How do I stop them from calling?
- Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
- If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the
FTC. - Block them with a call blocker:
Uniden DECT1288 blocks up to 20 numbers, plus Private and Unknown, with the reject tone, without ringing the phone.
Panasonic KX-TG106 blocks up to 30 numbers, plus all unidentified callers, with a busy tone, after the phone rings once.
JF Teck Caller ID with Ring Controller blocks up to 70 numbers, and can be set to always allow up to 100 to ring through.

Voicemail recording of their recording saying to push 1 to speak to an agent about mortgage information. I'm on the do not call registry and these guys need to be turned in.
Answered and just dead air, calls several times a week. Pushed "O" to see if it would go to someone, but still nothing.

my nana got a phone call from these people......
she pickes up the phone and they ask for her and her SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER ............. who does that? people arent dumb enough to give their social security numbers to strangers over the phone and arent these people smart enough to know that the phone number is coming up on caller id and can be traced in a matter of minutes

yep, the guy started to ask me about my morgage, i asked him " to Please put me on the do not call list", then he got mad, and he asked me another question, and I said, "whats the name of your company again? and whats your name?", then he hung up on me !! Makes ME mad !! then I've been trying to call them back, they won't answer !! jerks!
This person or persons are calling wanting to know your mortgage information to get a "profile" of your financial obligations. They have called my home 5 times in the past week and then told me today that they talked to my husband and he had given them his first 5 digits of his SSN# and wanted me to re-verify this information. Of course, I refused several times because they are very persistent and then she said that she would call back and speak to my husband. I then called our local Allstate office and they said that they were not doing any sort of thing like this through a third party or even directly and they are in the process of filing complaints with the FTC. BTW, my husband said that he had told them 2 digits that were not even close to his actual SSN# and had said that these were the last two digits of his SSN and they had requested from me to give the 1st 5 digits to verify.
Do Not Talk to these people! Don't get ripped off!
This number calls twice a day for the past three days. No one on the line.
Agent for this mortgage service asked me a bunch of questions that would lead to me being provided with a mortgage quote. Got to the question about my SS# and I would not give it to them over the phone. They called back later & talked to my wife and tried to tell her that they needed her SS# and that I already had given mine to them. Something is very shady here, I would not give that info to anyone that called me, I would have had to call them.

Someone from this number called today while I was relaxing. My wife answered the phone, and the person calling asked for me by first name. When my wife asked if she could tell me what the call was about she was hung up on. Not sure who they are but obviously they didnt want to state the nature of the call.
They call several times a day; very annoying.
I got call from this no. No one was there. Caller ID showed 216-539-1084.
I attempted to call this number back minutes after my phone rang, and got a disconnected notice
My daughter answered the phone when they called, they asked for my husband, by first name, she told him he was at work and he just said "uhhhh" like he didn't know what else to say and she said he didn't say anything else.
Phone rings, no one there.
I have been in do not call registry for months. this is not a known number to me and I would appreciate it if they were totally blocked.
