The phone is ringing, and I don't recognize the number,
All Caller ID says is, "NAME UNAVAILABLE".
Please help me figure out who is calling and what they want

Very Very Annoying!!! Call over and over and over to my work. Wants names of executives. Wants to talk to "live" person in Marketing. Over and over they call. They will not leave a voicemail or message for anyone, want to speak to someone live. They are pushy, and keep calling back, trying to get a VP or something to answer a phone.
VERY annoying.
I don't care for that company at all.

Called CMP Media & they (of course) deny they are responsible for the calls.
I told them to check their marketing with respect to telemarketing policies & outsourcing to this offending company.
I told them to check this & other sites for the 1000's of complaints & asked if THAT'S good business.

I will certainly NEVER do any business with them until they STOP harrassing people in this manner (up to 10 calls per day

They call my office phone daily (FOUR times yesterday!!), never leave a message; caller id sometimes is 213-537-1383 & sometimes is 1-213-537-1383 leading me to believe it's an alias or relay number. If you attempt to dial it back, it either rings several times or there is a 30 second pause then turns "busy".
This is one of the LOWEST of lowlifes!

Whoever keeps calling me speaks almost no English and they call me 3 times a day at work. I've asked them to stop calling, but they obviously have a hard time understanding English.

FOLLOW UP TO PREVIOUS MESSAGE:yellow pages .com indicates that this number is a Land Line in LA and
the registered Service Provider is T Cast Communications. However, do to phone number portability the number may or may not be in LA.

How do I stop them from calling?

  1. Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
  2. If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the FTC.
  3. Block them with a call blocker:
