This is the "Card Services" department for Bank of America (& MBNA since their merger). Probably calling to collect money or sell you credit protection.

I think it's MBNA as well.

2007-05-01 14:46:29 UTCTito

uh oh. MBNA (now Bank of America) payment is late.

2007-04-14 15:06:29 UTCannonymous

answered after 5 rings and no one on other line. caller id said "ohio" on my cell phone.

It's BofA calling to get me to pay (guess I forgot about my credit card bill) since the bill is overdue. Go figure.

If you're not sure, answer the phone when it rings and then you'll know who it was.

How do we get them to stop calling? I'm waiting for a heart transplant. Somehow, they got my private medical cell number. They call constantly and never leave a message. I don't have any connection with BoA. Does anyone know how to make them stop calling?

they have called several times and ask for someone who doesnt' live here, they say they are bank of america.. i asked them to quit calling but they haven't yet.

Called 5 times on home number today. Tried to call back 4 times, but prompt states all reps are busy, call back later.

Received a call at 9am from this number on my mobile. I don't have a BoA credit card or any account with 'em.

They call several times a day. "CARD SERVICES" on caller ID.

If they are calling you, it's probably because you are late on a payment. If you don't think you have a credit card w/them, i'd check the situation out--could be ID theft.

They've called me twice a day for over a week now once in the morning around nine and later around five. I didn't recognize the number so I haven't answered. They don't leave a message.

2007-01-29 11:11:42 UTCJason Stewart

Called my cell twice today, no message was left.

2007-01-29 08:53:33 UTCJayson

They called my cell phone (illegal). I turn it off regularly so don't know if this is a first attempt. Called back, it gave two beeps, continued ringing. Male picked up and introduced as Card Services. I believe I got an e-mail with the same number to call. Phishing in a new light. Call them and give your acct # and password.

They call everyday except Sunday. I received a message stating my BOA credit card account has changed. I don't even have a credit card! When I call them back there is no answer.

2007-01-25 12:06:58 UTCBill

I believe the call is from Bank of America Card Services (i.e., BofA Visa)

2007-01-18 18:41:21 UTCTerry

They call my phone everyday, from 8 in the morning to 5 or 6 in the evening. No message. I tried calling back, but only got two beeps.

Thwey call 3 or 4 times every day, especially at 8:30am and dinner time - around 5 or 6:00pm then later at night around 9:00pm. No Name, no message - just "TERRACE OHIO" on my Caller ID.

How do I stop them from calling?

  1. Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
  2. If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the FTC.
  3. Block them with a call blocker:
