I got this call and pressed option one. I asked them what company they are with and they said Card Services. i said no thats not the name of your company. they said this is card services so pull your D*ck out of your ear and listen and then hung up on me. either way not a great company to work with I think.

Got two calls from these people today. Both times, it was
a recorded message... though the name varied:

"Hello! This is Amber/Sarah with Card-holder Services..."

Really? "Card-holder Services"? With what bank?
Bear in mind that this greeting is designed to make you
assume they're actually associated with your bank.
But, in reality, they don't even know who you are.

They tell you that you're eligible to have your interest
rates significantly lowered. Sounds good to me except that
they don't even know who I am.

The recording then directs you to press 1 to speak to
a representative. Or press 3 to have them discontinue calling.

How do I stop them from calling?

  1. Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
  2. If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the FTC.
  3. Block them with a call blocker:
