I told them months ago to take me off their call list. Today I get another call and did not answer. Does anyone know the number that you can call to report these type calls... email address of whatever.

they called 3x
the first two times we didn't know the number so we ignored it, the third time we answered no-one replied and then we got dead air.

They called, sat on the phone but never said a word, then hung up.

Also inquired about Direct TV pricing a couple weeks prior.

I have my number on the do not call list and received over 10 calls from this number. When I called the number back, it was DirecTV stating that I called them from my phone number requesting new service, which I NEVER did. The rep asked if I just got the phone number or that if I called from that phone number, it takes my number off the do not call list, hopefully I dont get anymore calls!

After reading some of the comments here and finding out it's Direct TV, I'll be making my own nasty phone call to the company.

Direct tv fits the bill I recently signed with Dish this is at least my second call from them.

Same here. FILE A COMPLAINT WITH donotcall.gov (your number must be registered). I have filed a complaint every time they call. This practice is illegal if your number is registered at this website.

Call me all the time but i do not answer because If it is form Direct tv I do not want it

Called at about noon today. There was so much background noise I could hardly understand what the woman was saying. When I could hear her I could also hear a man in the background coaching her as to what to say.

Calls Often! They have the last 4 digits of my Debit Card. She has tried representing herself as my Visa Card Company, wanting more personal info, so that I could be rewarded. She has tried representing herself as my Bank, telling me that I am a valued customer, also wanting my personal info. When I confront her, she hangs up. I have called DirecTV, they said that this # is not affiliated with them in any way. This # came up as an unlisted residential # through a paid Phone # Lookup. Have been advised by my local phone service provider to contact the FBI, Local Law Enforcement, and my Bank. This is someone trying to Fraud Innocent people. Now they hang up when I answer. BEWARE!!!

FYI the national dnc list is not as basic as you think. First off you have to resubmit your request for placement every 45 days. Second if they are calling to " inform you " about something they can call who ever they want. BUT they have to honor when you ask them to place your number on their OWN DNC list.If they call to initiate an application for a service they can call you. Tell them you dont have a TV and do not plan on buying one any time soon.. Works wonders.

this phone number has called me EVERY WEEKDAY (for 2.5 weeks so far) between 12 and 2 pm. I have not picked up once.

I missed the call, but some lady is singing awfully into my voicemail. Called back and it said Tower Direct.

Just saw this on the caller ID. I recently inquired about directv, so that's probably why they are calling. I can use my voip service to block it :)

called about 3 wks ago to inquire about DTV and now they have started calling me.. i did not give them my ph# and my ph3 is blocked unlisted and listed on the do not call registry and yet when i called back to have them remove my number they were able to give it to me keep in mind i never gave it to them. they told me that i gave it to them when i called as a matter of fact i never gave my name either. i had the rep turn me over to a supervisor and supposedly got my number removed from their list. i also told them that their method of harvesting ph#s was despicable

i keep getting phone calls from this number at all times of the day.

These people call everyday and it doesn't matter what time of day it is. I am getting tired of them calling i did not pick up as i do not reconize the number but at the same time they leave no message. Really something has to be done about them people.

Called me today at 8:20 PM, I have a buttom I push that plays a message "This number does not accept this type of call, PLease take this as you notification to remove this number from your calling list. I called them back at told them to take this number off there calling list. A** H**** , there harvest your phone number if you call for info.

Very annoying... at least 3 times per day, and that's when I screen the call. If I pick up, then its more.

Received third call after advising that I was not interested

DirecTV; they wanted someone named "Amber" (no one here by that name), and tried to get me to sign up for DirecTV when I informed them there was no "Amber".

I started the sign-up option on DirectTV's website, but didn't finish it. After a few days, I got a call, twice, from this number.

I called the number back the next morning and was told to hold for the next available associate. No one answered.

I just got a call from this number. I live in Central florida and the call came in about 15:49 Eastern time. I just established service with DirecTV so they have my information. I googled the number and found this site. No one said anything and the call was disconnected.

soon after my call to Direct TV. Others have this same problem - it appears related. Never had a Spam problem before Direct TV's 'Tower Direct Marketing' [verified] ignored my DNC request. They seemed annoyed by my Polite DNC request (x3) - who knows-- maybe Retaliation ???

Also now getting many 'No Number' calls for the 1st time too.....

I've received a few calls from this number, each time I say "Hello" they hang up, pretty annoying. Most recent was this AM, idiots woke me up.

Got a call from this number the last two nights, It sends me to a message machine saying Power Direct and to hold for a customer service representative. I have yet to speak to anyone on the other end. I did recently call about aquiring service from DirecTV, so it makes sense.

It is Direct TV - they said if you had called them at any time and inquired about service you get put on this list. If you call the number back you go right to the call center and if you get a nice person there they SHOULD take you off of the list. Good luck - what a pain.

DirectTV calling on my Cell

Have been receiving numerous calls daily (at all hours of day and night) from this number, showing up only with the # and Cincinnati, OH on my Caller ID. I don't answer, and they do not leave a msg. I double check that I am on the Do Not Call Registry, and also called Direct TV's main # to be placed on their Do Not Call list.

Came in on my cell phone. No message left. I assume it was DirectTV as well, since I just cancel an order.

Caller ID herself as Direct TV person wanted our soical security number to check our credit to see if we could get TV service. We currently have Mediacom and not receiving CBS programing.

It's direct TV with a sales pitch.

Called about 9pm. When answered heard woman talking in background, but she did not answer. When I called back I got a recording to return call during normal business hours. Just got my new cell phone number yesterday. Haven't had directv for over a year and when I did I had a land line phone number.

Call came in at 10:54am. As soon as I answered the phone, they hung up. I called back and got an auto-attendant for Tower Direct. I was on hold for a while but never got to talk to a human being.

This number called me twice. Only the number showed up. As soon as I pick up my phone, no one is in line. It is anoying to get unresonable calls like this one.

I have gotten 6 calls from this number in the past 5 days, but it only rings once so when I pick up it says missed call.

Received a call,could tell it was a call center. I hung up. I am on the so called national "Do not call list". They called back, I answered he yelled a profanity "Bitch" and hung up.

If you have made an attempt to set up service or inquired about Directv this is why you are recieveing this call. Because you initiated the call first they are protected from the DNC registrey and can not be prosicuted. BUT you can ask them to put you on a DNC list!

Not sure who it was. We subscribed to DirecTV last week, though.

I called back and gave some guy an earful about their courtesy call not being courteous enough to talk to me! ;)

This number calls once a day, EVERY day, for the last 3-4 weeks, sometimes even twice. There is never anyone there when I call back or a message on the machine.

Same thing...tons of calls, no messages. How is this possible?

They just keep calling w/no message leave. I have no ideas why they called and what they want. I would like to know and how to stop that. If anyone know how, please let me know.

The phone number was the only thing displayed.

DIRECTV call center. Wants me to sign up service. Asked to be taken off list since i already have DIRECTV service.

They called many times with no one there and finally a person. This is some call center.

Must have been DirectTV for me too. I didn't answer, but a voicemail of a bunch of noise (like a call center) was left. Makes sense Direct TV would call though because I recently cancelled an installation. Thanks!
