Who Called Us

This company calls for several news papers.
I have told them I get the paper they are trin to sell.
They have called 34 times in 48 hours!
I reported them (I am on dnc) and was told they have "thousands of complaints) so...why bother.
I went6 into my phone and blocked them.

I have asked the solicitors everytime they call to remove my number from their list, they claim to do so, but they keep calling.

Thanks to those who gave me the 216-589-0200 number. I had to call a few extensions because the operator didn't answer. I just kept calling the extensions it offered in the initial prompt till I got somebody. I then asked to be removed from their calling list and they took my number and said it will be taken off. Tired of the calls so hope it works.

Called back and only got a recording of "thanks for holding". They didn't leave a message when they called me and I wasn't able to get to the phone. So I guess I'll have to stay, forever on their call list.

This number belongs to WEST PARK DIRECT- they are not a collection agency- they work or are contracted on behalf of MANY newspapers. They get your telephone number in a database from your local newspaper company and they may also use the telephone book in your area to solicit you for a subscription to the local newspaper company. You may already have an old account w/ a newspaper company and they pull it from there. Usually they will not try to collect past due amounts- depends on their contract. (I used to work for our local newspaper here and we use their services). They could be pushy to get you to subscribe. If you are in doubt by all means call your local newspaper company and ask to speak to the circulation director and tell him you want off the soliciting list- he will have to respect your wishes. Many times WEST PARK is trying to give you a good deal- and it usually is! But if you call the company for a subscription- they will tell you you have to take it from WEST PARK to get that rate, and won't honor it- that is how WEST PARK DIRECT gets paid- by their commission. I have numerous times asked this company to quit calling my home phone, yet I get at least 4+ calls per month. Actually I started getting calls when I switched to landline service from broadband phone service.

No response when I answered

I've been receiving calls from this company for months!!!! When they finally got a hold
of me, they were verrrryyyyy respectful and nice and I actually subscribed to the St.louis post newspaper from the person that called. NOT ALL TELEMARKETING COMPANIES ARE ANNOYING. WESTPARK DIRECT ISNT.!!!

I read some of the comments here. Why do I need to call them and ask to be taken off their list? I am already on the DO NO CALL list. I'm not going to beg these idiots to stop bothering me. I intend to file a complaint against the company.

I am on the do not call list and I resent these people calling me at all hours of the day-along with leaving no message. Twice I answered and they hung up immediately. I consider this harrasment.

I called and they took the number right off the list and were very nice about it. Thanks for doing the research and making this easy guys.

Just received a call from 216-589-0214. When I answered there was no response just some heavy breathing (either this person had emphysema or they where doing the dirty), then they hung up.

After getting multiple calls from this company I decided to look them up. I was disturbed by the posts on this site so I personally went down to their cleveland office. To my suprise I was very impressed with the way their business was being conducted. A manager there by the name of Arthur Bennett greeted me at the door and listened very patiently to my complaints. He then personally walked me through the whole calling process answering all of my questions along the way. Very professional! My opinion about this company has now changed for the better. This is one Telemarketing company that I will answer calls from.

MORE TELEMARKETING COMPANIES SHOULD BE LIKE WESTPARK DIRECT. I DO NOT ACCEPT SALES CALLS,BUT WHEN A TELEMARKETER CALLED ME FROM THIS COMPANY, SHE SOUNDED SO PROFESSIONAL AND COURTEOUS I BOUGHT THE NEWSPAPER FROM THEM.

IF YOU CALL 1-216-589-0200 GIVE THEM YOUR NUMBER THEY WILL TAKE IT OFF THE LIST.

I GET CALLS FROM THEM ATLEAST ONE TIME A WEEK. WHEN I CALL BACK NO ANSWER AND THE RING WILL MAKE A STRANGE NOISE.

I kept getting calls from them that would just hang up no message no nothing. I called 216-589-0200 and got someone that apologized and took me out of their call list. He said it would take a few days to get completely out of the system. So I will see if this worked.

okay, found this site and realized i am not the only one getting calls from this number. so i went to the west park direct website and found a contact number. a woman answered and i told her i did not want to receive calls anymore. so she asked for my number and then told me she is putting me on the do not call list. she told me it may take a couple of days, but after that i would not receive anymore calls. the number to call is : 216-589-0200. it seems a little simple and naive to do just this but when i have tried everything else to stop these annoying calls, i am willing to try anything! hope this helps everyone!

Calls from this number come into our office at least once a day..."they" always hang up and when we call back, no one answers. It's ridiculous and incredibly annoying.

Keeps calling my cell phone

I went to their web site, got their 800 # and called it. It has been changed. 216-589-0200 I call it and spoke to Angela. Told her I was tired of getting calls from them, She ask what they were regarding, a magazine or something? I responded with........I HAVE NO IDEA....No one ever talks to me, It rings, I answer, They hand up. Told her I was on the national no call list, she ask for my number and told me that I would no longer be receiving calls from them. We'll see!

Have been receiving about 5 call a day for the past two weeks.

Since i moved into my new place and signed up for home phone service i have been getting calls from this person or company and it is so damn annoying, i dont know what to do! i never answer the phone by the way.

Said they needed my zip to deliver the Sunday paper. When I said I already get the paper, they said they would update their files..

Called three times 011408 12:02PM, 011608 5:31PM, and 011808 12:11PM. Disconnects when you answer or disconnects after 3 rings.

Oh yeah....research the company.....$million$$$$. And yet....in 2004:

they got FEDERAL money!
