How do I stop them from calling?
- Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
- If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the
FTC. - Block them with a call blocker:
Uniden DECT1288 blocks up to 20 numbers, plus Private and Unknown, with the reject tone, without ringing the phone.
Panasonic KX-TG106 blocks up to 30 numbers, plus all unidentified callers, with a busy tone, after the phone rings once.
JF Teck Caller ID with Ring Controller blocks up to 70 numbers, and can be set to always allow up to 100 to ring through.

They have called about 10 times a day for over a month when I pick up a computer tells me to hold then it hangs up on me. I cant figure out what they want.
They call me constantly throughout the day. Finally had to put their number on a silent ringer so I wouldn't have to listen to it.
This people call all the time, very annoying, will not stop!
They never leave a message
they only leave and number and when I call its a recording that does not make sense. Sounds like it should be a teleconference call
This company is Encore. I don't know who they are for sure, but I suspect that they are a scam operation that says your bank draft did not go through and they can do it for you if you will give them your account number. I say this because the woman who answered the phone had the same voice as a woman who called me with this scam several times the week before. They get the electronic message that the draft went through via computer or phone and try to convince you that it did not complete.
Also -- I tried calling them back, and an answering machine that sounded just like the guy who talked to me said that the area code and number weren't right or something. But I know the area code -- it's a suburb of Detroit.
They have been calling me for about two months. I picked up once, told them to never call here again, and the man said, "Okay, I'll call back later," and as I was saying, "NO, STOP CALLING HERE," he hung up. Nice guy...
They are a collection agency named encore. You have to talk to them to find out who the represent because they do not leave messages.
Called and left a message about a business oppurtunity
That still doesnt tell me who it is. They started calling me a couple weeks ago and they call at least ten times a day while im working I come back and have a dozen missed calls. Its so frustrating and i dont even know who they are.
