How do I stop them from calling?
- Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
- If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the FTC.
- Block them with a call blocker:
Uniden DECT1288 blocks up to 20 numbers, plus Private and Unknown, with the reject tone, without ringing the phone.
Panasonic KX-TG106 blocks up to 30 numbers, plus all unidentified callers, with a busy tone, after the phone rings once.
JF Teck Caller ID with Ring Controller blocks up to 70 numbers, and can be set to always allow up to 100 to ring through.

Man even when you make payment arrangements with these people there are still hounding you. They really need to get a life. They really need to start focusing on what is going on with the car dealers. it's like someone said time to refi with another company and they can start losing business.
you have to realize that the moment you fill out an application for anything major, house/car, your name & number becomes available to anyone who pays for it. My advice - before you refinance or buy a car ask if they sell their lists. If they do don't go with them. Also realize that all these companies are interraleted. You may not have done anything with HSBC but they are affiliated with Discover Cards and all their entities.
boy they are annoying. Calling even if the payment isn't late yet. get 10-12 calls a day on each phone line from them between all the numbers they use. Time to refinance
They usually call me about 10 times a day... ALL day long...
HSBC also calls from 214-488-5145, 516-576-8785, 800-836-6469. HSBC calls constantly, even after you cut a deal with them.
I don't have any car loans but they still call three times a day!
My car is getting payed off by a new loan, but, HSBC continues to call me about 12-16 times a day and now I've started receiving calls from this number! Haha silly HSBC
Another number that HSBC uses when you stop answering the #800 that they always use still getting 7-9 calls a day whether i answer or not.
oh...you have to pay your car paments on time???
