People, a whistle kept by the phone works wonders with these types of calls.

THIS IS A SLAMMING OPERATION (PROBABLY) TRYING TO ADD THIRD-PARTY CHARGES TO YOUR PHONE BILL. DON'T FALL FOR IT!

The caller identified himself as being with "Verizon" -- said he was confirming our directory listing. We aren't listed with Verizon. Caller REPEATEDLY said it was a free call. Caller misidentified my business name. Obviously had my phone number. I gave him a phony name and title to "verify my listing." The caller tried to connect via three-way call to a computer that was asking for a "billing telephone number" -- I interrupted the three way call and told the moron I did not want a bill for anything that was free. Told him I had his caller ID number and I would call him back. I called the number back, and it's busy of course. This is NOT A LEGITIMATE CALL!

These are "Ring Central" phone numbers (see ringcentral.com). Ring Central is a call forwarding service. The calls originate overseas; they are not actually calling from Dallas metro or any other domestic local area. These are fraudulent phishing and scam calls. Do not give them information. Reporting to DNC will not make any difference because this is not a legitimate caller. You can report to your telco and the TX telco, but not much can be done to stop calls like this.

The caller id says A C he said his name is Ryan Reyes, very heavy accent, wants to update our company's information. Connects to a recorded message asking questions such as phone number, address, my name, my title. Said he was calling for Centurylink our phone company. Called the phone company and they said it is probably a 3rd party billing company. Had it blocked from my phone bill. DON'T GIVE THIS GUY ANY INFORMATION!!!! Called the number on the caller id back and you just get a busy signal. I asked him for his phone number the number he gave me belongs to Flashweb, a web hosting company and they never heard of him.

Got call on cell phone. Said "Hello" but they hung up. Tried to call back but phone is constantly busy.

I don't know how this person does it, but my answering machine doesn't even go on..it's a spanish speaking woman, there are at least 2 babies in the background, the words are slurred, & there's no way i'm taking this.

Caller ID says "A C" when I picked up, it sounded like I was connected but there was no voice even after I said "hello" several times

Called earlier in the week but hung up shortly after I answered.
Today they called and a woman (forgot her name) gave "MIT - Management Insight Technologies" as the company name and asked if I (she had my full name) wanted to take their survey and receive a $25(?) Amazon gift card. Asked where she got my number and she said a different department(?) or company gives them the info.
Sorry, no answers to my one question survey? Then definitely survey answers for you! :-)

Answered call but only some noise in the background, then "caller" hung up.

Picked up phone, heard voices, but got no response and they hung up. I then called the number back right away and it stated the number was disconnected....

Called, left no message.

Called office, hung up when answered phone.

Woman with accent was laughing and trying to say something. Told her to F off and hung up.
