I have a SAMSUNG cell phone in which I can block numbers. I don't have a land line home phone.

Hung up on them twice and they called back again. STOP CALLING ME!

Calls my business several times a day, my phone count 9 calls repeated today, when I tried to answer, it just hang up.

They have been calling me over a Mervin"s bill I paid off in 2006. My final payment was like 60.00? This guy screams at me. He asked what I was doing because I told him I was not in the position to talk to him, I was at work. He said it sounded like I was washing dishes. I told him I don't have time to talk, he yelled again, I hung up, but he calls daily.

I've been keeping a tracking log as they are calling sometimes up to 4 times a day. Funny though, prior to this last call this morning where caller ID showed them as APATON Services, they were showing as Receivables Performance Mgmnt. What's with the name change? I spoke to someone last week and asked them to stop calling, he stated they will continue to call. So, hung up and not answering any more calls.

You have to send them a cease and desist letter in the mail and it must be certified it you want the calls to stop.

Called and spoke to my 13 yr old daughter insisting that someone by the name of "Kristen" could be contacted at this number and became agitated when my daughter told him no one by that name lived here and that we don't even know a Kristen.

Calls 4-6 times a day. Day, night and weekends. No message. No caller ID. Comes up unknown. I am going to contact Ohio Attorney General and see if I can put some fear into them. Wish me luck. I want to fry some butt!

This is a collection agency. After several calls that lasted over two weeks I finally picked up. The person on the phone said he was looking for his freind James. When I told him that I did not know a James but I wanted to know why he called me several times a day for over two weeks he repied "I have not personally called you before today". When I asked who he was he said "don't worry about it, I'm looking for James". Shortly after that he said he worked for RPM and then began going down the road of being somewhat of a smartass. I asked for his boss and he said that he did not put his Boss on the phone for things like this.
This company has some bad practices and even worse people. Their calls are automated so their system will call you relentlessly even if they have a wrong number.
Fright Back! Report them to the BBB and the FCC!!

Answered call to hear automated message with female voice say "please hold, I have a call for you". Then man came on the line and said "hello?", I responded "hello". He then said something gibberish that sounded like "abu dabu" and hung up.

The company is called Receivables Performance Management. They are a collection agency. They kept calling, so I googled "receivablesperf" which what was listed on my caller id. I called their 800 number and asked why they were calling my number. Turns out they were calling for someone that does not live in my house and that they would take my number off their listing.

said that I was going to contact the attorney general of our state if he continued. He asked if I was threatening him - told him no but that I'd heard they don't have a very good reputation and he was proving everything I'd read and heard was right. He said " well there are just a lot of people who get overly upset LIKE YOU ARE " After telling him again to remove our phone number - he told me " I'll tell you how this is going to work!!!" He was running his mouth trying to intimidate me, but I know my son's credit report is clean because he just applied for a loan and there was nothing outstanding. I repeated that I want my phone number removed from their calling list and then hung up.

RPM, ReceivablePerf, Receivable Performance Management. Debt collectors which are bottom feeders as they try to collect past due debts that are well past the statute of limitations.

Their website lists area codes 425 and 503 and they have both 866 and 888 numbers. I have no idea who they are paying for the 240 area code MD phone number. No doubt another scum sucker like themselves.
If you are having trouble with them, keep track of the number of times a day they call as only 1 call is allowed whether or not they actually reach you. Then report them to the WA attorney general's office consumer affairs division.

I have been receiving a call from this number every day for at least a week now. Never leaves a message. I finally picked up the phone today while it was ringing from this number and the person disconnected the phone!

Bottom feeder debt collectors that probably have hundreds of thousands of calls on computerized auto dial. Just put them on call block.

I finally bought phones that allow you to set different rings for different numbers.. I just programed there's in as silent!! I don't owe them anything.. I have talked to this company. I sent them a copy of a cancelled check that paid the original debtor.. they still call... and call.. and call...and call.. they are calling about a bill of 34.88....save your long distance.. ughhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!! I truly believe they think it is such a low amount that I will pay them just to shut them up.. sorry.. I work for my money. I do not throw it away.. PLEASE PEOPLE KEEP YOUR BANK RECORDS. THIS WAS A BOGUS CALL TO BEGIN WITH AND IF I HADN'T KEPT MY BANK RECORDS I WOULD HAVE HAD NO PROOF!! I also ran my credit record.. nothing about this company or the original debitor..

If these douchebags call again, its off to the Washington state Attorney general's office, one harassment lawsuit and lots of Seattle area negative media coverage later, that will be the end of these suckholes. People, use the law to your advantage, and force these crapholes out of business!!

Don't this beat all? They called about five times not leaving a message, but this morning they finally left one. In SPANISH! I don't speak Spanish. They assume that just because my last name 'sounds' spanish that I would understand them. That just pisses me off even more then anything. Even if I spoke Spanish I would refuse to talk to them. I'm not in Spain.

i know first hand about what you all are talking about, the reason they keep calling is because you never give them a chance to verify the number was dialed. these people are in automatic dialers so never know what number was called. but if all you say is wrong number and hang up they are forced to call back. if anyone else is reading this and hate the calls, STAY ON THE PHONE AND TALK ABOUT IT DONT HANG UP BECAUSE UNLESS CONFLICT IS RESOLVED THEY ARE FORCED TO CALL!!!!

They called my cell today, left no message. I'm always curious when a strange # calls and doesn't leave a message. I look here first! Beca left a comment asking: Is it a coincidence that I just paid off one if my debts and now this collection agency calls?" (paraphrased) The answer is NO... it is NOT a coincidence. I JUST finished cleaning up every last thing on my credit report. I owe no one! But thanks to my clean-up and updated info being in the credit bureau's data base, these bottom feeders know how to reach me! I got a call from another bottom feeding agency for a debt incurred over 20 years ago! That debt was my first credit card as a youngster and I didn't realize that before I had even spent a dime on the card that Capitol One had already spent $190 of my $200 limit in fees and charges! I made ONE purchase for $21, thinking I would pay it off right away and build up my credit. I got my first bill... for $360!!! I paid the $21 + interest and never paid the rest- on purpose. I find that the most predatory lenders use the most scumbag bottom-feeding collection agencies- like this one. If I felt guilty (which I don't) and paid jerks like these for a 20 year old debt, it would become ACTIVE on my credit report and ruin my now good score! I feel no obligation to these jerks- they're barely ligit.. if at all. I will continue to not answer this # and all unknown numbers and suggest you do the same. Too bad... I used to live right near their Lynnwood, WA office, but live in another state now. I would LOVE to make a visit in person!

Does anyone know address were calls at this # are coming from??

Received calls from this number sometimes multiple times per day over SEVERAL weeks. I usually didn't answer. When I finally answered there was no one there and I hung up after saying "hello" twice. They JUST called again and I answered. After saying hello twice, someone responded and asked for someone that doesn't even live here! I responded with "There is no one by that name here. PLEASE stop calling." The guy kept interrupting me and saying there was nothing to be upset about. Finally, since I couldn't get a word in at all I hung up. Wish I could punch that guy or get his phone number and keep calling him and asking for someone else - I'm sure he'd still think "there is nothing to get upset about"! Think if they call again I'll just start in screaming. I am SO angry!

This is the 2nd call from them...1st was another number...I got call blocking on my phone and just enter the phone number and it's done....Try it...it works....

These people have called on 5 different occasions asking for the wrong person, then asking ridiculous questios. Tha\ey have been told each time to remove our number from their list. But they keep calling.

Keep calling me on my cell. There using up my minutes. I pick up about 5 min. ago and they wanted some1 named Darline and I told them i didn't no a Darline and then they hung up. The worst thing about it they called me not 5 min. before that. It is very ANNOYYING.

Being that we constantly get calls from other collection agencies for someone using our unlisted phone number- usually for the ones who had this number before us (over 6 1/2 years ago)- this is probably who the call is for. My husband and I live on his disability and pay our bills as they should be, so we would have no reason to being hearing from a place like this. If not for the ones who had our number previously, then it's someone who's stolen possibly my husband's identity in the past (a few times).

I have been receiving calls from this number, and when they ask to speak to an indiviodual who is deceased, they are informed of such conditions. If they could make my son speak again I would apprericate it, but all they are, are degenrate bill collectors. They tripped themselves up, and exposed who they really are by the 20 telephone numbers. In checking 240-210- 7113, it was found that the main number is 866-212-7408, and when checked belongs to Receivables Performance Management LLC, 20816 44th Ave W. Lynnwood WA. 98036. A company that has over 400 complaints file to the BBB, against them, who also has a rating of " F ". You now have the name and address of this phony company, just look them up, and you will see what garbage they really are. They should have their breathing terminated, for the harassment they cause to innocent people. One can only hope that will occur, for the well being of many.

I recommend looking at their website. What I find truly fascinating is that you really have to look around on there to find out what it is they do. It's like they are ashamed of themselves-- as well they should be. They make a living taking peoples' hard earned money away. People pay because they can't take the calls, and want them to stop. If you do that, remember: you'll feel like dirt for the rest of your life.
They collect zombie debt-- debt that has long ago expired, and in some cases isn't even on your credit report. Call them what they are: leeches.
Don't bother answering the phone. They will eventually give up and sell your debt to an even lower form of pond scum.

I have received dozens of calls from this company, mostly with no answer or with a recorded message. Frequently, they call and no one answers on the other end when they say hello. Thanks to whomever posted the name of these lowlifes. I just sent them a letter telling them to cease and desist and will send them one with a registered letter next week. I am on disability and can not work and have been very sick for 20 months and am awaiting surgery. They won't stop calling when you tell them on the phone. I did this with another company which kept calling me day and night and once I sent them a registered letter and also told them I am disabled, the calls stopped and I never heard another word from them. They have called me from 8 am to 10 pm, seven days a week, sometimes as many as 5-7 calls a day.

They call at least three times a day. Never leave a message and when I once answered it they hang up. Anyone have any ideas how to get these people off my phone? I checked my credit report and I don't anyone anything.

Desperate bottom-feeding losers, unemployable in any other field, who buy up old debt (often past the statute of limitations) and break consumer laws trying to coerce people into paying.

The best thing is to ignore them, or if you are determined to answer when they call (advice: don't) make sure that you tell them at the start that you are recording the call. They'll go nuts and hang up on you.

It is a coincidence a paid for one of my bill off and then all of the sudden I am getting all kinds of calls from other company that owe payments for! What is this? Do they all share my informations? I only can pay what I can afford for each bills. Come on now..do I allow to eat? Who is RPM?

RPM called once a few weeks ago and asked for someone. I said they didn't live here and they said they would take my number out of the system. Now they call at least twice a day never leaving a message and hang up if I answer. After they called today I kept calling the number (1-240-210-7113) back until I got someone to answer. Again they said my number would be taken out of the system. I won't hold my breath.

Left no message, who are these clowns?

Numerous daily calls. Never leave messages. I don't answer/return such calls.

This nnumber calls me 2 to 4 times a day. I don't answer but did get a person on the other end once and they said I owed money on a Student Loan. I am 68 and told them to send me information on it and they never did.

Some jackass at a collection agency! He was pretending he knew my husband and I had to keep asking who he was and what company he was with. I believe he said something like "JBT" or something. Nothing more than a bottom feeder.
