Caller asked for my wife, an obvious sales call, poor English, heavy accent. When I asked the purpose of the call they kept asking if I was (my wife's name). When I challenged them that this is a sales call they hung up.

GSS recruiting at Lionbridge.com!!! This is how our number got on this list. SCAMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I receive calls from this number several times every day. I have a message on my voice mail from someone calling from this number. It is obviously someone using a computer to talk. They do have my correct name because they say they are trying to get in touch with " " my name is said with a heavy accent apparently from the middle east. It is obvious that it is a call center because of the background noise.

File a complaint with the FCC on-line. If they get enough complaints MAYBE they will do something about it.

THIS ACTUALLY WORKS!! - NO CALLS ANYMORE!

they will continuously call you if you don't either block them with your provider or do the following steps.

1. Answer the call, IMMEDIATELY mute yourself. If there's any sound the call will disconnect right away, and you'll have to wait until they call you again.

2. Wait for someone to say "HELLO"...and they will eventually, about three times before they hang up.

3. Immediately take yourself off mute, and say "TAKE ME OFF YOUR LIST"

4. The rep, will proceed to explain why they're calling, and say something like you placed an order. ITS A SCAM!

5. REPEAT yourself, say: "TAKE ME OFF YOUR LIST"

6. The rep will abruptly hang up on you.

7. Enjoy!! - The will never call you again.

It worked for me, and others. Haven't gotten anymore calls all day long

So glad that I am not the only person experiancing this.
I had someone call and ask for my credit card number, after refusing to give it to him he hung up on me.
So I called again, told them I want to cancel my free trial offer, and when I asked for a confirmation number the person hung up on me. I called again and YELLED telling them that I was going to report them if I did not get a number. I ended up calling a 1-800 number for the product, and told them I wanted it cancelled.
I still recieve calls from these bastards, and am getting annoyed. I cannot get the number blocked from my cell phone, what choices do I have now?! The guy with my phone company said I would have to change my cell phone number.
I can't believe I fell for this, I feel so STUPID!

I keep gettng calls from this number I tried calling back from a number they can not track and nobody answers they call about 20 times a day!

Thanks for the note Bea! I filled out the ad for Acai but changed my mind and didn't complete it. This is bullsh*t that they keep calling. I've gotten 16 calls in two days! I called them back and bitched them out, and I haven't gotten another call... yet.

I gave my number to the acai berry people yesterday and decided not to bother. Two calls today so far.

If you have answered an ad for Acai berry for weight conrol, this is the company who will hound you when you decide not to buy. I called to get a free sample, ($4.98 postage) and was told that they wanted my credit card number so they could take $60.00 out every month for the product. I declined, but they continue to call. 8 times already today and it is only about 3:15. I answered one time and the rep was so foreign that I didn't even recognize my own name. Needless to say, I do not answer when it shows up on my caller ID.

I have received 9 calls today already, and it is only 1:30pm. If I try to answer the phone call ends at 2 seconds. Does anyone have any idea what this is about?

Calls trying to get credit card information. Obviously from out of country. Not speaking English well. Beware of FRAUD

This number calls me constantly, and for the past week. It usually calls around 8AM, 5PM and 9 PM. And it's really annoying. Why the hell are you calling just to hang up!?

In the past two days this number has called my home over a dozen times. They will not leave a message nor will they talk to you. Click is all you hear. I am very angry when these scammers get away with this crap. They have not had this number long enough to file a formal complaint with the do not call registery.

They call me at least twice a day and have been doing so for at least a week. It's freakin annoying!!! They won't answer when I call and they hang up when I pick up...

They call twice then don't speak... whatever it is, it's annoying.

I got a call from this number today (2/9/09)first one @ 7:37pm. I was not looking at my cell phone, thinking it was my husband calling I answered. Whoever was calling did not say anyting and hung up. the second call came in @ 8:20 (I was on another call)I googled the # and wow!!! my caller ID said unknown but the # they are calling from is (213)426-2701.

I received 2 phone calls and picked up both times. In both instances they hung up. When I called back it just rang and rang. I have yet to receive a voice mail...I assume that they are waiting for me not to pick up so they can leave a voice mail. I did a reverse address look up and the call is originating in Los Angeles. The name and address are unregistered but it is a PacBell/AT&T number. I did some research online and figured out that this phone number and globalreach int. are associated with scams of some kind. Some sources declared identity theft. Be aware. I contacted AT&T and they said they can only do anything about it if you're an AT&T customer, but that the usual protocol is to contact your own phone provider which should have an annoyance call department. The Northeast has an annoyance call bureau you should look into. The AT&T lady also recommended calling your local police department. As I received the calls after 5 PM the Verizon annoyance call bureau I tried contacting was not open. I contacted my local area police department and they said that since nobody said anything harassing they can't do anything about it immediately, but to speak to their detectives tomorrow during the day. I contacted LAPD and they told me the same thing. This may be something the FBI deals with as it is an interstate issue but I have not tried. I intend to contact the annoyance call bureau and both police departments' detectives during business hours.

They call me and dont leave a message when I cant answer the phone. Im not going to wast my time to try and find someone who wanted to talk with me in the first place and then doesent let me know what they want.
