I too, am on the do not call list. I was asleep at 8:03 a.m. after a bad night, when I was awaken by a phone call. The lady had a very heavy accent and I could not understand her. But, she was calling to send me a package to apply for a government grant (would be just like the government to outsource this work overseas) She would be willing to send a package for me to fill out for a government grant(not to be paid back, of course). All I had to do was give her my credit card number to pay the 1.95 postage costs. I gave her a hard time and told her I did not have said credit card. She said yes, you do. I asked her to send it c.o.d. and and I would pay cash when it arrived. She could not do that. Boy, was I surprised!!! NOT !!!!!! but, she did not get my credit card number. It is my belief that had I given her my number, I would be in a world of hurt...financially.

They have been calling me for about 2 mouths now and will not tell me what they want the name is the same (Globalreach int) but the number is not the number that i get is 1-213-452-6533

I am getting a call from these people every 5 or 10 minutes a day starting as early as 7:00 am and not ending until 9:00 pm. It is very annoying. They call from several different numbers. I am also on the do not call list.

They just rang my phone 12 times from 7:30PM to 9:05 PM. From 8:40Pm on it rang every 3 to 5 minutes. WHOOAHH!!! Considering they call from over 50 numbers, I don't believe worrying about which number they called from really matters at all...

As with any telemarketers you never want to hear from again, tell them that the person they are looking for is dead. I used to work as a telemarketer when I was younger and this was the one excuse our managers would actually listen too in regards to removing that number from the data base. Any other responses... the number was put back in the system and would pop up again in my call sheets, regardless how mad the person we were calling would get, they'd recycle numbers over and over again until you die.

This company has called every day for at least the last two months. They start as early as 7:30 a.m. and continue to call every couple hours or so. My name is on the do not call list and this company will be reported to them. I consider this type of call harassment.

YA KNOW I bet thses freaks call and look on sites like this a little later and then they get into your computer and match up the info. on your computer to your phone number and they then have a free ride to the Bank on us.

I just called back the number & they answered a different company. I told them that I had contacted my local Better Business Bureau and that they should really take the time to read all of these comments on this site.. like I have Next time they call I am recording the conversation...Good luck :(

Continued to research globalreach and found some connection with a man named Dr. Jay Sherbondy. Based out of Las Vegas Con man. I google his name when I found Info on him in these complaint web sites. He is definately associated with global reach. There are a few web sites that give you an opportunity to email him but on some you had to put in your info to email him. Anyway I have already spent an hour of my precious time on this tonight. Besides I have no money for him to scam anyway!!!!!

Came home from work and my children said there was a strange phone call someone asking for my husband. They said he was not home and the caller proceeded to ask my CHILDREN personal information. Like what their relationship was with him and thank goodness my children had the sense to hang up. When I got home they were terrified because they knew they messed up by say we were not home. Whoever these people are I hope whatever watch groups are out there please please do something. This is not your normal telemarketing scam...

I get numerous calls from this # (213 426 2708) daily for months. I answered in the beginnning & no one there,,,now I let the answering machine go. These pricks will get what they deserve

I was not at home at the time when I recieved two calls from 213-452-6539, and my caller ID showed it as GLOBALREACH INT. The two calls were only about an hour apart. I am registered on the national do not call list, but aparently these people don't don't check that list.
I think I'll report them as I have done with a few other numbers in the past. After I report them on the "do not call" list, I normally don't get calls from them anymore.

This company has called my home 12 times today. 10 times in one hour no one was home to answer the phone.How can i get them to stop.

I have been getting calls from this number from the time i get up in the morning (5am) until way after i go to bed at night(11pm), it just rang, and it is someone that is way in the background that can't speak english, this has been going on for just about a week and i would sure like to see it stopped.

have received 4 calls so far today. spoke to a man with an accent saying i had applied for a government grant .tild him his info was false,said he had my info in his data base and he was following up. when i asked what the grant was for he hung up.appeared slightly irrated that i was questioning him.

I have been getting calls from the same company except the number I'm getting calls from is 213-228-8111. Same people. This morning, 6/19/08, I receive 4 within 15mins. I finally gave in and changed my number. It's work to get everyone that "needs" to know, but it's worth it. I believe it comes from placing adds online. It seems to me that these people are trying to get your business to go global. That's my theory. Good Luck to all!

Got the call; since it's a business line so I had to answer it! They were trying to update our yellow page listings.

I got a call from these People about a free Government Grant Program I applied for and they wanted a credit card number. I do not give out my number to anyone that calls me. They give me a number to call them back which is the same number on the caller ID. They did not get my CC number, and will keep calling. Let them for a while until Either they will get tired or I will.

This phone number started calling my cell phone on 01/17/2008. Calls started once a day about 8 pm for about three days and then went to twice a day. First call late morning and second 8 pm for a week. Now I'm getting three calls a day. Morning, afternoon, and night. Caller ID shows name unknown.

Almost impossible to communicate with. Some very foreign accent. She could not understand that I was F. Williams and I could not understand what or who she was. After much repetition on both of our parts. I heard that "I signed up" for something. So, I finally got it across that "I do not want it and take me off your list"(I think.. the proof will come if I am not charged for something I never wanted.)

This number called my home 3 times during the 8 PM hour tonight. No one is there to respond if I answer the phone, and no message is left on my answering machine. I identified the number by using the *69 feature.

I have received numerous calls from this number. They have my full name. The number isnt even in my name. They said they are calling about grant information. Half of the time there isnt anybody on the line. this time there was. I told her to stop calling, that the number they are calling is listed on the do not call registry. I also let her know that I did post a complaint with the do not call registry which I did do today. I also blocked their number so they cant call my home anymore. I have comcast for my phone service and only had to dial *60 and follow the directions. So hopefully it will work. I have been getting calls every 10 to 15 minutes from them and so far since I blocked their number I havent gotten any. Hope this helps someone else. =)

got this phone call on my cell phone. tried calling it on the landline and was told not a working number. how do they do this. if you are on the no call list and everything. is there anything anyone can do. i dont need phone calls like this.

This number called ME 7 times today on my cell phone. I am on the do not call list also and when I called the number back it was some girls voice with rock music, no name of course.

The guy took my number down and asked for my name (I only gave a first name). He indicated that this would be taken care of (let's hope!!!!) This is the company who is calling you. Call these people at the 1800 number and tell them to stop. They are based out of the Philippines, and are an outsourced telemarketing company. I called one of the contacts and told him to Google his company name and see the hundreds of complaints credited to his company.

I have been getting these calls from 213-533-8042 for the last 4 days. They call at least 5-6 times per day. Before 7 am in the morning and after 9 pm at night. I've answered and they hang up. I reported the number to my phone carrier and requested a block.

These people from Globalreach Int have called for the last two days, the number is 213-533-8042 when I answer no says a word the phone gets hung up. I'm supposed to have block on my phone that dosent allow these calls threw.

nmow it's getting really wierd. checking my recieved calls at comcast I get incoming from GLOBALREACH INT. but on 2 out of 6 of theses calls show's mt cell # instead of 2134526535??????????????? T-Mobile is investigating

I have been getting calls for months and months. Sometimes as many as 5-6 per day. They never leave a message and I never answer, but they just keep calling. I am also on a do not call list. I also get almost an equal number of calls from Hello World (didn't keep the #), always on the same days as Globalreach Int and no messages from them either. These assholes have been calling me 2 or 3 times a day for 3 weeks now. When I answer I say nothing and there is nobody on the other end. I called back and of course it is busy.

I suspect they are up to no good and need to be reported.

Caller ID says "Globalreach int", but person on other end says their "Wind Source Solutions". They have been calling our receptionist 2-3 times a day attempting to social engineer additional information on people to call. I'm glad my receptionist has been well trained. This has been going on for about three weeks.

They have called my computer repair business 3 times in the past two days. When I answer, they hang up.

I got a call from this number but could not pick up. Curious, I googled it and found a hit on this web page. They called me back two days later. It was a AAA (Auto Club) representative, doing a survey for a recent car repair done by a local mechanic. It seemed legitimate to me.

The woman had an accent. Due to the input of others on this web site, I wonder whether this is a trunk line for a independent contract research company that is funnelling calls into the U.S. from India or some such place?

Showed up on my caller id as Los Angeles. I didn't answer the call. After reading what everyone wrote, I think they are just calling to find out which numbers work and which are answered by machine or human. I do think they sell this info to a variety of clients, for example telemarketers and collection agencies. I am on National Do Not Call List. But lately have been getting calls from companies in many different businesses according to Caller ID, in many different locations. Seems to me like something very odd is going on.

I just got an article published about my business here in Boston, they've called 5 times since then, 3 of the calls were 5 minutes apart. Also got some junk e-mail offering to frame the article on a plaque for me. Wonder if its related, based on other comments.

Based on these comments, they are up to no good. Called back no service.

They called trying to sell me some plaque thing...and it would have a newpaper article about me that was published in my local town. I told them to send me an email with info. They never did!

They had all my info...phone # (obviously), email, comapny name and some other info. Then some young chick requests to chat with me on google a couple hours later. SO I accepted...comes to find out that this chick is friends with the chick that call me!!! I busted out some CSI skills...found out that the # is cali (213) and the chick said she was from cali...and her friend was from NV and workin in CT??? Very weird!!

P.S. I did a reverse lookup on the number on several web sites, but whitepages.com was the only one with any info. It had the following:

(213) 452-6535 is a land line based in Los Angeles, CA. The registered service provider is Pacific Bell.

That was all I could get for free. There were several sites that claimed the Name and Address were available for a price. Hmmmm! Perhaps that is the key. Perhaps One or more sites that offers info for a price actually has people calling randomly and bugging individuals so they will try to look up the number. Then the person pays a service for the contact info, and bingo, they have made money just by calling and bugging people!!! I suggest nobody should pay to find out who is calling, just ignore it. It shows up on my cell as that number, so I can avoid answering now.

The number 213-452-6535 called me 8 times on my cell phone today between noon and 8 pm! Nobody ever answered me, and the call cuts off very quickly. If the call lasted longer I would susspect a pervert, but since it hangs up so quickly, I doubt that is it.

I don't see any reason to keep calling. If it was just a computer trying random numbers to see who answers it, and then sell that number to some telimarketer, then it would only have to call once.

They called my business 3 times today. We had an article on our business recently and they misrepresented themselves to be from the newspaper who wrote the article. Tried to sell a framed "original" article. Told them not interested and they called 30 minutes later to try the same scam!

I received 4 calls from that number on 10/21/06 between 9am-2pm PT. The first time I answered, no one was there. I missed the other 3 calls and no msg was left. I tried to call back & received the same recording stating the # was not in service.

They called twice and never talked back (number showed as "unknown". Third time they answered and claimed to be from the Discover Card services.
