Didn't answer. As I've an iPhone I thought they may be able to somehow access my details. Pure dodgy fuckin curry munchers. Obviously don't know they're dealing with a scotsman. We're so tight if we were ghosts we wouldn't give you a fright.

They keep calling my phone. When i answered it was an indian guy with loud noise in the back ground. Scam 100%

they call me from differeent numbers 1234567890 and 1-000-00 and oooooooooo they are giving different names got 5 minutes ago , and it soulded like he said his name was bruce lee,once it was david nelson,and bill smith with an accent like his i dont think any of these was his name.

i get messages from these numbers 3 to 4 times aday the give me a different name each time , he does not speak good english at all he says i owe a bill that has not been paid, and for me to fax him my credit card info, to get this matter solved,i will not send him that info!!!!

I also got a call today from this number saying they were the government giving me $7,000 for recently filing my taxes online ... obviously I didn't believe it. super shady.

I got a call from this number and it was a lady telling me that my name and number had been chosen to recueve $7000 from the government thats i didnt have to pay back. hahaha the government doesnt just GIVE away money like.

I keep getting these weired numbers: 234-567-898, 111-111-1111, 999-999-9999 on my cell phone and when I call them back they don't answer. I checked my phone records on verizon and they're not registered on the bill, how can this possibly be if there as a call made?

Some type of computer calling service. The call I received was a pre-recorded message about a local school district bond issue.

Got a call and let it go to voicemail. Turned out to be an automated pitch for an issue in our local election.

I've seen this number on our call display before but decided to answer it this time. There were no words spoken by the caller and no normal telephone sounds. I can block this number using our carrier's call blocking system but why? The calls are infrequent and there are others that are more frequent so I choose to block them since I can only block ten in total.

In fact, Mutual Consolidated Savings (MCS), recently sent a Cease & Desist on behalf of citizens as well as themselves, against JPM Accelerated Services. JPM has been utilizing other companies names and completely disregards FCC and CRTC regulations. this is a telephone collection scam..used by a compamy in canada called Canadian Bonded Credits (Burnaby, BC) Ths company sells off old/disputed info on people from old/disputed accounts (which is why you get calls from all over the us and canada. These old/disputed debts cannot be collected through legal channels as they are disputed and would not stand up to challenge in court.....so.....the only way they can collect is by repeated harassment via phone calls from untraceable numbers...they engage you in conversation in an attempt to get more info to further harrass...

Ok, once AGAIN I get a call from this stupid company. Most of the time I just hang up but due to the incredible amounts of calls from this, the previous time I asked to be removed. They OBVIOUSLY did not do it. I had put my name on the National Do Not Call List in Canada. Something is not working out because It has been like 3 months and effective for 3 years.

Be careful about DNC lists. Many report that they are ineffective. Canadian DNC list info has been reported in the paper recently as legally being offered for sale in Canada. This has understandably stirred up controversy relative to prevailing privacy laws.

Call Center located in Brampton Ontario...that's why you find a number of "agent" had indian accent....They usually hire new immigrants, they never complaint and always keep their mouth shout about this company to keep getting payroll.
It's very complicated.....They are using internet phone service....Anyone who subscribed to an internet phone know....you can get an oversea phone number and any of your call will be consider as a local call in that area....they use it to dial long distance...it's still cheaper than using Bell or any phone carriers to make this kind of long distance call....and can get away from the Canadian Law....So where do they get the number and info. on you....The "DNCL" is only part of it....."Equifax" employee....they can check every single person file within Canada.... and sell/provide to this company......that's why they know your name, work number or sometime your cell phone number....it's all listed in your credit file....

Well these people claim they can help you reduce your credit card rate.
The problem I had with this is I've never had a credit card in my life.
I learnt there are a number of other toll free numbers you can call to have this stoped. Mutual Consolidated Services is a scam probably working for
Collection Agencies and Telemarketers. The numbers to have them stop calling you are as follows: 1-877-891-1348, 1-800-943-3250, 1-888-878-1014.
But be very careful if you call one of these numbers.
I DIALED *67 (TO HIDE MY #) BUT THAT DID NOT WORK.
I FOUND OUT THEY HAVE THE EQUIPMENT TO "OVERRIDE" THIS.
AFTER I USED *67 THEN DIALED THERE #, THE WOMAN (IN A RUDE MANNER)
TOLD ME THE NUMBER I WAS CALLING FROM (MY #).
THEY AND MANY OTHER CO's CAN OVERRIDE *67, SO BE CAREFUL NOW!!!

PEOPLE - Look at the sequence of the numbers 1-234-567-89(00) 1 to 9 in sequence followed by 00 this is NOT a real phone number and this is obviously a scam. That is what comments regarding phone number spoofing mean - they are not showing the real number they're calling from. Dont answer, dont give them any information and dont answer to try to get off any list. If you give them any info you will end up on other scam calling lists

I have received two calls from this number in the last two days. At least the mystery person did NOT leave a message to clutter up my answering machine. Besides the number itself, call display just shows "unknown name" and "long distance."

If this is my last chance to lower my c.card interest rate, then why won't they stop calling... VERY ANNOYING!!!

I have had several calls from this number and when I tryed to call it back, Verizon said it was not a valid number. The number called
again and I answered it and was someone that was running for office, they talked so fast could not get a name...

Message was left on my answering machine, asked me to either press 1, 2 or 3 depending on who I want to vote for for this upcoming presidential election.

I've pressed the number 3 to stop the calls but they continue. This time I actually pressed 1 and asked the guy to stop the calls. When I informed him that I had already pressed the number to stop the calls, he hung up on me. This guys make it hard on the legitimate calls that do come through. I rarely even pick up my phone anymore because despite the blocks they are coming through.

From the intelligence I've gathered, this is a potential scam group posing as debt consolidators, and sometimes the Veteran's Administration. Apparently, calling them back and requesting to be removed from the call list does not work, although I haven't tried it myself. (I'm a bit apprehensive about even calling the number after reading comments on other sites.)

If it wasn't a scam, they wouldn't be faking their callerID. It is hard to filter out these scumbags when they change their number every time they call.

I am on the "no call" list so it shouldn't be a telemarketer. I don't answer call from people I don't know... but if you answered it, please enlighten me. Who was it?

Also, has anyone else noticed that the bill collectors and telemarketers have invaded this site? They leave comments posing as "civilians" and encourage people to pick up these calls and talk to these idiots and give out there personal info etc... I am so glad I am not a telemarketer or bill collector. What a loser job.
