days. The third time I was finally able to pick up the call. Turns out that it was a company doing a survey on behalf of Fido (a cell phone service provider) and wanting a rating about a recent call I made to Fido customer service.

I had recently filled out an online form from from GMC for a chance to win a vehicle, by GMC and it was a GMC promotion . I had given them my telephone number and was told I would be called back . That was about a month ago , Tonight I got 3 calls from this number and all were answered without hesitation to a silence. When I called back I was asked to enter a code . I can almost guarentee that GMAC has a defective dial out machine .

I got another call from 1-250-260-3907. Today is January, 24th 2007 and the call came in at 4:18pm Toronto time. It showed up on my home phone call display (I was out at the time so didn't answer), they did not leave a message. After dailing *67 I called back and got this recording: "Please enter your access code on touchtone key pad" Obviously I did not have an access code so it hung up on me. This leads me to believe it is indeed a telemarketer. Which is totally annoying because I pay to keep my phone numbers unlisted!!!!! Totally frustrating that this is legal, makes you wonder why Canada has a privacy act...it's not being inforced obviously!

I apologize for the inconvenience. I checked and 250-260-3907 is not a TELUS
landline. It could be a cellular but more than likely the number belongs to
another telephone company. There are a number of telephone companies in BC. If
you have received several calls it is almost certainly a telemarketer and I
appreciate your frustration as no one likes to get telemarketing calls.

You mention you do not hear anything when you answer. That is not too
surprising. Machines, not people, make the initial call and, in most cases, if
you wait long enough someone from the telemarketing firm eventually gets on the
line to give you the sales pitch. At that time you can ask them to remove your
number from their sales list. If the line goes dead the telemarketer had to
drop the call as they had no one readily available to give you the sales pitch
(they will call again!).

Since you have the telephone number it is a good idea to contact the Canadian
Marketing Association (CMA). They are an umbrella group that represent 80% of
the telemarketers in Canada. If you can get off their lists you should receive
far fewer calls in the future (include your name telephone number address).

I spoke today (10-24-2006) to both TELUS in Vancouver, British Columbia and TELUS MOBILITY in Toronto, Ontario. Both say there are no active numbers with them and suggested I call other carriers ro see which telco it's coming from.

My wife answered the call, a lady asked for me only by my first name. I was out so she asked the caller if she could take a message and they said no and that they would call back later. I called the number back when I got home and it says my call did not go through and I should the number. I suspect a telemarketer.

received call from this number..I.D. showed UNKNOWN NAME. I called the number back and got recording that this number is no longer in service, if you feel this message is an error please check the number and redial. I did and got the same recording!! GRRRRRR!
