Call came through on my cell phone - caller id number is 1 digit short - but caller said they were from Adams County Human Services and were returning a call from (name was mumbled so I couldn't understand it) and I just said you have the wrong number and hung up.
I got a call from this number and it was a guy with a heavy a indian accent. He told me that he was a detective and I was going to jail for not paying back a loan that I had never gotten. He also said he would take my name off of the data base if I pay him $50. Only accepts credit/debit card payments.
scam, said they were calling from a bank and my card had been used fraudulently. Wanted my credit card # to reactivate! Not in this life time!! I like tracfone, but I get a lot of bogus calls.

Received a call from 234567890 at 7:15 PM on 7/25/09. I knew the number was not a valid phone number, so I hit "Answer" and then immediately hit "End Call".
This number has called my work atleast 3 times today (6/22/09). At first it was a woman with a heavy indian accent trying to update our business information for the yellow pages (which is pretty common for us) except this time they wanted information about me (my name, and birthday) I couldn't understand what she was saying so I hung up - she called back and continued to yell at me and transfer me to a man with a heavy indian accent and he wanted me to listen to a recording and say "yes" after every question they asked me, so I hung up again. Then they called back and I had someone else answer the phone and she put them on hold for me and they stopped calling. Weird.

These people call me once a day. They never answer when I pick up, and never leave a message.
This number is used as a block to prevent you from knowing the actual number that is calling you. It like an opt out line. I don't know who they are because they call and do not leave messages. They continually call using a different number. I looked online and figured that is an opt out line. This number was also interlinked to sites with identity theft and credit burenos.
