They call me EVERY day and when I hang up, the line is not released for at least 5 minutes, so they are tying up my ONLY business line which prevents customer calls as well as credit card processing. I called today and asked AGAIN to be removed, they said "it takes 30 days, disregard any calls til then", click!

Call today at home from Cathy (recording) to "owner" of a small business (not identified) - have recording from answer machine - offering credit card up to $250,000. The number called (mine) is on both the federal and state "do not call" list. I am going to report them as violators of the "do not call" list. Thanks for this "whocalledus" site. This seems like a scam because it is always a pre-recorded phone message from "Betty at the Small Business Network" saying that th eowener is pre aprroved for a line of credit. It is fully automted and never a real person. Based on the other reports they call people who have nothing to do with a business, in other words they call people at home all the time. Now do a search for "CCR INC" on this site and you will find "Corporate Collection Services, Inc." that are also in the "216" area code.

Repeated recorded calls from "Cathy" from the Small Business Network offering a credit card. The return phone number is 866-310-9662. I called and asked to be removed from their database. The operator said it would take 30 days and I would definitely receive more calls from them in the meantime.

The autodialer does not disconnect when you hang up on it, and I complained about this. The operator was rude and constantly interrupted me so I could never finish a sentence. I asked to speak to a supervisor. She put me on hold and then told me the supervisor was on break and would I like to continue holding. Yeah right.

I got one of these today, but from a local Worcester, MA, SBN caller: 508-438-2672. I could not hang up successfully for a couple of minutes. I couple of weeks ago I got an SBN call from another number and did report it to the govt's no call list. Obviously, this company is practicing area code creep. Creeps everywhere.

Here we go again. They called me again Jan 2, 2008 1:08PM PST. This is 3rd or 4th call since July 2007. I have a residential line (SBN claims it is a business line - but I have had it for 11 years and it's always ONLY been residential). I asked AGAIN to be placed on their "DNC" list and I filed ANOTHER complaint with the FCC. I then called the business back several times. Empoyees lied to me as to where they are. I think their outbound calls come from Ohio (some boiler room) and their 800-817-1726 and 866-310-9662 numbers go in to Coronado, Calif.

What a scam. Looks like I'm going to have to set up my auto-dialer again and call them a few hundred times.

I'm in California - I may just see about visitng them in person. I bet I could convince them to quit calling me then.

I read all the messages about this operator and went to Zillow.com and found that the Small Business Network address listed below: 1502 Glorietta Blvd, Coronado, CA 92118 is a single family resident currently listed for sale (MLS: 070096398) for $3.75 Million. It's obvious to me the Small Business Network is a scam, based on all the calls they've made to me to my home, cell phone, and business - and all of you. If this guy worked out of this house, or simply scammed someone else's identity by using a fraudulent address, he should be busted by the FTC and fined big-time. I filed a complaint with the FTC. It was easy to do on-line.

Hey Everybody, it's the Small Business Network!!! Wow!!! And "Catherine" called to let me know that with my paid membership I could qualify for an SBN MasterCard with a credit line up to $250,000!!! Neato!!!

What "Catherine" and her scumbag friends forgot about was that I'm on the Do Not Call list, and they don't have some sort of business relationship with me, and they're not a political party or taking a survey. And since I didn't "press 1 now" as instructed, they were kind enough to leave a callback number that I can report to donotcall.gov as well; 1-866-310-9662.

I guess they called because I'm self-employed....

Multiple DO NOT CALL list violations received from this bastard autodialer.
Probably only way to stop them is to sue, not only them, but (under conspiracy theory) those who advertise discounts on their SBNI website -- which offers $75 referral bonus to those who recruit new members for them.

Today I emailed MasterCard at customer_support@mastercard.com, asking them to contact the financial institution issuing cards by Small Business Network in the hopes that such institution would sever ties with these annoying people who flout the Do Not Call law. Gave MasterCard the URL to this page so they can see all the information provided by everyone. Perhaps MasterCard can do something.

The person in charge of making these calls is SCOTT who can be reached at 1-800-817-1726. Try pressing 3 for customer service. The hours are 8am to 4pm PST, but you can leave a message for Scott, the supervisor, at anytime. The company who sells your phone number to these ,marketing companies is MANTA (manta.com) who is owned by ECNext (ECNext.com) which is a marketing company that gathers phone numbers and just sells them, with nbo regard fro anyone's privacy or whether the number is even a cell phone.

There is no escape from these haunting continual calls. It doesn't matter, according to Scott, what list you are on, even the DoNotCall.gov list --- he specifically states "There is just nothing you can do, because it is legal to keep calling you". He is probably right, which is why no matter how many times this number gets reported, no one can stop these calls from Cathy at the Small Business Network.

This is a hard nose annoying company. I have contacted the FCC, etc. Apparently nothing is being done so suggest people call Master Card next. The company says it removes names but it does not. Their personnel are polite for short calls; after that, entirely rude.

Calls an average of once a week - I've had seven calls between 10/25 and 12/10. Appears to be using a blind dialer, as I automatically play the disconnected tones when I get this caller ID, and they're still calling after more than a year! Very worthy of prosecution under DNC law.

Same recorded call from these losers. The message repeats at least 3 times, and will not disconnect afterwards, tied up my phone lines for 10 minutes. I've filed FCC complaints, but nothing seems to be done about it. I think I'm going to start faxing them and reading Bible verses. They waste my time, lets all waste their time and money by calling them on their toll free number since they have to pay for those calls. I hope these people all rot for what they are doing.

this is somehow tied to 216-839-2146 - and CCR, Inc. - if you google that number - you'll see another whole HOST of posts of annoyed people. All I can tell is that when I owned a business - over 5 years ago - in another state!!! I got put on a business list and they relentlessly call me now - to constantly 'make me offers' - ugh - it's SO annoying.

These idiots used to call me once EVERY DAY. I called them back, and asked to be removed from their list, and the guy said he\'d do so. I just got another call today, and called them back again. This time, they said I wasn\'t removed from the list. I\'ve probably received 30 or 40 calls from them over the past couple weeks, and would love to start litigation against them. I received several calls from this company to my home phone. I have told them it is a residentail number and asked them to remove my number as I am on the DNC list. They give me the "it can take up to 30 days" speech - then call again 2 weeks later. This has occurred for several months. Their toll-free number is 866-310-9662. It is answered after hours but only has a message.

I am not going to ask them to remove me from their list any more. I am going to program an auto-dialer for my computer to call them about 5000 - 7000 times a week (I can call 960 times every 8 hours). Even if they pay only .05 per connect it will cost them 250.00 per week + in phone bills, plus it will tie up their line. I do like the fax idea another person posted. I'll probably do that too.

I have had over 50 calls from these people! They say the are part of a small business network and want to offer me credit. I have insisted that they not call me anymore and that my number has been on the do not call list since it started. They always say that they will not call anymore, but usually call back the same day. They are even calling me on my cell phone! These people need to be stopped! I even asked one of them if I could call them back on their cell phone. They had the nerve to tell me no! WOW! They are located in Beachwood, Ohio. It is part of the Columbus Metro Area. The zip code is 39035 (Cuyahoga County). I do not have an address yet, but I'm working on that as I type this. I'll let everyone know as soon as I find it!

Telemarketer leaves message on voicemail. Try to get an 800 fax number from them. THEN cut a strip of newspaper 8 inches wide and start faxing them. Tape the ends together to form a loop. Let the fax run until they run out of paper. Works like a champ!

AGAIN... automated message from cathy @ small buiness network stating we are eligible for a sbn business mastercard & to press 1 to activate the process because we are pre-approved to APPLY for a credit line for up to $250,000 or to call 866-310-9662, then it disconnects...these people are relentless. just reported them to the DNC registry. I have gotten a half dozen or so of these automated messages over the past couple months...

Small Business Network calling my cell phone to offer me a credit card, same as everyone else. Promptly reported to the DNC registry. People, if you want this to stop, you need to report the violation if you're on the Do Not Call registry.

I got a call from these guys and figured out you can tie up their phone lines with an audio program playing a DTMF tone every 10 seconds. I automated this and walked away to do some work out side. When i came back it was still going but eventually hung up. Check out the video youtube.com

We've gotten calls from these people too. Since our phone number is on the national do-not-call list (donnotcall.gov), we'll just report it. they are risking a pretty hefty fine from the feds.

I got the same solicitation. I made a couple of calls to various numbers that I picked up from them, and did a little sleuthing on my own. I think I know who the company is, and I passed this information on to the FCC. Let's hope.

This company has called me three times in the past 2 months, despite repeated requests to be removed from their call lists. The number they are calling is a cell phone. Federal laws restrict the use of automated dialers and pre-recorded messages to cell phones.

Left a robot mesg yesterday. Same info as others have written. Called them back at 866-310-9662. Tracy answered. Took my name & phone #. When I asked how they got my #, she said I was listed as a business in a business directory (not true!), and that they were a business-to-business company. I pointed out that I was listed on the DNC list specifically to prevent calls from companies like hers. She said she just added my number to their list, it would take 30 days for it to become effective, and hung up before I could make any response.

I have asked to be taken off of their calling list several times over the past 6 months, usually when I get as far as talking to a real person, as soon as I start to say "can you please take us off your calling list..." they hang up on me.

I am tired of you spiel Kathy, I don't want your stupid credit card - leave me the heck alone.

They called me on 16OCT2007 at 9:08 AM hawking some sort of information package for small business grants from the government. I called back, asked them to remove my name from their database. I also asked why they called my number, as it is on the do-not-call registry. I was told by "Tracy" that it was a business to business call.... I promptly filed a complaint with the national Do Not Call registry.

My number should not be allowed for them - they still repeatedly call. Today I talked to a representative asking to remove the number, I'd like to report them to the BBB or FTC but I don't know how. The usual $250,000 offer for small business membership. Not curteous or attentive at all.

Caller started pitch. I asked if I was a former customer, and did she know I was on do not call list. She said she was a nonprofit, and shouted over me and hung up.

I've had repeated calls from these dumb monkeys over the last month. I'm using the Do Not Call List violation form on the FTC website.

they're liars: said I have a business line and I do not. Said maybe the previous owner of my number was a business but my number uses one of the new area codes so didn't exist before me. Both the caller and the manager ignored my questions about the federal and state (MA) do not call lists.

A recording from Cathy for the Small Business Network or SBN tring to sell a line of credit. Has been calling for three days now. I have caller ID so I never answer unless I know the name. CID reads CCR INC.

They were on caller ID this morning then called again this afternoon. I picked it up and it was a robot selling membership in the Small Business Network. I hung up so fast it scared my dog! Looked up the number and it is listed to an individual in Ohio.

It's a solicitation from a company calling themselves SBD - prerecorded with name 'Kathy'. Trying to sell some sort of business membership and Master Card. I'll ck with the BBB but need to figure where these people are located. This is the third call from them in as many days.

They called my home...not business.

I phoned...man was rude, abrupt. I told him I'm not a business and to remove the numbers. He said it would take 30 days and tried to hang up on me. I said "Wait...don't you even want the numbers?" and he said Ok and I gave them to him but he wasn't listening.
More crooks and liars....Karma isn't good, it isn't bad, it just IS and they'll have it bite them in the ass one of these days.

I told the girl I had already asked to be place on their "do not call" list, she smarted off that I should know it could take up to 30 days to be completed and I might get other calls then hung up on me. I can't find out anything more, or I would report them to the BBB.
