Who Called Us

One admits that life seems to be high priced, but we require cash for various issues and not every one earns enough money. Hence to get fast loans or just secured loan should be a correct solution.

Nobody speaks. My # is on Fed Do Not Call. They call daily. Vertex Group

Just got a call from 213 943 5214. No message left, which is rather rude. I called back to see who it was and got a "fast busy" tone three times.

Just received two calls from this number: 213-943-5214

First call was on my cell phone.
I didn't recognize the number, so I didn't answer.
They hung up immediately without leaving a message.

Then my home phone rang, same number, same thing, hung up with no message left.

Both phone lines showed the number as: 213-943-5214.
But didn't show a name or anything else, just the number.

No clue who these people are.
I don't owe anyone anything, so it's not a bill collector in my case.

This is the first time that number has called my cell or home, so I wasn't familiar with it.

I do know this though:

If they get enough complaints on that page, they just might go after the callers from that line.

They called, and since there was no ID, I immediately sent them to voicemail. The voicemail message was 8 seconds long and was nothing but dead air.

Several calls per week, no message. I don't dare answer since they are obviously not calling for my benefit, but for themselves. "Do not call lists" don't help. Who are these clowns, and how can we shut them down?
213 is LA. Theer's a Vertex Group, Inc. consulting corp with 213 prefix (but don't know if related.
Isn't there an easy fix - contact phone provider and get name or entity paying thebphone bill???

I get these calls about twice a day. Next time they call, answer the phone and tell them that you wish to be taken off there call list. They have to comply with the request via FCC regulations. Granted allot of people are on the "Do not call" list and still get called, so who knows if they will acknowledge this request.

They, of course, wouldn't identify themselves & continued to prod for personal data, which I refused until they told me who they were & who they were representing.
The only thing they would tell me is they were going to send me a "Medical Devices" magazine. I intend to contact the publisher & inform them this type of marketing is going to cost them my business.

They've called my cell several times over the last week or so, never leave a message. They don't answer when I call back. Just submitted a complaint to the feds.

Got a message "Hello" from this number

They called our office claiming to be from the Chamber of Commerce. Then asked where we moved to, I said we have not moved. He asked if we plan on moving anytime in the next year or two? I said NO and hung up.
Some sales/solicitor wasting my time.
Why doesn the Do Not Call work on businessess??

They just called me. I waited because I thought I heard someone in the background. a minute or two later I was listening to a conversation with someone asking "how long does someone have to dispute a claim".. they quickly hung up??????

This number called my work number at least twice a week. They never left any messages.

They constantly call and hang up on my work number. It's really irritating because it automatically appears on my pager and it's just a hang up which I run to a phone to return. How do I get a hold of these idiots to make them stop calling.

They left a message inquiring about a vehicle I was selling. Stated they helped match buyers and sellers up.

They are calling my cell phone, and not leaving a message. Just annoying beyond anything else. When you call the number back it doesn't ring or anything, it just goes dead.

Finally got a response from these people (after many hangups). It seems they are confirming recipients for a professional publication I receive (for free). I guess the magazine publisher is cleaning up their lists.But the operator from an offshore telephone bank was very hard to understand.No wonder they're not picking up or leaving messages - they can't speak english very well!

Very scary. Repeated calls at all hours, hangups, no messages on machine.How can they possibly think anyone who has been victimized by this would be amenable to doing business with them? I'm contacting the FCC to file an official complaint.They've got to be one of the more egregious practitioners of telephone harassment, whoever they are.

They've called me several times on my Mobile phone. I've had my number listed on the 'do not call' list for several months. This is rediculous.

This is a call center making calls to subscribers of CIO Decisions magazine to renew their free subscription. I renewed my subscription and the call took less than one minute.

I've been getting a daily call from them for a few weeks now. Since I didn't recognize the number, I haven't answered. They always call Monday-Friday and about the same time of the day too. I called the number on the weekend, and it doesn't even go into voicemail.

I've received 4 or 5 calls a day from this number for the last month. Reported to donotcall list.

They called me, I called back (no answer). This was especially obnoxious since I was in a meeting at the time of the call and excused myself to call them back. I, too, am on the do-not-call list, so if I ever hear back from them, I'll report them.

They keep calling me at work, i don't pickup, they never leave a voicemail, then they will call the front desk receptionist and then she will transfer them to me, again i dont' pickup and again they won't leave a message...
