Who Called Us

I am a telemarketer and it annoys me when customers don't know what they're talking about. I've never gotten a call from this company BUT telemarketer CANNOT leave messages, if you use your phone number to sign up for ANYTHING, you will get a telemarketing call! DUH ON YOUR PART! DON'T WONDER HOW THEY GOT YOUR PHONE NUMBER. SOME WAY, SHAPE OR FORM YOU GAVE IT TO THEM, SO DON'T ALWAYS BLAME THE TELEMARKETERS, BLAME YOURSELVES FOR GIVING OUT YOUR OWN NUMBER!!! BY THE WAY, I DID SOME RESEARCH, WESTPARK DIRECT SELLS NEWSPAPERS NOT DISH NETWORK PEOPLE WAKE UP.

After getting multiple calls from this company I decided to look them up. I was disturbed by the posts on this site so I personally went down to their cleveland office. To my suprise I was very impressed with the way their business was being conducted. A manager there by the name of Arthur Bennett greeted me at the door and listened very patiently to my complaints. He then personally walked me through the whole calling process answering all of my questions along the way. Very professional! My opinion about this company has now changed for the better. This is one Telemarketing company that I will answer calls from.

I worked at WestPark Direct three times off and on, the last after they relocated from Lakewood to Cleveland,OH. I was fired for not making my hours. They sale newspaper subscriptions for various companies. Their automated dialer calls the same numbers over and over, even those placed on Do Not Call and this annoys people. The phone reps are mostly felons, including at various times, murderers, sex offenders, credit card thieves, robbers and drug dealers. Not the type of people you want to give your credit card info to.

3 calls daily, every day! how can a B.S. automated sales system get cell phone numbers??

This is the 5th call I have recieved today

DAD BURN PESTS! I WISH SOMEONE WOULD STOP THEM.
CLAIM TO BE SELLING SUBSCRIPTIONS TO THE SUN HERALD NEWS PAPER. I AM ALREADY ON DO NOT CALL.

They will never stop until someone makes them; But I am glad that these days we can at least blog and take back some control; If nothing else but to let our stories be told and have our voices heard, we should never give up on silencing those who seek to steal our civic liberty and the thing that makes us all AMERICAN whether you were born here or not, and that is FREEDOM as well as the pursuit of happiness!!! And as free speakers of speech it is also or duty to write as much as possibly and document everything and preserve a paper trail and whenever possible record everything and let them know you are doing it too; often times see how fast they get off the phone and also stop calling. My how the pen is mightier than the sword!!!!!!!!!!

Receiving 2-3 calls per day from this number. Just a bunch of clicks if I answer, no message left if I don't. Has anyone tried calling the number back? I'm tempted so I can give them a piece of my mind, but don't want to pay for the call.

I don't think they are working off of any list of numbers, but are just robot dialing numbers in sequence. I've been getting them at home for about 2 weeks now and NOW they're hitting my office number too! The fellow in the office next door is getting hit at work as well. We've never had the 'pleasure' of having anybody actually speak when we pick up (their computers likely dial multiple lines at once and connect the quickest responder to an operator). My suggestion would be to call or write the companies hiring these sucks and registering your complaints with THEM. The fewer companies hiring these weasles the better.

2 calls so far. Only once did I pick up and there was no one on the other end. I hope it is Dish, I currently have them, but they are getting yanked for Verizon Fios on 10/8. This will be a good time to tell them to go pound sand.

3 times in 3 days, but all from the same outfit (WST PRK DI 216-529-3099). First was soliciting for the Chicago Sun-Times, next was for local paper, and yesterday was for the Policeman's Benevolant League. All scams in my book...

I called and spoke with an agent. They were trying to send me a 7 day free trial of my local newspaper. I am already a subscriber - told her to take me off their call list. Hope it works.

The phone rang and when I answered there's no one there. Why can't this number be traced and something done about it? Apparently there are enough complaints.

They called my cell number last night. I have NO idea how they got my number because I only have given it out to family.I WILL find out how they got it, though, and I WILL file charges against them for harassment. It is illegal for them to call cells in Illinois.

Never left a message on ans.machine. Hope that they don't keep calling. If it is imprtant than they need to leave a message!

I just called 800-403-5998 (west park direct) and I even talked to a human and asked to be removed from call list. I too have been getting 3-4 calls a day. They leave no message, I even got a call at 2AM. Hopefully, I will not get any more calls!! UGH!!

This is the 15th time they have called my house and i havent even had my house phone that long... how do they get our numbers if we're unlisted. i thought if you were unlisted you couldn't be reached by this dumb ass people.

I got a new number less than a week ago and have gotten 2-3 calls a day from these people since it was installed. I finally ran the name on CallerID through Google and found this page and comment listing. If this is so widespread, something should be done immediately. I'd gladly snip all lines into their headquarters if I could find them.

I have told these people to NEVER call me again and if they do I would consider it harassment. Well, they just called me AGAIN!!! I'm reporting them this time - I am completely fed up!! They said they were calling about a subscription to my local newspaper - who I have also told NEVER to call me again!

Originally, these mopes were hawking a Policeman's Benevolent Assn. last year. they will call about every other hour. i hit talk and then end.

They have called multiple times at work, they want me to subscribe to a newspaper that the caller could not pronounce the name of correctly. I have told them multiple times, do not call anymore!!

Was finally in the office to recieve the call - they were selling the San Antonio Express.

I have a BRAND NEW....UNLISTED phone number. It is a secondary line that NO ONE HAS. However I get called everyday by this company. I don't answer, they don't leave a message.

Annoying calls at 8:45 in the morning. 7:30 AM yesterday. 4 times last week. I hope thier satellite crashes to the sea.

this phone line was just hooked up 12/29/06. WET PARK DIRECT has been calling eversince and left messages. today, 01/03/06 they called 4x as it appears on my caller ID. how could that be. returned the call and spoke to lady customer service, knowing they are telemarketers selling news papers.annoying.

This is the 3rd call this past week with no message and they are calling my cell phone! I've had my cell number for about 2.5 years. Unbelievable! I do not know how they got my number.

They call everyday,extremely annoying and I have only experienced prolems with these kinds of calls ever since I got a new home service and i unwisley put my number in the phone book. That may be the problem for this call and others

I answered once, Dish Network, and asked them not to call again. They continue about 3-4 times a day. Great Marketing guys! You act like a jerk and see who purchases your product. Someone needs to go back to school.
