Who Called Us

Have called 3 or more times over the last few days. no message on machine, and when number called back, rang twice and then hang up.

File a complaint with the FCC: esupport.fcc.gov.
They have posed as 2 different charities in the last week.

They have been calling everyday. I have not been aat home & they leave no message.

Exempted from the Do Not Call list because it supposedly is calling on behalf of a variety of charities.

It is Insight Teleservices, rated F with the Michigan BBB

These guys just steal your money, they don't actually represent any charities. Beware!

They've been calling for weeks, and the calls just keep coming. Today they've called every two hours, and the last two calls were fifteen minutes apart! I answered three times and asked them to stop calling. The first two hung up on me, the last one insisted she was only calling with a "thank you."

I was expecting a call. This number called thru, asked for my wife on the answering box and hung up. I tried calling them back on the land line. On 3 occasions, it rang once, it picked up. no one there, and then the phone disconnected. I tried twice on the cell phone. same effect. So I tried here on internet with the phone number and your vast record of dissatisfaction with this number. Next time I'll try here second. Thanks for being here.

Called several times over last week...no messages left

Asked for resident by name, when I asked who was calling, she hung up.

Michigan law exempts people calling on behalf of "charities" so given the information here they obviously are using that as a ruse whenever they actually get someone on the phone. Take five minutes to file a complaint with the Michigan Attorney General's office at secure1.state.mi.us. Also, report to the feds... Federal Trade Commission at donotcall.gov, or by calling 1-888-382-1222 (TTY 1-866-290-4236).

Insight Technology, Inc. is an optical device manufacturer based in Londonderry, New Hampshire.

Insight Technology builds firearm accessories such as tactical flashlights and laser aiming modules, for military and civilian markets. The company is best known for making the AN/PEQ-2 and AN/PEQ-6 laser sights used by some branches of the United States armed forces.

This is the only thing I can find on the internet for Insight Tech.

They have called several times. When I say hello several times they still don't say anything. So I hang up.

02/16/10: Received a call from this number eleven times in a day and a half. Called I.D. says "Insight Tech." Caller often hangs up before the answering machine answers.

want to get back at 248-228-8850? Insight Technoloy Solutions? Call them at 248-552-8866! This is their phone number.....you can request to have your number removed from their list. And, if you feel like it....call them three times a day like they do to us. I looked at caller id.....they have called me 12 times in the past week. The law needs to be changed....if a non-profit is calling I have no problem. But if a company is getting paid to call for a non-profit, all bets are off and it should now be illegal.

they called me over and over at all times of the day. I got to the phone and a rep for this company was trying to get people for the "disabled veterans", they wouldn't give the real name of the org. they were calling for. Thy asked me to collect money from my neighbors....I sadi no....and the guy called me an idiot.....was funny. If the org. they are getting paid to call for new how they acked I would hope they would cancel their agreement.

I've never answered when this number calls nor do they leave a message. However, a strange thing happens if you call it back: Nothing! The phone just goes dead silent; doesn't ring or anything.

The african american woman thanked me for my past support of the Paralyzed Vets and asked if they could again "count on me" for a donation and could they send out a Pledge Card. I said sure, for 10.00. She told me the minumum on the Pre Printed Tax Reciept was 15.00. I said I'd donate 10.00 and she HUNG UP ON ME!!!

I've been getting at least 4 calls per day from this number for the past 2 weeks. They never leave a message, and if I do pick it up, they don't say anything - there's just dead air when I keep saying "hello". I can only assume that this is somebody trying to track what times I'm not at home -- presumably a prospective burglar.

Keep getting hang up calls from this number. 2 nights in a row

I said hello twice he said Janet I said no and asked who was calling he said this was a bad time and hung up

Just got a call from this number. Asked to speak with Diane after I said hello twice. I told the caller it's a wrong number. As another person mentioned above, I also beleive that they call to see what time you pick up the phone and then sell that info to other telemarketers.

They call me almost every day, twice a day. They never answer when I say 'hello' and when I tried to call them back, the phone rings a few times and then nothing.

I think this a computer generated calling program at work. It reports times when you are home and notes best time to try and get you to donate money to a bogus organization. No facts just my opinion.

Why are "organizations" like this still in operation when there is documented evidence that these people are breaking the law, and rather lazily at that? Good lord, get on it "Do Not Call List". Glad our ridiculous tax dollars are hard at work.

Rang twice before I answered. Hung up on me when I said Hello. On Do Not Call List.

Get lots of calls from this number, comes up Insight Tech, when I answered the call first time, no one on the line. Let the machine pick it up from now on, never leave a message. A nusance call for sure.

Just called. Didn't know the number or anyone in Michigan so I didn't answer. They didn't leave a message. I'm on the do not call list.

Caller said they were cancer charity.

answered the phone and they asked me to contribute.. I said I can't right now... I am not working .... they kept asking and asking... I just hung up!!!

Repeated calls from this number that I haven't been answering. I answered the last one intending to tell them to stop calling. The man asked for Joyce, I said this is Joyce and he hung up. Tried many times to call back, it rang once then seemed to transfer rang twice then silence.

This number calls me every day around 5 pm and hangs up on my answering machine. I called back and was disconnected immediately! Obviously bogus.

Person asked to speak to someone. When I asked the caller to repeat themselves,they hung up the phone.

Keep getting calls from this number. They wont talk to my wife. Caller claimed to be Mike Rose when asked, then he hung up.

Answered call from this number. Could hear voices in the background. I said hello two to three times, then they hung up on me. Googled this number and it appears they are a nuisance.

same old story - multiple calls any time of the day, hang ups. however yesterday the woman who called was very rude, she would not identify who she was or why she was calling. she kept asking to speak to my husband. when asked if she was a headhunter (recruiter) she said she didn't know what that was but it sounded morbid. hung up on her.

They listened to entire outgoing message on machine and then hung up. 12/30/09. we are also on Do Not Call list.

Called me 3 times today. I called back because they kept hanging when I answered. Nobody answered when I called them.

Claimed to be calling on behalf of a "children's wish...... " something. Began to ramble, and I had to yell at him to stop to say I wanted my name off the list and reminded him (Brian) that we are on the no-call list!! Said he was a non-profit and therefore exempt, but said he would take our name off the list. Skeptical.

Called back and hung up -- three calls in last three days

The first time they called you could hear call center type noise in the background when the answering machine picked up. The second time, they hung up more quickly. Very annoying.
